We've managed to take care of it and return to another planet. Keeping contained. But with this said, it... It just woke up too soon, too quick. That Beast destoryed everything! The Opertaion Center! The Medbay! Everything! Beast has escape, roaming on this planet. We expect it to produce more of her kind... Now, we've send in a Republic Squad known as Dark Squad. Squad Leader was recording at the time at the planet. We've managed to collect the recording of it... [Standby...] [Loading...] [Loading Video File "Dark Squad Leader - 48"] We.. I... *Sigh* We've managed to located a source to this problem... Captain Andy... He was the Advisor with the Mission related to the Beast. He went insane in the end, however we've managed to locate the data sources. We've the other pieces but with that data sources. We may be able to clean this planet. Questions: How will you bring new and creative event ideas to the server?: I think i would do new events considering i like to be different to others. Have you participated in many of our Events?: Yes many over the months i have been on GG. Are you familiar with Gmod's wide range of NPC tools?: I know most the the standard gmod NPC tools and their uses. Name 3 tools that are at an Event Masters disposal within events and leave a small comment detailing each of their uses: NPC Health: This allows you to set the amount of health your NPC have. NPC Proficiency: This allows you to make the NPCs targeting better or worse. NPC Gun Swapping: This will allows you to spawn a NPC with a different Gun Considering they naturally spawn with nothing . !model : To model a a Event Character for the event Basic Q menu to give guns or spawn entities and and ships Are you aware of how much a Gmod server can take or how unstable Gmod truly is?: Yes, i have witness this in the past and recently events can get very laggy if to many Entities are spawned or Custom event Dupes are too big can crash a server instantly. Taking Tickets that are not relevant to Events Do you have any event experience? e.g. played a key character in an event before: Yes, I have played as many as a droids and even a sith On a scale of 1-10, how much lore knowledge do you have?: 6 On a scale of 1-10, how familiar are you with ulx commands?: 7 Make a comment regarding the recent events on our server and how they have inspired you to become an event master: Recently i've seen drop in event staff and i have always wanted to become apart of the EM team, So this made me make my application Do you understand that most events rely mainly on improvisation and mainly nothing goes to plan (ever)?: Events that occur with a script would be boring and simple, Where if you had random event that happen it would make events more exciting. How confident are you in providing briefings, debriefings, and in ensuring you're able to direct players throughout your events?: I have been a in a High position in a naval position on another server which i had control over the whole server and i've been in many high ranking positions before on other servers and this server once. Scenarios: 1. An event doesn't go to plan and General Grievous is crushed by an elevator. Players are laughing at you. What do you do? I would use the PA voice and ask where General Grievous went and if they said he was crushed i would say impossible and get the troopers to check the vents in the building to see where he is, and bring him back somewhere else or make it that he escaped. Considering General Grievous is a lore character and cannot be killed or captured 2. A user is bad mouthing your events. How do you react? Take the Criticism and move on with the event as one or a group of people shouldn’t make a difference to an event 3. You have to go AFK in the middle of an event you are running and there are no backups available. What should you have done to avoid this? If there are no Backup EMs, I would ask the Moderator Team to Help before the event started. 4. Players and a few staff members are complaining about the amount of lag they're dealing with during your event. How do you resolve this? I would start spawning is let droids and improvise the end the event sooner that expected as if it was getting unplayable the event would not be fun. To conclude your app. you are required to create and design your own event. This includes planets, maps and stage actions. Include lots of detail in your event design. You are required to involve PassiveRP elements. EVENT Map : gm_bigisland Jedi Hunter Event 6:30 !orders Troopers Report to Mission Briefing for our next Mission Briefing Troopers we recently received a report that the CIS have set up a base on AHCH-TO and are currently over running our defences on another island close by. Our mission is to stop them from over running the island and kick the CIS off the planet. (While this is happening i would get someone to help me spawn in the LAATS while i’m briefing or spawn them in before i start briefing) Set up the map to have an area with a teleporter leading in to the drop of the cave where 3 Event Characters will be Looking as Jedi Hunters and their objectives is to kill any Jedi they see, Also there will be guard towers with 2 other ECs as sniper droids around the main base. Briefing on Planet Troopers your task is to take out the CIS and Infiltrate their base and blow up their supplies, But there is a force field surrounding the base, troopers I’ve scanned the area and I've seen some activity underground i believe they are hiding their generators in a cave system, troopers look around for a Cave entrance. (The map will be blocked off areas by walls that the troopers are not meant to go) As the