Unbiased, will not hesitate to take actions on friends, being active and an experienced player on the server however I am not very experienced with being staff on a RP server however I will strive to learn everything I need to learn. Know how to deal with stressful situtations and just overall want to make Gateway a better place for everyone so they can enjoy playing the server. Do you believe you're able to deal with individuals and situations in a completely unbiased manner? I believe that I can handle situations in an unbiased manner. Do you use our Teamspeak server often? Yep, I use it every single day. Do you understand that as a member of the Staff Team, your position may be subject to change and / or termination should you not be performing to the degree stipulated? Yes I completely understand. [Legend] Text Situations ULX Commands Speech 1. A user is RDMing and insulting other users. You are the only staff available to deal with the situation. What do you do? I would first !administrate to an isolated area where no users can see or interrupt the sit. I would then do /logs to see if the user who was accused of RDMing actually RDM'd and then when I find that he was doing it I would "!bring (User)" and then proceed to jail him by using the command "!jail (User)" once jailed I would !unadministrate and say to the user "I've heard complaints about you RDMing people and insulting other players, is this true?" and if they own up to it and comply I would say to the user "Do you understand that RDMing and insulting other players is violating the rules of this server?". Then I would proceed to link the player the rules, then "!warn (User) RDM X# | Verbal abuse" and if they continue to RDM again I would then "!ban (User) RDM X# | Player Disrespect | NITRP) the ban would be for 30 minutes to 1 hour depending on how severe it was. However if the user stopped after the warn I would "!return (User)". 2. A user has contested a warn you have given him and proceeds to verbally abuse you, what do you do? I would "!bring (User)" and explain to him why he deserved the warn and after finishing I would then question him "Why did this warn make you so upset?" if he explains why it made him so upset I would try to calm him down and give him a link to the rules to give him an understanding of what he did wrong so he does not do it again. However if he ignores my question and starts to berate me even more I would ask a fellow member in admin chat to mediate the situation to ensure there is no bias present and the warn is fair. 3. A user has threatened to DDos and take down the server. What do you do? I would "!ban (User) Threatening to DDos Server) I would then proceed to take screenshots/ shadowplay the incident and report it straight to Senior Staff so they can deal with the situation further. 4. A Commander and Lieutenant are arguing in front of debrief. It is getting quite heated. The context to the argument is unknown to you. What do you do? I would first try to calm the situation down and if that doesn't work out, I would then "!administrate" to an isolated location and "!bring (Commander)" and "!bring (Lieutenant)" then "!unadministrate" after unadministrating I would try to get the context and ask them one by one. I would then get them both together and say "Right, both of you two are high ranking players, you should know better not to argue in the middle of debrief and instead set an example for the others". After the situation has settled I would give them both a verbal warning and if they continue I would have to take further actions such as a warn. 5. A Cadet has been complaining and wandering around because he hasn't been trained yet. He doesn't appear to have any intent to role play. What do you do? If I see a cadet free and running around I would come up to him and lead him back the cadet room and proceed to introduce myself to the user. Once finished I would put in /OOC or Comms "SGT+ to Training room or one will be chosen at random" and once a SGT comes to train the cadet I would "!administrate" to check if the cadet actually intends to RP. If the cadet begins to minge and not play properly I would "!unadministrate" and give the cadet a verbal warning and tell him that if he continues he will receive a 1 day ban, I would then "!administrate" again and watch over the training, if the cadet continues I would "!unadministrate" and say "Thats enough, I've already given you a verbal warning, you will be recieving a 1 day ban for no intent to roleplay." then do "!warn (User) NITRP [1 day ban]" and then "!ban (User) No intent to RP".

Yes I completely understand that if I am a member of the staff team and I am not performing to the Staff's set standard. I have a chance to be changed in ULX rank/ be Terminated. Situations: Key ULX Command's Offence "My Communication" 1. A user is RDMing and insulting other users. You are the only staff available to deal with the situation. What do you do? First up I would do /logs in chat to see if the User was indeed RDMing, then !administrate to be able to go to a scheduled area of the map to perform the sit, I would then do !bring (User) when I bring the User and if he is running away and Insulting me. I would !freeze (User) and !gag (User) I then would will explain to User what he had done. "Alright I have been getting reports from other players saying that you have been RDMing and Insulting other Players aswell". I would then do !ungag (User) So he can explain it, as well as his side of the story. I will also gather evidence from the players that were being insulted by the User. From that I would do !warn (User) RDMing x(Amount), Insulting other players. 2. A user has contested a warn you have given him and proceeds to verbally abuse you, what do you do? I would go to a area suitable for a sit, then do !bring (User) to bring him back into a sit. I would then ask him "Why do you think the warn I just gave you was unfair" so he can explain what the reasoning behind his annoyance was, and I would try my best to de-escalate the issue. After that I would tell him that "You can't be verbally abusing Staff so for that. I will be giving you a verbal warning" and then !return (User). But if it was more Serious verbal abuse E.G Racial Slurs, Severe Language I would've told him "You can't be disrespecting staff and from that I will be issuing you a Warn for Verbally abusing Staff" then proceed to do !warn (User) verbally abusing Staff. I would then !return (User) 3. A user has threatened to DDos and take down the server. What do you do? To start this off I would go to an isolated area on the map using !administrate, then I would bring the player threatening to DDos the server and do !bring (User). Then proceed to tell him how serious this threat is. If he continues to keep saying he'll do it, I would then proceed to !ban (User) Threatening to DDos the server 4. A Commander and Lieutenant are arguing in front of debrief. It is getting quite heated. The context to the argument is unknown to you. What do you do? If this is a RP situation I will stay back and let CG handle it as they are the Security of the base, however if this was an Proper Argument between the Two Officers I would !administrate and go to an scheduled area of the map. I will then do !bring (Commander) and !bring (Lieutenant) If they continue to argue while in the sit I will take them apart to stop it and ask them both individually what the problem is. After hearing what the argument is about I would then bring the two officers together and explain to them "You guys can't be doing this as you two are