CEC - Create a FOB Stage For Pre-Event Lineups CLOSED 26/11/18

Recommended Posts

For those who have wanted a chance to do something for the community, work closer with the Event Master team, and generally just show off your building talents-- this is that chance. Much like the briefing room challenge Gary hosted (of which didn't have too much feedback, but I digress), this challenge is primarily an optional little something for the community to get involved in and try your hands at something that'll last depending on the end result. The rules and details of said challenge will be listed below.

Rules

 1. No more than 50 props must be used on the dupe.
 2. It must contain: a staging area that can comfortably fit 50+ players, a stage for EMs, and have a Star Wars feel to it. Dupes that don't meet this criteria will be disregarded and tossed aside.
 3. It must be able to comfortably fit in most event maps in some form or another. If your dupe is too large to fit anywhere, it will likely not be used.
 4. Only one entry per person.
 5. A maximum of 3 winners will be chosen, however it is most likely that only 1 or 2 entries will be picked.
 6. No fading doors nor moving props must be used.
 7. No submissions before the 1st of November, and after the 25th of November.

Rewards?

 • Bragging rights.
 • Praise from the Event Master team.
 • Your dupe being used within events during pre-event lineups and planetside briefings.
 • Your dupe being used within events for a proper FOB and staging area to possibly provide players with pre-event entertainment.
 • Permission from the EM Team to be the one to fire off a Davy Crocket to finish off an event, on the day your dupe debuts (if the theme fits).
 • Permission from the EM Team to spend the days events and the following downtime of the day your dupe debuts in as a General of whom fights alongside the ground forces. 1,000hp and a loadout and model of your choice (moderated by the Event Masters).

Quick Question, when/if the TV addon is fixed should we make our Pre-Line up dupe incorporate a position for the TV?

It probably won't get fixed and if we get something new it won't be the same as the one we had before. Do not bother leaving a space for the tv.

Very keen to see how this goes, I'd join in but my building skills are far superior to those of a mortal gamer.

Good luck to those who enter.

(also, since my post has some actual value to it and SHOULDNT be deleted by forum staff, heres beatroots shitpost that was deleted:

Can I make it in Minecraft?)

Am i allowed to make a map of it, convert it into a prop and beat out all these kids with my advanced skyscraper prop?

Can people team up to do this or solo only?

You may team up for a split reward if you wish, just ensure it's in a single post to avoid confusion. No more than yourself and one other however.

Are there any limits besides the prop maximum?

Give me an example and I'll give you an answer, because I'm unsure what you mean.

Nothing explosive. Typical server rules when building really.

Submissions are closed. @Cuffs blew it straight out the water with his submission, and will promptly be allowed the rewards. There's no real competition about that. do you even play the server? @Apex If he so chooses, may receive a runner-up reward on a different day, as he was the only other participant. Both of you can contact me over Steam/Discord/Forum Inbox/Teamspeak and we can organise the reward and paperwork as promised, if you so choose to claim it.