troopers set out B1 and B2 Droids will be spawned to slow them from rushing the event, will ask for 1 or more people to help with Spawning. The troopers 1st task will be to find this cave and eliminate any CIS and find the generators. Once in the cave troopers will begin to move thought out the cave and find a generators to shut down the shields surrounding the base their will be 3 generators they will have to shut down by rolling, but there are Jedi hunters killing any Jedi they see. Once all the generators have been shut down by rolling 50+ and the Jedi hunters have been killed the troopers will proceed to find their way out the cave and advance on towards the base, Their will be towers outside the base were the 2 other ECs will be. Upon on advancing towards the base a munificent will arrive as support and continue to drop drop pods until the troops have cleared the main force inside the base and take control of a turret that is located inside the base and re-arm it to target the munificent to destroy it. Droids will be spawn around the base once the troopers have made their way into the base and until the troopers have destroyed the munificent it will crash into the water and the the event will be ended. END LAAT will come down to pick the troopers up and will leave to go back to the venator. Change the map back to rp_venator_extensive !orders Troopers Report to Mission Debriefing Then i will Debrief them on the mission depending on how the mission went, then give placements and dismiss them

At the request of the council, we have disclosed a report written by one of our researchers onto these artifacts. The Shards of Nihilius - Dangerous Artifact Report Shard-01, currently contained at [REDACTED] temple. Artifact Type: Sith Holocron Danger Level: Power Entities Contained: Darth Nihilius | Ancient Sith Knowledge Date of Discovery: N/A Numbers of Objects: 12 (2 Accounted for) Containment Difficulty: Extreme. Interested Opposing Parties: Cultists, CIS (unconfirmed), Night Sisters, Several Crime Syndicates, Sith Description: Although there are conflicting stories, the academy generally believes Darth Nihilius was slain by three individuals. Jedi Meetra Surik, Visas Marr and Mandalore the Preserver. Alike many Sith Lords, Upon his death Nihilius placed his consciousness into a holocron, however unlike others Nihilius' power could not be contained in a singular holocron. As a result, Nihilius' conciousness was stored across twelve (estimated) holocrons. This allow for Nihilius to store virtually his entire existence into these holocrons. Indestructible, Nihilus' now victorious enemies spread the holocrons across the galaxy, with the intention of them never being seen again. Unfortunately this was not to be. Discovery Logs: Shard-01: Discovered by a general purpose archaeology team exploring ruins on Sullust, the team had recently found a long abandoned crypt which failed to match markings of any previous groups that occupied the planet. Behind the crypt, a secret temple was discovered, a mantle in the middle revealed Shard-01. Upon activation an apparition of Nihilius appeared, due to negligence the attending Jedi's part the temple was not evacuated and Nihilius was not stopped immediately. This resulted in the corruption of the local clone forces and attending non-Jedi personnel. Two teams of reinforcements were sent to recover the missing original team, the first team of reinforcements being killed or corrupted by the stationed personnel. The second team loosing [REDACTED]% of forces before managing to retreat. Afterwards the DAU was contacted and managed to secure the artifact. All matters pertaining to these holocrons handed over to the DAU, originally presumed to be the only one. Currently stored at [REDCATED] Temple, [REDACTED]. The resulting conflict saw a total of [REDACTED] casualties from clone/civilian teams, and [REDACTED] casualties from Jedi. Nihilius' emergence on the activation of Shard-01. Note the incorporeal form Shard-02: Found by a DAU member in the wreckage of a destroyed civilian leisure vessel outside the orbit of Kalist IV. All members on board the vessel either deceased or in a comotose state. On awakening those members proceeded to violently attack attending personnel, whilst proceeding to scream and act with hysteria. Local clone security forces were forced to fire upon the surviving members. Theory suggests that the civilians found the holocron adrift, and took it as a prize/memento of their trip. The holocron was tested on P-0003 "s8nator" by DAU member Jedi Knight Katar, revealing it's nature as another of Nihilius' holocrons. Minimal clone casualties occurred due to the successful re containment of DAU members and Master of the Order Mace Windu, with minimal clone casualties. Further research establishes the shards of Nihilius, their powers and investigation begins on the other 10 shards. Shard-03 to Shard-12: All other shards are unaccounted for and are placed here for brevity. Power: Through testing, it has been established that the Shards of Nihilius have a stacking affect with each other. Meaning that a combination of two shards will amplify his power, with more shards increasing his power exponentially. Here the power of shard combinations have been outlined. Due to this, the shards will often seek each other out, as a way to console power. 1 Shard: Mid-tier corrupting affects, effective against mentally unprepared non-force sensitives, and Jedi currently under stress/emotional pain. Nihilius is able to hold a spiritual form. Can be contained with basic rituals. 2 Shards: Similar to one shard, harder to contain and more effective corrupting techniques. Nihilius now has the ability to cause auditory and visual hallucinations. 