role models/High ranking officers for your regiments and this is completely out of RP". To finish it off as it is not a serious offence I would issue them both a Verbal warning. Then I would do !return (Commander) !return (Lieutenant) 5. A Cadet has been complaining and wandering around because he hasn't been trained yet. He doesn't appear to have any intent to role play. What do you do? I would do !goto (User) then !unadministrate and tell him that "You can't be running around the Base/Ship untrained. You are going to have to be trained". I would then No Clip over to the Cadet Room and !bring (User). Then proceed to put in Comms for A SGT+ to come train the cadet. however if he continually keeps running away refusing to be trained and complaining about how it is being done. I would then tell him "As you aren't complying with what a staff member has told you and you aren't showing any intent to roleplay, I will be issuing a 1 day Ban". You are the only staff available to deal with the situation. What do you do? As a Tmod I would immediately go to a secluded area and !bring <player> then I'd Physgun freeze them and contact a Mod or Snr mod to ask what I would do in this situation. If instead I was a Mod I would Do the same process !bring <Player> Then Physgun Freeze them and proceed to !warn <player> "RDM x?" and !kick <player> "RDM x?" them from the server 2.A user has contested a warn you have given him and proceeds to verbally abuse you, what do you do? If we were in the open i would !ulxadministrate to a secluded area then !bring <player> and then I would proceed to explain why I warned him and try to calm him down and level with him in the situation and then inform him that if he proceeds to verbally abuse other staff or players he would get a warn 3. A user has threatened to DDos and take down the server. What do you do? I would immediately contact an Admin or above about the situation then I would !ulxadministrate and bring him to a cut off area I would then tell him in a calm and collected tone saying "I have gotten a report saying you are threatening to take down the server/ DDos it" and then say that it is not ok to threaten to DDos the server or threaten to take it down and if they seem dumbfounded,Apologetic or remorseful saying it was just a joke i would tell them I am going to be giving them a verbal warning today because even though it may have just been a joke if it was real and i had treated it as a joke it could have had a bad effect on the server but if he proceeds with the threats even in the sit I would !ban 1 day "Threatening to DDos the server" get his STEAMID and report it to a higher up staff member to get him banned 4. What do you do? what i would do is I would !bring them both to a secluded area of the map and since they have reached the ranks of Commander and Lieutenant I would expect them to calm down once they realise they're in a sit and if not I would Split them up and get both sides of the story . After I had gotten both sides I would give them a verbal warning telling them both that they're behaviour is extremely unprofessional for their ranks to be arguing like that in front of briefing and that they should both apologise to each other and move on I would then !return them to their last position and if I do not have any other tickets or sits i would proceed to !spectate them both 5. I would Immediately !Goto <player> and tell him "Hey buddy return to the cadet room and put in comms I need a trainer" If he doesn't listen I would !ulxadministrate to a secluded area and !bring <player> him and tell if he doesn't want to bother to roleplaying or getting trained I would verbally warn him and then bring a SGT+ to the Sit and ask him kindly train this cadet and if he poses a problem and doesn't care, to report it to staff again. if a SGT+ isn't on I would begin to train him myself but if in the training of him he is mingy and not willing to listen I would proceed to !warn <player> "no intent to roleplay" and give him his final warning so then i would continue to train him but if he keeps messing around I would !kick <player> "No intent to RP" Then if he comes back and continues I would escalate the punishment to !ban 1 day "No intent to Rp" Thank you for reading my application i can't wait to hear all your feedback

And with that said i understand that not everyone can be given it, but I believe I can show the maturity, seriousness and the professionalism of a staff member when needed. And can also have a good time. I am that guy that will listen to a problem, and try to figure out a way where both parties involved agree on the outcome. I enjoy learning new things, and ULX is a newer thing to me and I believe love of learning is a great trait to have for anyone. But that means I’m also always open for constructive feedback, on how to become a better staff member and a better player in general. These qualities are what I believe a staff member should show and that I can too. Such as being helpful, always listening to what’s said, and always trying to improve not only myself, but the quality of gameplay for others too! Load up Discord, TeamSpeak them steam. Situations: Legend: Red = Command Blue = Speech Green = Name 1. A user is RDMing and insulting other users. You are the only staff available to deal with the situation. What do you do? Firstly, I would accept the ticket. From the ticket it was said that CT-2222 ‘Fred’ had been the user RDMing and insulting others. Then I would use the command /logs to see if the user had killed anyone. If the logs displayed that he did in-fact RDM another user, I would then go to an isolated part of the map. Using the command !jailtp CT-2222 ‘Fred’. I would then say “I have been given a report that you have been rdmimg and verbally insulting other users. Is this true?” Now he could either deny the report or admit that he did it. If the user did deny it I would explain to him “I have checked the logs, and yes you did kill another user. The user who made the ticket, and who you RDMed was CT-4545 ‘Jack’” I would then !bring CT-4545 ‘Jack’ And have him explain his side of the story. Once he has explained what happened to him I would say “It is clear that you have RDMed CT-4545 ‘Jack’ the logs indicate that you killed him, and he claims you did to. For that you will be receiving a warn for RDM.” Then I would !warn CT-2222 ‘Fred’ RDM | Lying to Staff. Then I would return both users using commands; !return CT-2222 ‘Fred’ and !return CT-4545 ‘Jack’ Then I would resolve the ticket. If the user had admitted to it I would explain “You may of admitted to RDMing another user, but you are still breaking server rules. So you will be receiving a warn for RDM.” Then I would use !warn CT-2222 ‘Fred’ RDM. After being warned I would !return CT-2222 ‘Fred’. I would then resolve the ticket. 2. A user has contested a warn you have given him and proceeds to verbally abuse you, what do you do? I would move myself to a isolated part of the map. For this instance lets say CT-7878 ‘Mike’ had contested a previous warn and was being verbally abusive toward me. I would then try to explain in a calm and professional tone “You were warned previously due to RDMing other users. The warn was complete fair and just, evidence was provided to support the warn. I hope you can understand that breaking rules will result in a punishment.” Once he has understood why he was warned and has calmed down I would then !return CT-7878 ‘Mike’. 