Hey all,

I guess it's that time again! This thread will be all about the upcoming alderaan edit that I've been working on for the past few months. 

What's new?

Dedicated training rooms

Misc. Changes

  • Drastically reduced the amount of props on the map.
  • Added vents to R-SEC for some jailbreak RP. 🙂
  • Optimization all around the level.
  • Added The Ruins of Hula
  • Reworked the elevator, you cannot get stuck in them now.
  • Made the access to the secret underground bar more accessible.

The perma-propped stuff in the bunks (the props that spawn with the map and we cannot remove) is a small pain Mr. Stoneman.
What's happening to those?
They are cool but there's a few to many of them.

I don't mind the ones in the hallways but the ones inside the bunks are a minor hassle.

Lmao what is the ruins of Hula? Please don't tell me there's not just gunna be a bunch of hula girl props hidden around the map.

Otherwise love the cleanup you've done so far. Suggestion from me is maybe a small little outpost out in the snow or something? Just like a small comms tower with a little control room. Can think of heaps of RP things to do with it.

This is kind of poggers.  Imo the ship area should be sacked and just include a navy area, and use the extra grid space to turn the barracks building into a proper Military outpost with amenities like RSEC, briefing, medbay etc.

 

The edits look good so far.

Alderaan Version 1B:

  • Fixed holes around the map.
  • Fixed sound engine sometimes being wacky.
  • Added a forcefield to RSEC's vent.
  • Changed the RSEC and temple brig buttons to be toggle instead of two buttons.
  • Added a forcefield to ARC bunks.
  • Added another path in the vent leading to medbay.
  • Fixed the medbay cells not being solid.
  • Moved the Ruins of Hula entrance.
  • Fixed occluders hiding more than it should.
  • Moved the Jedi Council Room closer to the view, allowing them to see outside.
  • Fixed teleporters kicking you back, to be less annoying.
  • Changed the elevator volume to be quieter.
  • Added a railing to the second floor of bunks.
  • Added new entrances to the underground area.
  • Optimized the map even more.
  • Hid all the hula dolls again.
  • Fixed the HDR being way too bright.
  • Fixed many bugs around the map.
  • And many more things I honestly forgot..