3-6 Shards: Nihilius can hold a physical form for very short periods of time (10 seconds) weak in this form. Special training required to avoid corrupting affects. Now has sensational hallucinations. 7-9 Shards: Nihilius can now hold a relatively consistent physical form. Special training and equipment required to avoid falling to corruption, has access to an extremely powerful array of life force draining powers. Entity will begin feeling famed 'hunger' and will seek to drain the life force from people. 10-11 Shards: Nihilius is all but re-instated, with his nearly full array of force powers, Nihilius has the ability to drain the life force from entire continents at a time. His thirst increased, phyiscal form constant. 12 Shards: Nihilius would be fully re-animated and at the height of his power. Posing a threat to the Republic and the Jedi Order far larger than the CIS and the Sith combined. The entity has also shown abilities to use holocrons as "batteries" to temporarily boost his power. Although this generally only lasts a few hours at most, before the holocrons are overwhelmed and destroyed. All data on the holocrons used is lost. Final Note: Honestly, I think we should keep these things buried. Keep this within the Academy and not tell anyone in the order, let alone the Republic about this. Digging these up and cataloging them will only cause trouble, as the retriever and guardian for the second shard, I've seen what one of these can do let alone 12. I write this report as a warning, please... don't investigate this further. - Knight Katar

Foreword: This is a 2 stage (in one event period) event Stage 1: Location: Any with a large underground complex or cave (such as GM_Lunarbase) Objective: Armed take over of Mandalorian Base that is intercepting Republic Transports Hostiles: Mandalorians, either Deathwatch or some other Mando'a clan Event Character: One Mandalorian leader, preferably not Pre Visla (for deathwatch) EC will not actively attack the troopers, but will be described in detail later Event Set up: Mandalorians set up around the outside of the base, EC in the most central room inside the base, with NON HOSTILE NPC's with him. No other NPC's inside the base. Spawn a Turbolaser prop outside, spawn a generator in a side room inside the base if required Story: Breifing (suggestion): "Alright troopers, this is [Advisor Name]. We have been tasked with eliminating a Mandalorian held outpost on the [Planet/Moon] of [Name of planet/moon]. They have been repeatedly shooting down Republic Transports, causing a severe hindrance to our forces in other sectors. We cannot just orbital strike them as the base has an Anti-Air cannon, which they're using to shoot down the transports. We will be bringing the venator out of range and dropping you in Via LAAT. Move to your LAAT's now, you will get further briefed planetside." Planetside Briefing (Suggestion): "Alright, we've done a scan of the sector, the base is to the [Cardinal Direction]. Expect heavy Mandalorian Resistance. Your current objective is to clear the [surface/Entrance area]. Once you have done so, do not advance into the base." Troopers advance to the base, beginning to eliminate the hostiles outside, at this point, the leader EC says something over His comms similar to "We're under attack! Get topside! Anyone in the room with me stay here. If they come in this room, wait for my orders before you fire." Once troopers clear the top, inform them to "Move into the complex and find that generator". Once they enter the central room, the Mandalorian commander tells the troopers to hold their fire, and asks to speak to the commander of this operation. Before the commander can respond, 3 Munificents jump out of hyperspace, beginning stage 2. If (Somehow) they enter the generator room without entering the central room, troopers must put detpacks on the generator then leave the base. If they still manage to avoid the central room, Stage 2 then plays out as normal, but without the orbital strike and without the EC or friendly NPC's Stage 2: Location: Same as stage 1 Objective: Survive until EVAC Hostiles: CIS owned Droids Friendly NPC's: Mandalorians Event Character: Mandalorian commander, allied with the troopers Set up: Spawn 3 Munificents in the sky/skybox, spawn Friendly Mandalorian NPC's around the outside of the base after the introduction speech Story: Introduction speech (Suggestion): "Troopers! 3 Munificents have just jumped out of hyperspace! They're charging up their cannons! Everyone! Inside!" The Munificent's orbital strike the base, destroying the orbital strike cannon. "Troopers, we're taking heavy fire on the Venator, and the orbital strike has destroyed the anti-air cannon. We'll have to pull back, hold out until we can get EVAC to you." Mandalorian commander: "Listen up, I don't care what you were here for, but If we want to get through this alive, we have to work together. We have a common enemy, the CIS. Let's get out there and fight." He then orders his troopers topside over his comms. Troopers head topside and fight the droids, aided by friendly NPC's. Eventually they hold off drop pods, landers ETC and LAAT's land. The EM can then choose whether to let the Mandalorian commander off for his help, or betray him and have him arrested. Suggested Debriefing: "Congratulations troopers, you successfully managed to survive the CIS ambush {(if let the Mando'a commander go) with help from the mandalorians} and, also stopped the Mandalorians from thieving from any more Republic transports. How the Mandalorians came across the Anti-Air cannon is unknown, and why they needed so much equipment is also unknown. But good work anyway." Assign placements as normal