3. A user has threatened to DDos and take down the server. What do you do? I would take screenshots of chat, for later evidence. Then I would contact a Senior Staff member about the user threating to DDos the server and then have them deal with the incident. If no one was available I would !ban trev 0 DDos threat. Later on I would show the evidence to Senior staff member to justify the ban. 4. A Commander and Lieutenant are arguing in front of debrief. It is getting quite heated. The context to the argument is unknown to you. What do you do? If the argument were to be In-Character I would leave it to CG as it may be roleplay. However, if it were about a OOC matter I would then find myself a isolated part of the map and then !bring Commander then !bring Lieutenant. I would explain “Both of you please calm down. I understand you are in a predicament, but this is nor the time or place to be auguring about said matter. You both are leaders of the server, and many new players look up to you as what a good trooper looks like. But this childish behavior is unacceptable especially during a debrief. I hope you both understand, I will only give you a verbal warning. I don’t want to see this happening again.” Then I would !retrun Commander then !return Lieutenant. After this I would go back to debrief and using !administrate I would briefly see if they had continued auguring. If there were no signs of argument I would then !unadministrate. 5. A Cadet has been complaining and wandering around because he hasn't been trained yet. He doesn't appear to have any intent to role play. What do you do? I would teleport them back to the training room using !bring Cadet Dave, and instruct them to remain there. I would then get a trusted trainer using !bring Aldis, to train the recruit. I would then overview the training process using !administrate and see how they act during it. Once they have been trained without any misbehavior I would briefly watch how they act and if they were to be mingey or annoying to other users. I would then !unadministrate. I've always tried my best to help other people, and staff is the next step for me. Do you believe you're able to deal with individuals and situations in a completely unbiased manner? Yes Do you use our Teamspeak server often? Always Do you understand that as a member of the Staff Team, your position may be subject to change and / or termination should you not be performing to the degree stipulated? Yes, of course. Situations: 1. A user is RDMing and insulting other users. You are the only staff available to deal with the situation. What do you do? I would first analyse the data by checking "/logs" as this would tell me if the ticket is true. Based off the information shown, I would travel to a secluded location, where I can perform a sit, then "!bring (Accuser)" and question them about it calmly. Once I'd finished hearing their side of the story before I would "!bring (Accused)" and calmly ask if they had RDM'd this player intentionally, or accidentally. Intentional: If the trooper had admitted to intentionally killing the player, out of anger/annoyance, I would close the sit by "!return (Accuser)" then proceed to check the (Accused) history of warns through "!warns". If the (Accused) had multiple intentional RDM warns, I would give them a "!warn (name) Intentional RDM, multiple warnings", if however they had no previous warnings, I would give them a firm verbal warning, saying that any further offenses will result in a warning. Unintentional: If the trooper had unintentionally killed the player, I would bring both troopers together and let them know that RDM is a warn able offense, and let them both go their own ways by saying that it was accidental. If the (Accuser) protests my decision, saying it was intentional, I'd calm them down and say that this was the final verdict, as not enough evidence can be provided. 2. A user has contested a warn you have given him and proceeds to verbally abuse you, what do you do? If the trooper was contesting a warn to me, through chat, I would "!bring (Name)" to a secluded location, and tell them that this won't be tolerated. I would calmly ask that if they have any issues with the staff team, to keep it away from other troopers and take it to either the staff member, or the head admin. I would also tell them politely that any form of harassment towards staff is completely unacceptable. If the trooper proceeded to disrespect me, despite my warning, I would take action, "!bring (Name)" staff disrespect is completely unacceptable and is a rule on the server. If at any point the trooper was refusing to cooperate, I'd end the sit and give them another "!warn (name) extreme staff disrespect". If the player continued to argue against my decision and was making a scene, I would "!kick (Name)". If the abused continued, I would give them a final "!warn (name) extreme staff disrespect" and then "!ban (Name) 30m Staff disrespect". 3. A user has threatened to DDos and take down the server. What do you do? If I was the only staff member on and a T-Mod, I would straight away "!kick (Name)" and forward all evidence (screenshots/video) to a senior staff member to deal with ASAP. EDIT: Given my powers, if I was able to remove the player for a longer period, I would "!ban (Name) 0 DDoS threats" and forward the evidence to a senior staff member in case they wish to review or protest my decision. 4. A Commander and Lieutenant are arguing in front of debrief. It is getting quite heated. The context to the argument is unknown to you. What do you do? I would begin by giving the troopers a heads up that they are the leaders of the server, and arguing in a briefing is one of the worst places they should be acting up. If CG doesn't deal with it, I would "!bring (Commander )" "!bring (Lieutenant)" to a secluded location, then proceed with a normal staff sit. I would calm both troopers down, get enough information from them to create a decision. Standard sit procedure, I would remain calm and unbiased in the situation and make sure that the situation is resolved and I'd done my job before "!return (Commander )" "!return (Lieutenant)". 5. A Cadet has been complaining and wandering around because he hasn't been trained yet. He doesn't appear to have any intent to role play. What do you do? I would begin by scrolling through chat, making sure that I was sure of the cadets actions. Once I had decided, I would "!goto (Cadet)" and ask them why they had been running around the base, if they gave me a smart-arse response, I would know that they had no intent to role play. I would then take them to the cadet training room, and not react to their attempts to muck around. I would train the cadet and then politely let them know that we take role play very seriously, and how they acted prior to the training was unacceptable. I would tell them that they should not attempt to bring down another players time on the server and ruin the game for them. If they were compliant with my orders, I would ask for a SGT+ to head to the cadet room, or choose one from random. I would repeat the same thing for all the people he killed to see if any of them were killed with reason, and then !warn {RDM'ing user} RDM/Mass RDM x (Amount of People he RDM'ed. If he RDMed more than 2 people in a row I would also !warn [RDM'ing User] Mass RDM). Alternate Scenarios/Variables If the player was reacting negatively (screaming, shouting, racial slurs/If he used a racial slur I would proceed to !warn {USER} Racial Slur), I would !gag {USER} so they don't disrupt the sit and hurdle abuse. I would also check to see that players warns to see if he was a repeat offender (multiple warns for RDM). If it was the first time, I would