1. Player information: Current in-game alias and or ranks: LTC 2225 Sydney & Commander Barris Offee Previous notable Names/Ranks/Positions: None SteamID: STEAM_0:0:104111358 Steam profile Link: https://steamcommunity.com/id/SydneyTerror/ List your current playtime (in hours) on our Clone Wars RP servers (Main and Event server): 181+ Hours What is your age? (Minimum of 14 years of age): 18 Do you have any active warnings? (Confirm with a staff member if unsure): Nope How well are you known on a scale of 1-10? 6 Are you willing to test your stress Stress = no problem Do you believe you are able to deal with individuals and situations in a completely unbiased manner? Absolutely; I have no friends. Application: TeamSpeak is an essential platform used by all staff members to communicate to each other and the community. A majority of your presence (including activity) will be determined by your availability on TeamSpeak. Do you have it installed? Of Course What made you decide to join the staff team? What are your intentions with the staffing role and it's in-game abilities and power? Well, I have been on the server for a couple months now and watching the current staff team do their thing has been enjoyable, I would like to contribute more to Gateway and help out the community by keeping it safe and enjoyable for all players. Also there has been times where no staff have been on at all to do tickets and prevent bad sports from ruining other people's experience, with my activity and devotion I could definitely boost the amount of active staff on the server. My intentions are to keep the server free from harassment & bulling, most would agree that some people are not here to roleplay; but would rather bully people for enjoying Star Wars RP, as a mod it would be my main focus to seek out people like that and persuade them to behave more kindly to others on the server. I would also keep watch on people tool abusing (Staff & Players) to make sure people are not abusing their power. In a minimum of 50 words, express if and / or how you enjoy helping others? Also include how this will transfer into the staffing role if achieved. As a SGT in 7th I took pleasure in training cadet's. Helping them learn the ropes and rules of how to play. I would always say "I prefer training cadets over try-outs." to the others and they would look at me as if to say "Are you demented?" Meeting and engaging with new people is a fun learning experience and I can say with 100% certainty that I have never failed to train a cadet. I was even able to handle the mingy ones. Moving these skills over to the staff role will be a piece of cake because I have good people skills and a very lay-back attitude in my tone of speech, being able to negotiate and explain in a courteous manner what the person did wrong and outline the punishment if needed. In a minimum of 50 words, if given a trial phase, how will you impact the community and what benefits will you bring to the staff team? So first off, I'd be very quick on the trigger to snatch a ticket and prove myself to the other staff members that I am able to carry out the request. Being another friendly voice on the staff team and greeting the players as I teleport behind them to give them tools. I do have previous moderator experience on Gmod (Murder & Prophunt) so I could share some tips and tricks to some of the other Trial Moderators regarding how to deal with problems and give a helping hand to anyone who has a question. Being completely unbiased in my decision making the words "Friend & Foe" become invisible; dishing out any punishment necessary to whoever it may be. Conditions: Do you understand that as a member of the Staff Team, your position may be subject to change and / or termination should you not be performing to a given standard? This standard is varied, although a minimum of 20 hours per week is strongly advised. Do you understand that your application’s comments from other staff members are encouraged to be directed as harsh constructive criticism only and should never be intended to insult or discourage? Not a problem, I already pull roughly 26 hours per week (Yes I did the math) Scenarios: Disclaimer - Be advised, extremely low effort answers for the following questions will result in your application to be either put on hold until a better standard is reached, or outwrite deleted. Please refer to previously accepted applications (Resolved Application Link) or ask a current staff member to then influence your own unique response. (Any forged responses will result in a denied application) A user is RDMing and insulting other users. You are the only staff available to deal with the situation. What do you do? First I would !bring the Victim/Witness confirming with them that it was a deliberate act of RDM and if the Victims/Witness have said so I would check logs to confirm that players have indeed killed each other. Then I'd move to !bring (The person RDMing) to take him away from the other players so he cannot kill anyone else, explaining to him that he should stop RDMing and try to be nicer to the other players because they are just trying to have a good time and that RDM is against server rules. Depending on how many the user had killed or if he was genuinely sorry/didn't understand the rules I may let him off with a verbal. (The situation can vary) If I deem it mingy behaviour and NITRP I would give him a !warn Reason RDM x3 or however many he killed. If he isn't listening or attempting to kill me I would strip him of his weapon or !jail user then reiterate what I said