  5. so after downloading content and fixing stuff i come upon this mod that puts stealth into the game. i tested it a little bit and it seems really worth while: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=779595105 NPCs dont spot players when they walk into a certain range of them. Boring. In the mod it lets players lurk in shadows and crawl along in the darkness to bypass enemies without notice. allowing more stealth components into events. aswell as running away from enemies as you can set a time delay before the lose interest and focus on looking for players again. mod adds a ? above enemies that cannot see you. once the have sight of you it changes to !. also alerting nearby NPCs. read more on the workshop page. i quite enjoy the mod.

I've got a keen mind in how to do things and different ways to do it. I am a leader and team player when both are needed. Have you participated in many of our Events: Yes, I have been apart of a lot of the events from multiple Event Masters. Are you familiar with Gmod's wide range of NPC tools: I have tested them out in a single player game to see the use of them and how they are used. Are you aware of how much a Gmod server can take or how unstable Gmod truly is: Yes. for a sandbox game, the server stableness is to be expected. the simplest things can break a server so I take caution on what I would do the effect the server. Do you understand that you are not allowed to abuse your ULX rank outside of events: Absolutely. Like the great quote by Uncle Ben. "With great power, Comes great responsibility" Do you have any event experience e.g. played a key character in an event before: I have been volunteering lately for event characters. I have been both side and main event characters in events. On a scale of 1-10, how much lore knowledge do you have: 8/10 I wouldn't be playing a star wars role play server if I didn't know anything about star wars. from community jokes to regimental knowledge. I know a lot about the star wars universe and the lore within star wars and the server's lore. Make a comment regarding the recent events on our server and how they have inspired you to become an event master: I have been inspired by Omo's Events as of lately due to the hard work he is putting in too pump out event after event. It's given me the thoughts of becoming an event master myself and how enjoyable it would be to me. To be able to create a story and have it be lived out is an exciting Idea. To be the story teller really interests me to try my best and enjoy it. Do you understand that most events rely mainly on improvisation and mainly nothing goes to plan (ever): The best role play comes from improvisation. Events don't always follow "Plan A." Things will go wrong or not happen the way you wish them too. I don't think I've been apart of many flawless events in my time on the server. Are you confident that you can do proper fully fledged briefings and debriefings: I have the confidence to do it. I have taken charge in times where the leader/Event Master was busy in order to keep the role play and flow of the event intact. I don't have any Worries on doing briefings and debriefings. I shall be in character. there wont be any anxiety in taking the briefings. Scenarios: 1. An event doesn't go to plan and General Grievous is crushed by an elevator. Players are laughing at you. What do you do? As it's a Gary's mod server. Silly things are bound to happen. I would address it in /OOC. And either run with it or turn it into apart of the event. For example have troopers investigate the elevator for his remains and have grievous comms in to be picked up the CIS. 2. A user is bad mouthing your events. How do you react? I would ask what could I do better. You can't make an event everyone enjoys. Everyone has different interests and opinions. If it got out of hand I would alert a higher up to assist the situation. 3. You have to go AFK in the middle of an event you are running and there are no backups available. What should you have done to avoid this? If i had to Prepare for an AFK moment in the event I would alternate the event around so it could be left to progress while I am away. For Example: Having a person RP a hostage situation making that shooting the enemy would result in death. so they would have to take time and work away around it. I would also make sure i dont have any plans around event time that could rush/ end the event quickly. It's unavoidable sometimes for real life events to affect it. the best thing to do it always be prepared in case that does happen. To conclude your app. you are required to create and design your own event. This includes planets, maps and stage actions. Include lots of detail in your event design. You are required to involve PassiveRP elements. MAP: gm_uldum2 Requirements: 3 RP Characters. ( 2 Clones, 1 Injured Clone ) Enemy: CIS Briefing speech: Greetings Troopers. We have Recieved Destressed Communications from A group of abandoned clones on a nearby planet. it seems they were left behind when they didnt board up on their evac in time. The Leader of these lost clones is seriously injured and is in possession of vital infomation about their venator. We shall head down to the planet and extract them with the data inhand before the CIS close in on them and take this data. Troopers Line up on the Door, dual columns and awaiting further orders to march to the laats. * Laat boarding and takeoff commence* *Map change to gm_uldum2* Ask for 3 people to play RP characters, get them set up in position of the lowest part of the main pyramid have injured clone sitting down * RP to make it look like they cannot move due to injury.