proceed with the green actions, but if he were a repeat offender (3-4+) times I would temporarily ban the user for 3 days to 1 week using !ban [USER] [TIME] RDM'ing. If he had over 5-6 warns for RDM (in a short amount of time), I would proceed to permanently ban the user (!ban [USER] 0 Constant RDM) as he would obviously not be here to roleplay and instead be on the server to minge. (In perspective, I would rarely take this action and would mostly do it against brand new Shiny's who just joined the server to minge and FailRP. I would then !bring [Players] the players that confronted me about this player and hear out their perspective and to see what he was doing. If they said he was RDM'ing and he gave a false reason to kill them, I would proceed to !warn [OFFENDER] RDM x (the number of times he RDM'ed) and attempt to diffuse the Climb SWEP Abuse situation. If the user was indeed Climb SWEP Abusing, I would proceed to !warn [OFFENDER] Climb SWEP Abuse once. Alternate Scenarios If the user said he did RDM and Climb SWEP Abuse and the !logs showed the same amount of times he killed users as he said, then I would !warn [OFFENDER] RDM x (Number of Times) and also !warn [OFFENDER] Climb SWEP Abuse. If the player was using racial slurs/being racist in general, I would !warn [OFFENDER] Racism and !gag [OFFENDER]. I would also check the amount of !warns [OFFENDER] has, as he could have Multiple warns for RDM. If he had over 5-6 warns for RDM/Mass RDM in a short time, I would proceed to permanently !ban [OFFENDER] 0 Multiple Warns for RDM. (In perspective, I would rarely take this action and would mostly do it against brand new Shiny's who just joined the server to minge and FailRP. I would also take a screenshot if he put it in chat or use Shadow play to record it and have evidence to show if a higher staff member asks about the situation. I would proceed with this action in case the player is serious, which most of the time, they're not but, imagine if they were. Also, I don't think there would be any Alternate Scenarios for this. 4. I would then proceed to !bring [Both Commanders] after debreif to the top of the base to them how utterly second-rate they were behaving and make sure the know what the did was unnacceptable from a person of their caliber and remind them that their actions have an effect on the actions of their troopers, and other troopers as well. After explaining this to the Commanders, I would hear out both arguments to diffuse the situation so it doesn't continue on into Discord and Teamspeak and so it doesn't continue in game, in front of their troops. Alternate Scenarios If they continued to argue in front of others after being warned not to multiple times, I would proceed to !warn [Both of the Commanders] Ignoring Staff and !warn [Both Commanders] Arguing in front of debrief or proceed to !ban [Commanders] [time] Continued Arguing + Ingoring Staff (Dependant on Warn History) and notify a higher staff member or an in-game higher member. On the basis they don't do it ever again, this action would not have to be taken. If they continue to argue outside of the server, there wouldn't be much I could do, as I don't control the situation in Discord or Teamspeak. 5. Whilst enjoyable I found the recent events shorter and more compact on average. I would like to bring back some of the old linked Galactic Campaign style events which have dynamic stories influenced by the success/failure of players. Do you understand that most events rely mainly on improvisation and mainly nothing goes to plan (ever)?: Almost every single one of my events were improvised. Campaigns were given more time and planning for macro planning but not the details. How confident are you in providing briefings, debriefings, and in ensuring you're able to direct players throughout your events?: Confidence? Like gen 6 ARC ego? Nah jokes I'm not Sevens aylmao I am confident in my ability to improvise speeches and announcements spontaneously. Scenarios: 1. An event doesn't go to plan and General Grievous is crushed by an elevator. Players are laughing at you. What do you do? Funny/non-serious thing happen all the time, at the end of the day its gmod. I would laugh along and either ooc as if it didnt happen or adapt the event quickly to iron it out. In my experience players don't mind working with it as long as it is within reason. 2. A user is bad mouthing your events. How do you react? I speak to them and listen to any constructive feedback which I could learn from. Even a long time HEM has room for improvement. 3. You have to go AFK in the middle of an event you are running and there are no backups available. What should you have done to avoid this? In the extremely unlikely situation, I would announce the transition for trusted players/staff to wrap up the event. Even without staff assistance players can often continue rp as they wish with guidance of higher ups. 4. Players and a few staff members are complaining about the amount of lag they're dealing with during your event. How do you resolve this? Choose well optimised maps and design the flow of the event to match the player pop. Correct spawn rates and event design is the key to minimal lag and a more enjoyable experience. To conclude your app. you are required to create and design your own event. This includes planets, maps and stage actions. Include lots of detail in your event design. You are required to involve PassiveRP elements. Map: gm_lunarbase Intel suggests CIS presence in the Gaulus sector, Republic forces are sent to investigate and recon for any signs of the enemy. Objectives include data retrieval and before emergency extraction. Upon arrival the CIS spring an ambush upon our forces. They must push through and complete the data extraction before evacuating out. Setup: 2 Commando Droid Event Jobs will have ~500hp and 3 lives, choosing players known to be able to play smart and efficiently. CIS attack will consist of MTTs and AATs. Improvisation is a key element in responding to player RP without forcing outcomes, I prefer to keep my events free and up to the players. EDIT: Here a more detailed example on how we could follow up on the first event. Map: gm_spoon With the new intelligence gathered from the Lunar outpost, Republic forces divert to assault a concealed CIS stronghold. The main force will be divided into 2 primary groups. - Alpha: The main infantry force and Jedi detachment. - Bravo: Reconnaissance and engineering specialists. All forces will be advised that their primary objective is to destroy the stronghold and neutralise all enemy forces. EM created forcefields will be accompanied by terminals for players to RP their way through. This is at the players discretion on solving the problem. Bravo will be tasked with initial recon and positioned in a concealed flank. Alpha will be the primary fighting force and the diversionary team while Bravo sabotages key systems of the stronghold. This will include planting charges, disabling defences etc. If the Republic does not make enough progress fast, CIS will counter attacks will escalate and stall their efforts. If the assault draws out too long, over 15 minutes. It will be considered a CIS victory and Republic Forces will be forces to withdraw. Misc. notes: Those who remember my events will recall the marked carpet bombs and marking of orbital support platforms. To explain, Commanding officers would create a mark (rope etc) to call in support which may be available (different for each mission). Enemy carpet bombs are marked and announced to give players paying attention time to reposition.