previously. If he proceeds to RDM again I would just ban him immediately. !ban [time] Reason: NITRP | Failure to Obey Staff If the user disconnects during the sit I would !ban [time] Reason: Disconnect to Avoid Punishment or Failure to Obey Staff If there is a reason or story behind any of the RDM cases I would follow up with the other players involved to make sure I understand the full picture of the scene. I would notify the other moderators of what has happened shortly after as well. A user has contested a warn you have given him and proceeds to verbally abuse you, what do you do? Remind the player to please be nice to staff and all players before checking the contestability of the warn, if the warn was false or has been proved to be incorrect I would check with the other staff online and discuss the situation more with them, using their advice I would make my decision accordingly. If the user is indeed in the wrong and the warn still stands I would explain to the player exactly why he was warned. If he still wishes to continue to verbally abuse me I would !warn Reason: Staff Abuse then get another staff member to assist me in the situation as my opinion may possibly become biased, letting the other staff member deal with it. A user has threatened to DDos and take down the server. What do you do? I would ban all associated users/user permanently to prevent the DDos. I would then contact other staff or the head Admin and inform them of the situation. Getting together with the other staff and verifying the situation, checking to see how many people may be connected to the threat. Calming the main player base down as to not crash the server and cause more issues. The staff team and I would make sure to narrow down the list of associated people. I would then move to verify the legitimacy of the threat, I would check their steam profile and see if they have any VAC bans while also reading some of the profile comments to get an idea of the players past. Checking to see if they had been banned on other severs as well. The course of action; depending if he contacts one of us or submits a ban appeal the user would remain banned until he decides to improve his behaviour and can show us that he is willing to play properly. A Commander and Lieutenant are arguing in front of debrief. It is getting quite heated. The context to the argument is unknown to you. What do you do? Assuming this is a regimental debrief or after event debrief. I would PM both players asking them to both calm down and continue on with their debrief, if they do not listen I would !bring & away to a discrete location and ask one of the other people in the room to do debrief instead. I would ask them what the problem is between the two of them telling them to continue this privately in teamspeak or to just drop it and move on. If a certain player is in the wrong I would contact the CO of their regiment to tell them about the disagreement, noting that both players should be watched for a bit to make sure it doesn’t sprawl into an RDM case. If the argument starts up again I would give both players a verbal warning, stating that if they do not stop the next person to start it up again would be server warned for player harassment. !Warn Reason: Player Harassment | Failure To Obey Staff If one of the two people involved start to RDM the other I would quickly isolate the incident using !bring & and telling another staff member to keep an eye on both their regiments to make sure they don't start RDMing each other. The person who shot first would get warned for ARDM & the person who killed the other would be warned for RDM. It can vary depending on who kills who or who shot first. I would use logs to check this. A Cadet has been complaining and wandering around because he hasn't been trained yet. He doesn't appear to have any intent to role play. What do you do? I would let everyone know that a cadet is in the cadet room and he needs a SGT to come down and train him, while a SGT comes to train him I would take up the opportunity to have a conversation with the player to pass time before a SGT can get to the room watching the cadet to make sure he complies with the SGT and follows the rules if he doesn't want cooperate with the SGT I'll pull him aside to have a chat stating that if he doesn't work with the SGT he will be warned. That will be his verbal. If he continues to have NITRP he will be warned with !warn Reason: NITRP If he continues to not listen to the SGT/Staff I would move to !ban [time] Reason: NITRP If no SGT is present I would train him myself running him through the rules and training him. If he is unwilling to listen to me train him I will give him a verbal and if it continues move to a !warn Reason: NITRP followed by !ban [time] Reason: NITRP if they decide to keep going. After the training is done I would spectate him to make sure he doesn’t ruin other peoples roleplay. As said he has no intention to RP so keeping an eye on him would be crucial. If he decides to continue to have NITRP and starts causing issues for other players I would !bring to a secluded spot to explain to him that people are just trying to have fun. If he appears to want to play the game properly I would let him go with a verbal. But if he shows no sign of wanting to RolePlay I'll give him a his first warning !Warn NITRP explaining that he can’t just ruin other people’s time because he is bored. Resuming spectating him once again, if I see any actions which is deemed NITRP I would move to !ban [time] NITRP Thank you for taking the time to read the application.