* The other 2 clones watching the door to the room. No props to be spawned except a chair or sittable object inside the pyramid for the injured trooper. *Model them to Basic clone armor.* * Injured trooper to a higher ranking trooper model.* *give them tool guns to no-target themselves.* Head to Troopers at spawn. Start Event Re-briefing: Glad you could all make it. we have received info that the troopers are bunkers up behind closed doors somewhere in the area. they are hiding from CIS troops as we speak. Orders are to Clear out the CIS in the area, and search for and rescue alive the troopers. we must not let the CIS have hands on this data. Troopers. MOVE OUT. EVENT: Start with spawning Normal CIS droids in the way of the troopers. roughly infront of the stair way. as they start thinning the droids out. spawn more further back. repeat until the clones have pushed up to the pyramid's entrance. Start to spawn droids inside the pyramid. Order troopers that the lost troopers and inside this pyramid. troopers will push through the pyramid. to find the lost troopers. They will need medical assistance on the spot. Get medics down there. as Medical RP happens. Muni will arrive in the air. Start spawning droids around the edges of the map ( except near the spawn) and as troopers take them out keep moving them in closer to the pyramid. Keep a steady push of droids untill the MedicalRP is finished. Orders troopers to take out the droids and head to evac with the injured troopers. as the droids start to thin out. The Muni will hyperspace away *Delete the prop.* Evac once RP troopers are on the laats. *Change map to Venator/Outpost* *Call for Debriefing* Once debrief is ready, Debrief speech begins: Welcome back Troopers. You did an excellent job Out there today. We secured the lost troopers and Evacuated them safety out of that planet. The infomation that they held was a supply list of there venator's Weapons. It is lucky that the CIS did not get their hands on that. All thanks to you Troopers. The injured Trooper "RP Troopers name here* suggested the placements of these 3 regiments on todays mission: *Place 3 regiments due to there work in the event*. We have shuttled the troopers back to their venator. Thank you for your Hard work Troopers. I shall be calling upon you again if need be. Debriefing Dismissed. Questions: Why do you want to be Senior Event Staff? I personally want to become SEM because I took notice at the lack of senior support in the event team. Not to mention I was told by a few to apply, which would be my reasons for the interest in this role. I believe I have the experience for this role in my previous positions as senior staff roles as well as a experienced event master. Do you feel you have the capabilities to ensure the organisation and consistency of the event team? I feel that I am capable in managing and assisting the event team with simple and complicated things. From previous experiences What skills do you have that will assist you in this position? I have good management skills as well as keeping things scheduled and noted. I feel that I am approachable to staff and players alike. I am confident in speaking so I could assist in Event meetings or just generally talking to other EMs. I feel that I am able to see multiple points of view/perspectives when dealing with complicated matters. What do you currently feel to be the biggest issues with your own events? I feel that after doing so many events in my time I find myself scraping for ideas, However that being I do spend quite a bit of time thinking of new ways to entertain the server. another issue would be that my mic cuts out quite commonly ( this is a client-side issue, not a actual equipment issue.) What sets your events apart from that of the other event staff? I can't really say much as i dont get to see everyone's events but I feel every now and then I get very experimental with events, pushing the boundaries of what is considered a Good event, whether be having a lighter or darker tone to using entities or NPCs we would not usually use in events. That being said I am fulling aware of the line that is set for event masters and I do not cross it unless its for the players benefit (this is a rare case most of the time) Situations: 1. You book the first event slot and, upon completing it, you notice that no other event staff have booked the other slots. Explain how you would handle this. I would make sure I have added all the Event team via steam and contact the ones with green listed in the timetables. If this could not be booked i would take it myself ( this is depending on their reasoning for not taking the event, as if they couldn't be stuffed they would likely get a strike on the Tracker) 2. A new event staff begins booking slots, you notice that they do not change the colour of their slots and forget to list down the maps they use. How would you resolve this? I would warn them of this as it is a strike-able offence and remind them to list their maps, failure to do this would result in a final warning and if it somehow happens again I would strike them ( as being warned twice seems fair enough) that being said i would only strike them if it happened at a consistent rate, as people forget to list maps every now and then (myself included) 3. You notice that a specific regiment on the server has been ignoring all orders you give during an event for about a week or so, what do you do? I would sit the Commander down and talk to him about this, If he continued to do this I would bring it to a Marshal Commander. As not long ago a rule was made against punishing troopers after events (as it would be considered abuse of our Event Characters) If somehow this still continued I would use my abilities in the event to scold them, if this was not taken seriously I could make it a Staff issue as disobeying order multiple times is considered failRP (as not every clone is a massive edge lord who doesn't need to listen to people) and would warn them via the warn system, I would continue to watch over them for the next couple of events. 