Your In game name: Cuffs Your steam id: STEAM_0:0:69274711 Who banned you: Ajax Length of ban: 2 Days Reason for ban: Abuse, FailRP, No Intent to RP why we should unban you: This ban appeal is not as much of an 'Appeal' as it is bringing to light that all Staff should atlest attempt to keep staff sit's fair and listen to both sides. This is also stated as my ban appeal however since my situation is Identical to Rambo's you should consider it as both of our apeals I'll start by giving you a rundown of the situation, Myself and Rambo were held up in R-Sec with whom we suspected to have knocked out General Skywalker, we put this CG trooper in a cell(No a big problem as moments before I saw a CG trooper turn on CG to break our Visla). During the situation, I waited outside for a CG trooper to come so I could alert them of the situation, CG came and I was placed in a Cell. CG did not listen to me at all, and let out the trooper who we suspected as the one who knocked out the general). Rambo killed a CG trooper who pulled a gun on him(Bad call on his part but whatever) CG arrested him and I attempted to pacify the trooper who had him in Cuffs', at which I was abruptly gunned down. After the situation had ended, I was teleported to the top of the ship by Ajax. I gave my side of the event during which I was interrupted multiple times with what Ajax 'Supposively' Saw. I should point out that throughout the entire period of the admin sit, Ajax was speaking in a very condescending tone which had come off as hostile, at which bringing his tone up with him he became even more condescending.(Not very staff like, I should know.) During the situation, he referred a lot to what he 'saw' which I should add was the very final stages of the situation. Stating that Rambo killed a trooper and that I 'Attempted' to RDM a CG officer(Logs were checked and it was confirmed that I never fired my blaster) which he was blatantly lying about(intentionally or not, its still a lie). He then went and spoke with another trooper and admin about the situation. I secretly listened in on the conversation and what the trooper stated was genuine and true for the most part and the trooper also admitted that he FailRP'ed.I was then TP'ed away and jailed so I couldn't listen(not a good idea to separate both parties as now communication of stories solely relied on Ajax who was not even there to witness the situation from the beginning.) Upon being jailed, Rambo and I sat there for 20 minutes no idea what they were talking about and were unable to interject and correct anything that was said, I should state that at this time it was 2 Admins that were speaking and the player that was apart of the situation was not present, Whilst these two discussed it, I can accurately assume they were discussing what happened. After telling myself and Rambo we would be warned for FailRP, I asked why and he attempted to explain why but contradicted himself every second sentence stating that Noc(the EM for the event) saw it all, my question to Ajax was if Noc was there for the full conflict, then A. Who was running the event and roleplay? and B. Why didn't Noc interject if it was FailRP?. Both of these questions were deflected by Ajax in the situation and it had eventually become clear that Ajax had no intention of listening to our side of the story and was going to warn us regardless. Upon arguing the warning multiple times and him avoiding answering any question I presented him, I eventually said that this situation could have been completely avoided if he had allowed the valid roleplay situation to play out, He warned us and tped us back into the ship, 5 minutes later myself and Rambo recived a 2 Day ban for "Abuse, FailRP, No Intent to RP" So let's argue the ban now. Id also likes to state that I received a warning, and was never told I was to banned which makes no sense as it appeared out of nowhere with no context and no warning. Abuse: I'm not sure what he is referring to here, I did make one statement after he told me to shut up to which I replied with "Sorry Father" which was a Jab reffering to the fact that he is a Father. However, I should also state that if this is considered abuse, why is it that he has also taken multiple jabs at me in Teamspeak and gone without punishment? If he can diss others but can't take it, why is he in the role of admin or senior mod or whatever. FailRP: I stated above how I feel as though the situation was not FailRP so no much needs to be said on this point. No intent to RP: If this is true, why is it I have spent the last 3 days attempting to get back into the server and partaking in roleplay for multiple events and attempting to join 327th?. Arguments could be made here as to some of the stuff I like to do on the server that could be considered mingeing, however, I generally try to make sure that it does not affect the general player base. But I genuinely for the first time in months was enjoying the server and have attempted to get back into playing it, however this whole situation with the way Ajax has left a bad taste in my mouth considering I had such fond memories of the server, and as an ex Staff member I know for sure that situation should have been handled a lot better. I have no doubt that Ajax will have his own story that he will want to express, in which I have no issue with him expressing, however I will have no issue correcting anything that I consider as false. NPC no target: This tool stops NPCs targeting you, overall making it look cleaner. Advanced Duplicator 2: This tool is good for placing pre built dupes and building in a small amount of time. Are you aware of how much a Gmod server can take or how unstable Gmod truly is?: I am aware that numerous amounts of lose props, blood stains, vehicles and ropes can crash the server, I have experienced it first hand on other smaller servers. Gmod is a fairly old game so it’s a given that overloading it’s servers with stuff kills said server. Do you understand that you are not allowed to abuse your ULX rank outside of events? Provide 3 examples detailing different situations that would be considered abuse: Spawning battle droids or other NPCs when not running an event. Giving people items, weapons or remodeling them for no reason. Abusing commands such as !bring or !slay etc. Do you have any event experience? e.g. played a key character in an event before: To be honest, I have very minimal experience playing an event character or being an event master, although I have played minor EC characters before such as battle droids etc. On a scale of 1-10, how much lore knowledge do you have?: 8-9 On a scale of 1-10, how familiar are you with ulx commands?: 4-5 Make a comment regarding the recent events on our server and how they have inspired you to become an event master: I have really enjoyed the recent events and it looks like it is a fun thing to do, so I wanted to give it a go. Do you understand that most events rely mainly on improvisation and mainly nothing goes to plan (ever)?: Yes, as Gmod is a game, it can not always go 100% to plan due to a variety of reasons, so Improvisation is que to making a great event. How confident are you in providing briefings, debriefings, and in ensuring you're able to direct players throughout your events?: I am relatively confident that I will be able to give good and direct briefings/debriefings etc. Scenarios: 1. An event doesn't go to plan and General Grievous is crushed by an elevator. Players are laughing at you. What do you do? I would just bring him back and continue as normal, and ignore the players laughter etc. 2. A user is bad mouthing your events. How do you react? I would PM him seeing if he actually has legitimate criticism and is willing to talk about it with me maturely if he's is just trying to be a minge I would just ignore his criticism and continue. 