 2. Current in-game alias/rank: Colonel Spartax of Doom's Unit | 2LT Climber of Ion Team | Padawan Gax Kel'Tsaar of 187th Clone Legion Previous Notable Names/Ranks/Positions 2LT Gregor Foxtrot Group Steam ID: STEAM_0:1:8735405 Steam Profile Link: https://steamcommunity.com/id/Bajerooo Moderator Requirements List your current playtime (in hours) on our Clone Wars RP server: 380+ What is your age? (Minimum of 14 years of age.) 17 How well known are you on a scale of 1-10? 6 Do you have Teamspeak 3 installed? Yes Do you enjoy helping other people? Yes Are you willing to test your stress? Yes Do you believe you're able to deal with individuals and situations in a completely unbiased manner? Yes Do you have any problems with any of our current staff members? No Are you willing to learn new ways to approach situations? Yes Do you have any active warns? No, my last warns where in July this year for RDM & ARDM, these warns are legitimate and I 100% percent agree with them; however I was very new to Garry's mod and Gateway Gaming at this time. How will you becoming a moderator impact our community? I am currently a very active member of the gateway gaming community and I always have been I have been playing since July this year non-stop. I play all hours of the day even into the wee hours of the night. If I gain a position in the moderator team, I will continue my activity and provide moderation of the community for most of the active hours of the server and use a helpful mindset to help as many people as I can. Do you understand that as a member of the Staff Team, your position may be subject to change and / or termination should you not be performing to the degree stipulated? Do you also understand that a staff role is one that comes with the expectation of commiting time to helping the users of the server (Up to 20 hours a week)? Yes, I am one hundred percent commuted to helping the community so if me stepping down or moving up to fill a position or me being terminated is the best action for the community I have no problems whatsoever. I already commit a large amount of my time to Gateway Gaming and I am okay with commiting more if needed. Moderator Questions A user is RDMing and insulting other users. You are the only staff available to deal with the situation. What do you do? After being alerted to the situation, I would claim the ticket if there was one. I would then go to a location by using "!administrate". the place would have to be not accessible by other players like under the map or in an admin box. after the location is found I would "!bring" the suspect and maybe one or two witnesses if there is a party that is directly involved they would also be brought. I would then start a dialogue with the parties, starting with the "victim" first I would say something along the lines of "What happened, did you do anything to push the perp to do this and do you have any evidence?" after speaking to the victim I would speak to the perp and ask "What is your side of the story, what's your reason response to these allegations? do you have any evidence?" after gaining all the necessary information I would make a decision, but to double-check I would use "!logs" and double-check, if I found anything there and I found that someone was lying that could entail additional punishment. if it was found that the Perp was guilty I would use '!warn" and a reason such as "RDM (or MRDM) | Insulting others". I would inform the perp of the warn and give him a verbal warning going along the lines of "If this happens again while this last warn is active it will result in a ban". after the issue is resolved I would "!return" both players/parties and follow the warned player around a bit in "!administrate" to ensure no more bad behavior is shown. A user has contested a warn you have given him and proceeds to verbally abuse you, what do you do? I Would firstly claim the ticket then use "!administrate" and move to a secluded location, "!bring" the user, I would tell them in a clear concise voice: "You were warned for this reason, and if you think that is unfair which you have the right to you need to message a senior administrator or higher. furthermore, verbal abusing a staff member or any member of the community is a warnable offence so this is a verbal warning to stop what you are doing" after our conversation has ended I would use "!return" to send him back to his last location. if the Perp continues to harass me or other community members I would pull him aside again and say "If given you a verbal warning and you've continued so I will slap you with a formal warning for abusing staff and other parties". using "!warm (perp) (reason: Verbal abuse/abusing a staff member)". A user has threatened to DDos and take down the server. What do you do? Situation One: in the event that I am the highest ranking staff on, e.g. there are no admins