4. Two Event Staff are having a heated argument about a slot that one of the EMs allegedly stole after it was already booked by the other, both of them contact you complaining about the situation. How would you handle this? I would take this into a private channel and have them both explain their stories one at a time. using their stories I would determine who took the slot first, I would also access the staff tracker and look through the previous versions. once this is done I would scold the one who took the slot and depending how serve it was I would strike them. Tasks: 1. Outline the process of training you would provide to a new event staff who has just been accepted into the position. I would first assign a event that they would be available for (such as a 8.30 on a Wednesday) once thats done I would run the event and have them assist me. once this event's finished I would book another slot and have the roles reversed (me assisting him in the event) if he/she was successful with this event we would do another event but this time focusing on another element in the events (such as passive Rp or multiple objective events) If he/she was successful with this I would finally make them run a event alone and I would observe them, I would make sure they make use of building dupes and other tools (maybe even ships) Once this is done I would report to the head EM about the progress and decide from there. 2. Briefly design a potential event staff challenge that you feel would be beneficial for the event staff to complete, explain why you believe so. Challenge: Jedi Side missions each EM must produce at least 1 Jedi Side mission for one of their events, this would test them on their lore knowledge with the Jedi as well as their skill in Jedi RP (example would be the Jedi discovering a run down temple that is sealed, they would have to role-play with the force to open it up, they could retrieve the Jedi artifacts inside and return to base with them) This would be useful as many events focus mainly on the clones for all of their events, making it quite unfair/annoying for the Jedi. having a Jedi mission for them would make them feel included and prove the EMs multi-tasking skills. 3. Plan out an idea for an entire campaign, use as much detail as possible. CAMPAIGN: The Gathering Part 1: We intercept mysterious activity on a planet that cannot be translated, we are forced to investigate as the signal becomes so strong it begins messing with the Venator's Systems. We deploy on the ground to find the place suffering bad weather conditions (Fog and such) we find a cave that has crystal-like objects around. we are ordered to take a few as we believe they are giving off the signal. The crystals begin connecting a forming a kind of monster. the monster attacks multiple troopers before falling back, it then begins summoning minions to attack us as we make our escape. The fog begins turning a dark red and we gets transmissions that the planets orbit begins sucking in the venator into's its atmosphere. we begin getting overwhelmed and are forced to make a retreat. once we get on the venator it is revealed the monster is making its way to a desert. we begin getting ready for another assault so we can stop it. Part 2: we arrive in the desert to see the monster in the distance, the monster is shown rising something in the distance, upon further inspection it seems to be a Monolith, the monolith begins attacking multiple troopers, We are forced to deploy a beacon for the venator to target, it fires upon the monolith, resulting in its destruction, the monster then goes into a frenzy, forcing us to once again retreat from the area. Part 3: after our defeat at the hands of the monster, we are forced to bunker down in a forest. we have been detecting seismic disturbances in this area and we believe that the monster will be moving towards this area. we begin facing his minions until he finally makes his arrival, we call in Y-bombers to destroy him, we manages to fight past them and make his way into our base, we begin to feel the ground rumble and a massive monolith rises, destroying the base. the monster begins transferring his power into the monolith, making it weaker and beatable. Once we defeat the monster it begins imploding, we make our way to the LAATs to escape the blast. Part 4: On the venator we monitor the monolith via our scanners, we then notice that it begins admitting a massive cloud of gas within the sky, Our ship begins to get sucked into the gas cloud, we predict that we will be absorbed into it within the hour, we retreat to the surface with our gunships, we then begin creating a makeshift bomb with one the LAATs, sadly a trooper is forced to pilot the LAAT into the gas cloud, detonating it within the cloud and causing a big enough explosion that ends up destroying the entire cloud. Our Venator readjusts its course and we are decide to leave the planet entirely, even deleting it off the holo charts. Epilogue: A small funeral is held for the trooper that sacrificed himself and We leave the system. Thanks for reading my app and please give feedback!