3. You have to go AFK in the middle of an event you are running and there are no backups available. What should you have done to avoid this? I would've either made sure someone could cover for me or just not book the event in the first place if I knew it could’ve been interrupted by something 4. Players and a few staff members are complaining about the amount of lag they're dealing with during your event. How do you resolve this? I would reduce the amount of entities, props and NPC’s being spawned, and make sure all props are frozen in place. To conclude your app. you are required to create and design your own event. This includes planets, maps and stage actions. Include lots of detail in your event design. You are required to involve PassiveRP elements. Map: event_outpost-b1 Summary: The Republic have lost contact with a vital FOB which held crucial information about CIS troop movements in the outer-rim, the republic dispatch troops to investigate what happened to the crew of the base, and to retrieve the crucial piece of data. When the republic forces land, they discover that a large band of pirates are behind the attack on the FOB. Once the republic push through the pirates forces and re-capture the FOB, (It can go one of two ways here, depending on how quick and detailed the RP is) they discover that the pirates are aligned with the CIS, the CIS then proceed to ambush republic forces and bombard FOB with Munificents, destroying the vital piece of data along with it. (Or the republic forces manage to secure the data, but everything else is the same) The republic forces then must retreat to the landing pad and must hold the line until Evac arrives a few minutes later. Briefing: Good afternoon/evening troopers, the reason why you are here today is due to the fact that we have lost contact with a FOB that held vital data that could help us win the war, unfortunately they were unable to transfer the data over to us before we lost contact, so troopers, your mission is to go down, re-capture the FOB and retrieve the vital data. Currently we do not know for sure who or what attacked the FOB, so be weary. Phase 1: The Offence After spawning, troopers would begin moving towards the location of the FOB (and data), while they enroute they will encounter a moderate amount of pirate resistance in the few routes the troopers can take. Once the troopers reach the FOB they will assault it and re-capture it from the pirates, (depending on the RP and Improv, they will either retrieve the data or fail to retrieve the data) After the following, droid droppods and Munificents will come into view, the Munificents would start to bombard the FOB and the droids will surround it. Phase 2: The Defence Once on the retreat, the troopers will encounter B1, B2 battledroids and commando droids deployed via drop pods and the droids will eventually push them back to the original landing pad/spawn, the troopers will hold the landing pad until Evac finally arrives. Debrief: Congratulations troopers, you survived, that ambush could’ve been quite destructive to you, but you managed to hold the line until Evac arrived, well done! (The next part of the debrief would be based around the fact of if they managed to retrieve the data or not) Well now that is out of the way, let’s move onto placements (Obviously placements would be listed, then the troopers would be dismissed.) Have you participated in many of our Events?: Since I started playing on the server I have tried my best to attend to all 3 events every day. Duplicator: this is used to duplicate props that you have made in the past. This will assist when quickly setting up an event, if you have set it up in a single-player game. Teleporter: This is used to get Troopers to where you might be setting up the event from spawn, as some spawn points might be really far away from the event. It just helps keep the events momentum rolling as troopers wont have to walk across a whole map just to get to the event. Are you aware of how much a Gmod server can take or how unstable Gmod truly is?: I am very aware as to how much a Gmod server can handle, I understand that spawning in to many NPC’s or props could cause the server to crash & with that knowledge would aim to spawn in only what I need to make the event enjoyable for the players. Make a comment regarding the recent events on our server and how they have inspired you to become an event master: Over the past week & a half I have started playing as an EC seeing how the EM runs the events seemed very fun and very inspiring, while sitting in TS or discord with the EM and watching how they ran the events I decided that I wanted to apply for EM. Mainly because I think that I can make fun events for the players to enjoy and would feel proud to do so. Do you understand that most events rely mainly on improvisation and mainly nothing goes to plan (ever)?: When I play an EC I have noticed how the EM doesn’t have much control over what the clones can and can’t do. He can give them orders but a few clones seem to ignore those orders and do their own thing. I understand how the EM must improvise and I have seen how some EM’s have improvised with events when things don’t go to plan. How confident are you in providing briefings, debriefings, and in ensuring you're able to direct players throughout your events?: I feel I will start off being moderately confident and will aim to improve during briefings and debriefings, throughout events I feel I am confident in giving them orders and directing them through events. Scenarios: 1. An event doesn't go to plan and General Grievous is crushed by an elevator. Players are laughing at you. What do you do? I would say something like “Troopers, it seems that "General Grievous" that was crushed by the elevator was only an advanced magna guard made to look like grievous and distract you while he went for the real target” then I would respawn grievous in an isolated location and reset his HP. Then I would keep the event rolling by saying “Grievous has been spotted in (location) don’t let him get to (Objective)” 2. A user is bad mouthing your events. How do you react? I would read what he is saying, take note of it. Then later on after the event I would ask him and others if there is any feedback he could give me that could improve my future events. I wouldn’t be hurt by what he is saying at all because everyone has their own opinion and others opinions could help me better my future events 3. You have to go AFK in the middle of an event you are running and there are no backups available. What should you have done to avoid this? I should have informed other EM’s about me not being able to get on for the entire event and asked if one could possibly assist me, and if they couldn’t help me I would just go to backup EM’s or an admin and explain the problem before getting into a situation midway through the event. Another thing i could have done is made the event a shorter event and apologize to all players before i leave about the shorter event. 