on this would take priority over anything I am doing even other tickets etc, it needs to be dealt with swiftly and seriously, I would use “!goto (user)” and ask them directly “Are you being serious? Do you know the consequences for even making a threat?” depending on their response I would use the commands “!kick (user)” then “!ban (user) (0) (DDos threats)” afterwards I would gather information such as video, screenshots, steam ID and steam profile link, Chat logs. Then report all the evidence and the ban to a higher staff member such as a senior admin. Situation Two: If there are higher ranking staff e.g. a Admin or higher, I would !p them or @ the admin chat to get there attention for them to deal with it, as I feel dealing with something like this is something over my head and more suited to a Administrator. A Commander and Lieutenant are arguing in front of debrief. It is getting quite heated. The context to the argument is unknown to you. What do you do? Situation One: firstly I would verbally warn them to stop arguing because if you are mature enough to be an officer you should be able to have a mature argument. if the arguing continues I would move to a secluded location and "!bring". I would get whatever user is less revved up and get there side of the story and after that, I would get the other users rebuttal to his response, I would in a sense act as a moderator of the argument. After they have sorted there differences I would use !return them both. Situation Two: if insults and names are continue to be thrown around a "!warn" could be warranted. using !mute I can mute them so I can talk to them both clearly and concisely. "The both of you are high ranking officer's and should not be displaying such immaturity, I am reporting both of you to your COs" after saying this I would report the Lieutenant to his CO and the Commander to RHC. after that any punishments are not my responsibility. A Cadet has been complaining and wandering around because he hasn't been trained yet. He doesn't appear to have any intent to role play. What do you do? If I see the message from the “cadet” I would use “!goto (user)” I would strike up a conversation with them first and determine if they are just here to mess around and waste someone’s time or are here on GG to roleplay and have fun. I feel mingy behavior starts when people are bored so the best thing to do is occupy them by training them, I would either do it myself or say “/ooc A Cadet needs training, I need an SGT+ to report to the training room please, if no one reports to the room I will pick an SGT at random.” if no one comes in the next minute or so I would quickly scan through the tab menu and pick a lower-ranking SGT that I know isn’t carrying out other duties to do it. I would use “!bring (user)” to bring them to the cadet. After that I would go into “!administrate” and spectate to ensure the cadet isn’t displaying mingy behavior. If the cadet continues to minge and undermine the SGT I would pull the cadet aside with “!bring” and give a verbal warning along the lines of “this is your first and final verbal warning, if you continue to minge you will be warned and possibly banned” if the cadets go through training and get whitelisted I would follow him around in “!administrate” to ensure he is following server rules. If he breaks other rules or shows NITRP I would formally warn them for it. EDIT REASON: Feedback from other Administrators and moderators. @Pluto | @Stingel | @Flea
 3. Checklist: Do you have TS3 Installed? Yes. Do you enjoy helping other people? I do enjoy helping others. Are you willing to test your stress? Yes. List your current playtime: The link provided in the template states I've played 38 hours, however I due to profile name changes, I don't believe that is correct. I am unsure of the actual count, but I think it is more than enough. Are you willing to learn new ways to approach situations? I am more then happy to learn. Do you have a problem with any of our current staff members? No. (Nothing I am aware of anyway.) Requirements: Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:59626797 Steam Profile Link: https://steamcommunity.com/id/outtatimeouttanames/ Current in game alias: Coric How known are you on a scale of 1-10 (10 being everyone knows you): 6-7, I'm not absolutely familiar with everyone on the sever but more than willing to get to know them. How will you becoming a moderator make an impact on the community? I can't say I'd be the best thing to ever happen to this community, but I'd put in my best possible effort to make this community and even more friendly and enjoyable place for everyone. I'd be more than happy to help in any sort of issue, regardless of the magnitude, and would hope my involvement would see a positive impact across the community. Do you use our Teamspeak server often? I don't generally use the teamspeak server to talk, I don't like jumping into random channels, but you'll generally find me sitting in my regiments teamspeak channel if you wish to talk. Situations: (I should note I'm unfamiliar with what commands Moderators have access to, so my apologies if any of this is inaccurate.) 