  8. im not sure what the entire issue is with the wait time, i can imagine that once a event master spawns in they will needs to place down all the props and barricades and spawn the enemies, to spawn the enemies it shouldn't be too hard and it shouldn't take too long (unless there are specific scenarios you are trying to create). so this leads me to believe that its the barricades and structures being spawned in, what i hope is happening is the event master spawns in adv duplicates for it all, unless they build it on sight. Now here is my suggestions: -Before changing maps, have a game plan on what you will handle 1st (probably the structures 1st) -adv duplicates, a good thing to do is to create the adv duplicate that you need before the event in a single player world of the map that will be used. [This is possible i still have event duplicates for hoth and tatooine that i havnt removed]. welding all the structures together and then saving it, all that is left then is to spawn it in when the map changes, this is simple, just check the box for spawn in original position and spawn at original angle, then simply click. all structures are spawned in now all thats left is spawning enemies and maybe npc's depending on the nature of the event. This is what i can imagine is going through your head now, what does this guy know he isnt an event master. and to this i say: thats true im not an event master any more, but i used to be on a different server, and on that server there was even more to do such as setting spawn points (since we used players as droids not ai) and setting the job of each trooper as a droid individualy. this we all did under 15 minutes but it still wasn't rare to go over 15 minutes. these are just some tips that i have to shorten the time of the event starting that i have found in my experience of an event master, im not trying to attack anyone or call out names, i know that certain factors and the nature of events can prolong the length of an event start up time. for now i just hope we dont have to wait 45 minutes for an event. thanks for taking time to read this

Have you participated in many of our Events: Yes, I have been apart of a lot of the events from multiple Event Masters. Are you familiar with Gmod's wide range of NPC tools: I have tested them out in a single player game to see the use of them and how they are used. Are you aware of how much a Gmod server can take or how unstable Gmod truly is: Yes. for a sandbox game, the server stableness is to be expected. the simplest things can break a server so I take caution on what I would do the effect the server. "With great power, Comes great responsibility" Do you have any event experience e.g. played a key character in an event before: I have been volunteering lately for event characters. I have been both side and main event characters in events. On a scale of 1-10, how much lore knowledge do you have: 8/10 I wouldn't be playing a star wars role play server if I didn't know anything about star wars. from community jokes to regimental knowledge. I know a lot about the star wars universe and the lore within star wars and the server's lore. Make a comment regarding the recent events on our server and how they have inspired you to become an event master: I have been inspired by Omo's Events as of lately due to the hard work he is putting in too pump out event after event. It's given me the thoughts of becoming an event master myself and how enjoyable it would be to me. To be able to create a story and have it be lived out is an exciting Idea. To be the story teller really interests me to try my best and enjoy it. Do you understand that most events rely mainly on improvisation and mainly nothing goes to plan (ever): The best role play comes from improvisation. Events don't always follow "Plan A." Things will go wrong or not happen the way you wish them too. I don't think I've been apart of many flawless events in my time on the server. Are you confident that you can do proper fully fledged briefings and debriefings: I have the confidence to do it. I have taken charge in times where the leader/Event Master was busy in order to keep the role play and flow of the event intact. I don't have any Worries on doing briefings and debriefings. I shall be in character. there wont be any anxiety in taking the briefings. Scenarios: 1. An event doesn't go to plan and General Grievous is crushed by an elevator. Players are laughing at you. What do you do? As it's a Gary's mod server. Silly things are bound to happen. I would address it in /OOC. And either run with it or turn it into apart of the event. For example have troopers investigate the elevator for his remains and have grievous comms in to be picked up the CIS. 2. A user is bad mouthing your events. How do you react? I would ask what could I do better. You can't make an event everyone enjoys. Everyone has different interests and opinions. If it got out of hand I would alert a higher up to assist the situation. 