4. Players and a few staff members are complaining about the amount of lag they're dealing with during your event. How do you resolve this? I would try to delete any props that aren’t needed, and then I would go around and ask a few trusted players if they want to swap out to an EC for me to assist with the fighting of the troopers the main reason I would ask this is so that I wouldn’t have to spawn as many NPC’s and can keep the event rolling trying to minimalize lag To conclude your app. you are required to create and design your own event. This includes planets, maps and stage actions. Include lots of detail in your event design. You are required to involve PassiveRP elements. Operation Bright Sky: Map: gm_emp_coast Planet: Akiva Briefing: *call briefing the appropriate amount of times* *setup the transport* *start briefing* “Okay hello troopers, I have got some orders for you all. We have been told that we are to land on the planet of Akiva on a beachfront, push up the beachfront then into a canyon. Inside the canyon is a cave system with a few stranded civilians that have been hiding there since the CIA attacked them we are to escort the medics to these civilians so that the medics can assist them, we have also been given a create of food which will be delivered in a LAAT once we have secured the Path to the cave systems. Let’s go troopers lets go board the LAAT’s” *LAAT’s take off* *Jedi Ships after* *thirdly a LAAT with medical supplies* ( this one will be all but empty not including the pilot) *Load (gm_emp_coast)* Setup: *sets player spawns to beachfront* *Spawns dupe’s in to make it look like a battle field* *will get trusted players to play as EC Civilians for the event * *If no 717th are online will ask for someone trusted to become an EC medic* Planet-side briefing: “Okay Troopers, welcome to the planet of Akiva, you know the mission make sure those medic’s make it to the caves, once you are there I need you to set-up a perimeter at both cave entrances. Once you have secured the cave’s we will be sending in a LAAT filled with food and medical supplies. Make sure that gets to the civilians, Good luck Troopers.” (will give any players their jetpacks and other such needs if they don’t already have it) Phase 1 Making it to the cave: Along the way to the cave there will be many B1’s that are searching for the remaining civilians. Once the troopers engage with said droids the CIS will know that the republic are there and will start sending down drop pods, troopers must fight their way to the caves while protecting the medics. *Spawns some B1’s around the map just after briefing* *spawns in dropod’s once engaged then spawns in more B1’s and B2’s for the troopers to fight* *once they make it to the cave spawn a large force of droids outside the cave for the troopers to kill while the medics attend to the civilians* *overwatched the Medic’s doing medical RP on the civilians to make sure everything goes alright* *Inform the troopers that the LAAT carrying the food is on it way* *Inform the troopers that the LAAT carrying the food has been shot down and crashed back on the beach front then ask the commando’s/ a small group to go fetch the food* *Spawns in a downed LAAT at the beachfront & a few crates next to the LAAT* Phase 2 Getting the Food: While everyone defends the cave, a small squad will go to fetch the food where I will setup a small number of droids (just enough to make it an event fight for a squad of 4-7 people) *spawns more droids along the path to the crates and ontop of the crates* While they are doing that I’m making sure to keep the troopers back at the caves busy with droids ( making sure to not spawn to many in as to keep the server from lagging) *spawns in a small number of BX's along with more B1's & B2's* As the small group makes it to the LAAT there will be a few carriable boxes which will be the food, they will carry this back to the cave and make it past the droids out the front of the cave to get the food to the civilians. *spawns more droids along the path to the caves so the small squad has to fight their way back* I will then use the Voice Amp tool to tell all troopers that we have new orders: “Troopers, new orders. We are to evacuate these civilians to the LAAT’s and take them with us to make sure they’re all okay and to find them a new place to call home as this clearly isn’t safe for them Get them to the beach!” Phase 3 Evacuating the Civilians: *spawns more B1 & B2 droids while the troopers escort the civilians back to the LAAT’s for Evacuation on the Beach front.* Troopers are to run the way they came back to the LAAT's *spawns in LAAT’s on beachfront before the troopers get into sight of it* Once arrived at the LAAT's defensive regiments will be expected to defend the LZ untill everyone else is boarded as more droids will be firing on them while they are boarding. *once they get to the LAAT’s say* “Get out of here pilots all civilians are boarded up” * once pilots take off change the map* Debriefing: *calls all available medics to watch over the civilians inside of med bay* (if the EC civilians still want to RP as Civilians if not skip this) *calls all to debriefing (except the medics in medbay)* *once all at debriefing would start* “Hello all, good job down there. You managed to get the food & the medics to the civilians. My original reply to Tacos feedback wasn't out of hate it was because I was annoyed at people saying I left when I never left it was due to me not being able to actually join. Also considering I have staffed on another gateway server in the past under graves and I was always looking after the server. Since it's been a few weeks and as some have told me that I have changed a bit I personally want to know if I have improved or not. I am mainly updating this because of raiders recent leave and I know more tmods are needed. We've recieved a distress signal from a crashed Republic Venator, It was engaged in combat with the CIS and barely managed to escape. What do you do? If the staff member is unwilling not complying then i can't really do much at all. I will try to contact senior/head admin or not the administrator whenever they are on. I will also explain in details of what the staff being doing and what the players on the server reacted to the RDM. 2. You slay someone for RDM and he abuses you for it. The player then goes on an RDM spree, when you JailTP him he apologizes trying to be forgiven. What do you do? I would accept the apologise from the player, but I would also do in chat !warn and tell the player that in the future, if they keep on doing this that it will result of either a warn, kick or a ban depending on the situation at hand. 3. There is a player on the server who is new to star wars role play. He doesn't know how to play the game and is caught 20 minutes after being white listed being accused of RDMing during an event. He doesn't know that shooting at fellow clones is a ban-able offence. What do you do? To be Honest, I have never done this situation before, so I would to be honest here. I would mostly bring them to a quiet area (or a sit) and !bring (user) and explain to them that as a Clone trooper and in a RP server like ours, we do not tolerant RDM and that the number 1 rule is not to shoot others. They would most likely to say sorry or apologise and i would send them back to the event. But if they continue to do it again, I would !bring (user) and tell them that do you listen of what I said, while this I would open chat and type in !warm and warning them for RDM. 4. You are on the forums and you notice a user being harassed by others in the shoutbox and in threads. What do you do? I would definitely contact a forum Admin to deal with the situation and if that user is in game, I would basically tell them to do this private or don't do it at all. If it's in the shoutbox i would try to calm the user or both of them down and to tell them that this can't be acceptable and to take it elsewhere. 