1. A user is RDMing and Insulting other users. You are the only staff available to deal with the situation. What do you do? My first action would be to remove the user from the rest of the players, this would be done by teleporting them to the outside of the Venator, or far away from the rest of the other players if this is occurring during the event. This could be done through the !bring or !tp commands. My second action would be to freeze/jail the player, due to the fact that they have RDM'd and may attempt to kill me. This would allow me to address the player. I would do this through the !jail or !freeze commands. (In hindsight, it would of probably been easier to just use !jailtp command.) The following actions would be determined by a couple of variables. If the player is apologetic to the users they affected, and the insults/RDM count is not severe the user would be let off with a warn, with further monitoring by myself to ensure they do not continue to break the rules. However, if the user is a repeat offender, or continuously hostile and aggressive, to myself and other users on the server and refuses to to act properly, I would remove the player from the server. (If moderators have access, a short ban, otherwise a kick and I would raise the issue with a higher staff member.) 2. A group of users have confronted you and explain how another user was breaking some server rules earlier (RDMing and Climb Swep abusing). The users threaten that they want immediate action otherwise they will leave the server. What do you do? There would be no benefit to a knee-jerk reaction, I would attempt to calm the users down and assure them that the issue is currently being looked into. If the user is currently on the server I would the logs to see if the claims of RDM hold validity, alongside further observation of the user through the !cloak command. If it is found that the user is breaking server rules a similar process as to the previous situation would be undertaken. If the infringements are minor, the user is apologetic, and this is not a repeat offence, then the user would be verbally spoken to, and receive a warn through the !warn command. If the infringements are major, the user is verbally or through actions hostile, or if they are a repeat offender then a more severe punishment would be given. Generally in the way of a !kick or a !ban for a short to medium amount of time. 3. A user has threatened to Ddos and take down the server. What do you do? Threats to undertake DDoS attacks must be taken extremely seriously. I would immediately ban the user for the longest period of time available for a moderator, (eg. !ban (User) 0). I would the notify the highest available staff member on about the issue and provide relevant details about the user. 4. A Commander and Lieutenant are arguing in-front of debrief. It is getting quite heated. The context to the argument is unknown to you. What do you do? Due to the fact that this may be apart of some form of RP, or In-Character arguments it would be unwise to interfere immediately. (As it may ruin the EM's plans, or just spoil the RP for people on the server). I would allow for CG/Shock/Appropriate IC characters to deal with the issue. If no action is taken, or CG and Shock separate the two and the issue continues into OOC I would then intervene. I would attempt to take a middle ground, asking both users to calm down, and if they have issues resolve the calmly and to use other means. If the regiment is facing internal issues, I would refer the groups created in the Commanders meeting (if they still exist). However my main goal would be to prevent the dispute from occurring over OOC or on the server, and avoid getting involved to prevent the issue from getting further inflamed. 5. A Cadet has been complaining and wondering around because he hasn't been trained yet. He seems like a minge to you and you're not sure if he is really here to play. What do you do? It would be wrong to persecute players based off initial presumptions, especially that of a new player who would be rather bored and irritated. I would bring the user to the training room and welcome them to the server. I would apologize for the delays and attempt to get a SGT+ to train the trooper. If possible I would attempt to train the trooper myself. After training I would keep a distant eye on the trooper, to make sure they're accommodated and not causing or having issues with the server. Thank you for reading my application. If you wish to talk to me, or message me about anything, feel free to add me on steam using the links above.