3. You have to go AFK in the middle of an event you are running and there are no backups available. What should you have done to avoid this? If i had to Prepare for an AFK moment in the event I would alternate the event around so it could be left to progress while I am away. For Example: Having a person RP a hostage situation making that shooting the enemy would result in death. so they would have to take time and work away around it. I would also make sure i dont have any plans around event time that could rush/ end the event quickly. It's unavoidable sometimes for real life events to affect it. the best thing to do it always be prepared in case that does happen. To conclude your app. you are required to create and design your own event. This includes planets, maps and stage actions. Include lots of detail in your event design. You are required to involve PassiveRP elements. MAP: gm_uldum2 Requirements: 3 RP Characters. ( 2 Clones, 1 Injured Clone ) Enemy: CIS Briefing speech: Greetings Troopers. We have Recieved Destressed Communications from A group of abandoned clones on a nearby planet. it seems they were left behind when they didnt board up on their evac in time. The Leader of these lost clones is seriously injured and is in possession of vital infomation about their venator. We shall head down to the planet and extract them with the data inhand before the CIS close in on them and take this data. Troopers Line up on the Door, dual columns and awaiting further orders to march to the laats. * Laat boarding and takeoff commence* *Map change to gm_uldum2* Ask for 3 people to play RP characters, get them set up in position of the lowest part of the main pyramid have injured clone sitting down * RP to make it look like they cannot move due to injury.* The other 2 clones watching the door to the room. No props to be spawned except a chair or sittable object inside the pyramid for the injured trooper. *Model them to Basic clone armor.* * Injured trooper to a higher ranking trooper model.* *give them tool guns to no-target themselves.* Head to Troopers at spawn. Start Event Re-briefing: Glad you could all make it. we have received info that the troopers are bunkers up behind closed doors somewhere in the area. they are hiding from CIS troops as we speak. Orders are to Clear out the CIS in the area, and search for and rescue alive the troopers. we must not let the CIS have hands on this data. Troopers. MOVE OUT. EVENT: Start with spawning Normal CIS droids in the way of the troopers. roughly infront of the stair way. as they start thinning the droids out. spawn more further back. repeat until the clones have pushed up to the pyramid's entrance. Start to spawn droids inside the pyramid. Order troopers that the lost troopers and inside this pyramid. troopers will push through the pyramid. to find the lost troopers. They will need medical assistance on the spot. Get medics down there. as Medical RP happens. Muni will arrive in the air. Start spawning droids around the edges of the map ( except near the spawn) and as troopers take them out keep moving them in closer to the pyramid. Keep a steady push of droids untill the MedicalRP is finished. Orders troopers to take out the droids and head to evac with the injured troopers. as the droids start to thin out. The Muni will hyperspace away *Delete the prop.* Evac once RP troopers are on the laats. *Change map to Venator/rishimoon* *Call for Debriefing* Once debrief is ready, Debrief speech begins: Welcome back Troopers. You did an excellent job Out there today. We secured the lost troopers and Evacuated them safety out of that planet. The infomation that they held was a supply list of there venator's Weapons. It is lucky that the CIS did not get their hands on that. All thanks to you Troopers. The injured Trooper "RP Troopers name here* suggested the placements of these 3 regiments on todays mission: *Place 3 regiments due to there work in the event*.   10. Hey yo, its a Roger. Im happy to present you with something (Hopefully original), side operations! This will be referred to as Side Ops for short. I have been given the green light to start implementing this on the sever so here goes the details. What are side ops? Side ops is in a sense mini-events. They will occur on the Venator map only. They are missions that is not important enough to warrant an entire Venator response, but vital enough to send in a team to attempt it. How many can attend? The limit set is 8 people, each regiments will be approached to do the side ops and any gap in numbers may be filled from other regiments. What do they actually do? Side Ops may have information regarding upcoming campaigns or events. They may also be there for purely RP reasons. This of course will depend on each EMs. As for now they wont have major impact on the normal events. Why do them? *Cough* XP Farm *Cough*. They will be excellent things to do instead of standard breaching courses. Make your training have more meaning! How often? While a frequency have not been set they will at most occur 2-3 times a day on the Venator map. Where do i sign up? An EM will call for side ops in the main hanger. From there a LAAT will be provided to fly to the bottom of the map where the "breaching course" will be spawned. RULES 1. 1 life, if you respawn you're out 2. If the mission is a failure you may retry after the next event. 3. All radio or RP will be used under *Side Ops* (Under Comms regardless of rank) 4. Any can participate given the approval of the person running the OP (Only up to 8 people) The person running it may change enemies HP and proficiency