5. If there are a few users began saying "THIS SERVER SUCKS!" and spamming it everywhere, what would you do? First, I would do !mute (user(s)) and !gag (user(s) depending on how they are spamming. Through joining CG/Shock/5th i have already been attempting to help the community however i believe that giving me moderator permissions will allow me to do this job in a more professional and overall better manner. Do you use our Teamspeak server often? Yes, i am constantly on Teamspeak, i might not be talking or i might be idle but i am always available is anyone needs to talk to me or converse with me. Situations: 1. A user is RDMing and Insulting other users. You are the only staff available to deal with the situation. What do you do? I would immediately !jailtp [user] and proceed to question the user about why they are RDMing and insulting other users. Once the user has explained their reason i would then proceed to explain to the user that he/she is going to be warned (!warn [user] {RDM, disrespecting players}) If the user then continues this unacceptable behaviour regardless of what it may be i would proceed to !warn [user] {reason} again and if need be, i would proceed to !ban [user] {2d} {RDM, disrespecting players, failure to comply with staff} the user. 2. A group of users have confronted you and explain how another user was breaking some server rules earlier (RDMing and Climb Swep abusing). The users threaten that they want immediate action otherwise they will leave the server. What do you do? I would immediately !bring [user] the users separately to a secluded area and question them each according to the situation as well as asking the users to each tell me their side of the story. I would then request evidence such as recordings or other possible witnesses. After the users have provided their sides of the story and given evidence i would !return @/[user] putting them back to their positions before i brought them to me and !bring [user] the suspect to a secluded area also asking for the suspects side of the story and ask for any evidence of his innocence, using the information I've been given i would determine the users outcome of either: -They are indeed the culprit and are breaking the server rules I would !bring [user] to the secluded area if they are not already there for what ever reason and explain that they will be warned > !warn [user] {reason} and that if they were to continue the unacceptable behaviour they would be receiving a ban > !ban [user] 1d {Repeatedly breaking server rules and failing to comply with staff} -The suspect is being framed I would !bring [user] the group of users attempting to frame the suspect and issue warnings > !warn [user] {Attempted framing of another player, Lying to staff} and i would proceed to ensure they are not attempting to frame another player by following and watching them for a period of time -Insufficient evidence was provided In this case I would !bring [user] the group of users and the suspect involved and i would give them verbal warnings explaining that insufficient evidence was provided. 3. A user has threatened to Ddos and take down the server. What do you do? I would immediately permaban > !ban [user] 0 {Threatening to DDoS the server} any user threatening to DDoS the server and would report the incident to a senior member of staff as soon as possible. 4. A Commander and Lieutenant are arguing in front of debrief. It is getting quite heated. The context to the argument is unknown to you. What do you do? The first course of action i would take would be to determine whether the arguing is in RP or out of character. If the arguing was in character and was in fact RP i would let them continue however if the argument was taking place out of character i would !bring [user] both the users to a secluded area and i would ask that they stop arguing. I would then proceed to ask that they take the argument to anywhere but in-game and !return @/[user] the users to debrief and if they were to continue the argument or even start a new one in-game i would issue both of them a warning > !warn [user] {Failure to comply with staff, Fail RP} 5. A CR has been complaining and wondering around because he hasn't been trained yet. He seems like a minge to you and you're not sure if he is really here to play. What do you do? I would first tell the cadet that i am going to get a trainer for him then proceed to ask in advert > /advert [Comms] SGT+ to the training room please < and ask the cadet to wait for a trainer to come and train him, if no trainer comes i would !goto [user] a user that is SGT+ and ask him to train the cadet and bring the SGT+ to the training room to train the cadet. While the trainer is training the cadet i would continue to watch the cadet as he is being trained making sure that i am clearly hidden or that the cadet does not notice me. -Cadet is clearly here to minge and has no intent to RP In this circumstance i would attempt training the cadet my self and if the player is still not listening and is clearly minging i would !kick [user] {No intent to RP} -Cadet is not here to minge and is clearly new to SWRP or is genuinely mad that there is no one training him I would Continue to watch the cadet through the whole training once again ensuring that i am not spotted by the cadet making sure that this is in fact the case and would allow the cadet to be on his/her way once training is complete. Should they continue to insult other users/RDM, I would then proceed to !ban [name] [time] [reason]. 2. A group of users have confronted you and explain how another user was breaking some server rules earlier (RDMing and Climb Swep abusing). If sufficient evidence is provided that shows that the accused user was indeed breaking the rules, I would !tp [name] to a secluded area of the map and explain that what they were doing was wrong and against the rules, from there I would !warn [name] Climb Swep Abuse / RDM. Should the user continue to break server rules, it would result in a short ban. In the event that the reporting users, do not have any evidence, I would check the server logs to find any details of the accused user RDMing people, If nothing was to be found, I would explain that I cannot do much without evidence of them breaking server rules. 3. A user has threatened to Ddos and take down the server. What do you do? I would start by !tp [name] to the top of the ship and have a discussion as to why they would threaten to DDOS the server, explaining that whether it was a joke or not, a DDOS threat is not taken lightly and that they would have to face consequences for such, the user would get a ban for a short period of time if it was meant as a joke whereas if it was serious, I would !ban [name] 0 DDOS Threat and report to the senior/executive staff. 4. A Commander and Lieutenant are arguing infront of debrief. It is getting quite heated. The context to the argument is unknown to you. What do you do? I would !tp both users to an isolated part of the map and discuss the situation with both of them, from there I would explain that what they were doing is not acceptable and that they are supposed to be role models on the server being high ranking people. Once the argument had been resolved, I would !return both users back to debrief for them to continue playing. 5. A CR has been complaining and wondering around because he hasn't been trained yet. He seems like a minge to you and you're not sure if he is really here to play. What do you do? In this situation I would !tp [name] back to the training room and explain that they need to wait for a SGT+ to get here, Once a suitable person to train the cadet had arrived, I would !cloak ^ and watch over the training, if the cadet continues to minge I would verbally warn them. Should the cadet continue to minge, it would result in a !kick [name] No intent to RP or !ban [name] [time] No intent to RP if they were to come back and continue.

Your In game name: 3883 Pope Your steam id: STEAM_0:0:90421027 Who banned you: A-36 'Hangman' (Dan) Reason for ban: No intent to be trained/rp after many warnings why we should unban you: ( 1 Paragraph minimum ) I got banned by Hangman because he was abusing. I was minging at the start not gonna even lie the he gives me a warning saying if your not careful I will have to give you a 30 min vacations and me minging for the time I said I was the owner as a joke. After A little while he gives me another warning saying the same thing but I minged for like 2 mins more then get this. Then I got a gun (pistol) and I thought the train gave it to me but then I got a rocket laucher. Now the rocket launcher could shoot 4 at a time and I was like ooooo he he he but then I said I won't because I want to get trained. But then I got stripped from all my weapons and thought my game was broken but that was not true is was an admin abusing because then I got a rocket launcher again and trying to switch off it by clicking I fire a rocket launcher and get banned.