 4. Clone Wars Moderator Application Template Checklist: Do you use Teamspeak and are you willing to get on it more? I use TS for hours every day and I'm willing to help more Do you enjoy helping other people? I'm always willing to help others when I am able. Are you willing to test your stress? I have previous experience as stuff and I'm willing to tess my stress as a being a moderator. Do you have over 20 hours? If so, list your hours. I have over 1000 hours on gmod over my various names. Are you willing to learn new ways to approach situations? I have previous previous experience as staff and I'm always willing to listen to staff to learn more appropriate situations to handle any situation. Do you have a problem with any of our current staff members? No problem with any staff to my knowledge. Requirements: Steam ID: STEAM_1:0:77956613 Steam Profile Link: https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198116178954/ Current in game alias: Lieutenant Fives, Senior Crewman Rogue and General Ki-Adi Mundi How known are you on a scale of 1-10 (10 being everyone knows you): I try to make myself known so I would say 7 or 8 How will you becoming a moderator impact on the community? I have knowledge of moderator ULX commands due to be staff on Gateway before. I am active on the server and would follow the facts in a situation over any bonds with the users. Do you use our Teamspeak server often? For several hours every day, usually in my own channel or Gruff's channel. Situations: 1. A user is RDMing and Insulting other users. You are the only staff available to deal with the situation. What do you do? I !bring the user to an isolated location and !freeze them while I look into what happened. If the user did it on purpose I would !warn them if the user continued I would !kick them. If the user rejoined and continued I wold !ban them and tell them to apply on the forums to be unbanned. 2. A group of users have confronted you and explain how another user was breaking some server rules earlier (RDMing and Climb Swep abusing). The users threaten that they want immediate action otherwise they will leave the server. What do you do? I pull aside all of the users individually and ask them what happened and if they can give me the name of the person responsible. If their stories relate I then look for the user to see if they're still online or if anyone knows where they went. If the user is online I ask them why they broke the rules and what they expected to gain from it. I would !warn the user for their previous actions and tell them not to do it again. If the user continues their behaviour I would !kick them. If the user rejoins and continues their previous actions I would then give them a temporary !ban. If the User was not online I would talk to their CO and other users and see if they had any previous incidents of a similar kind. I then talk to the CO about the consequences of the users actions and give them a warn. If the user logs on and continues their actions I would !kick them. If the user rejoined and continued I would then !ban them and tell them to apply on the forums to be unbanned. I would also ask any users on the server for some proof of what the user who was breaking the rules did in order to determine what happened. 3. A user has threatened to Ddos and take down the server. What do you do? I would !ban them permanently and tell them to apply on the forums as Gateway takes any threats seriously. 4. A Commander and Lieutenant are arguing infront of debrief. It is getting quite heated. The context to the argument is unknown to you. What do you do? I would !bring both users to a private area and !gag them in turns while I find out what caused the argument. If the argument continues I would !warn both users, if the situation continued I would !kick or !ban them. 5. A CR has been complaining and wondering around because he hasn't been trained yet. He seems like a minge to you and you're not sure if he is really here to play. What do you do? I would call for a SGT+ to come train the cadet and if he kept minging I would !warn him. If the cadet kept minging I would !kick them and if the rejoined and kept minging I would !ban them and tell them to apply on the forums to be unbanned.

If so, Why? The only instance I have been punished on the server was for Climbswep Abuse (Warn), I was caught climbswep abusing across a Map in an event by @Raider I was not staff at the time and I apologised to the event Master and Raider. In a Few Words, How would you describe yourself as a person? I would say I have an addictive personality, when I try something I give it my all. And while yes that does work against me sometimes it also means that I don't stop doing something until it's done or I am satisfied. Either way I would consider myself very eager and I always look whats in front of me and the ways I can tackle it. The negatives of my addictive personality is that if I find something else I enjoy I will devote a lot of time towards that aswell as whatever I am currently doing. How many hours do you use the forums/game daily? I would estimate anywhere from 30 Minutes to 4 hours, I have Various roles in game that require me to play almost daily, and on the forums I tend to Lurk and only reply on topics that interest me/involve me. Are you currently a staff member on another server? I am not. Do you understand that abusing your powers will result in a demotion and most likely an IP ban depending on the situation? Absolutely, Admin is given to those who can be trusted and maintain a sensible attitude. If said person is abusing the powers given to them they have no excuse for getting punished respectively. Do you have any previous moderating experience? If so, please explain. I have been a Moderator on Gateway for some time now and I co-owned a CounterStrike Source Community many years ago. Yourself and another Admin are the only staff online. You notice that you are the only one handling reports whilst the Admin in question is RDMing constantly. When you tell him to stop and help with reports, he ignores you and continues to RDM. What do you do? I would "ulx goto <admin>" I would sternly warn him that he needs to stop RDM'ing and do the duty given to him. If he continues to ignore me whilst RDMing I would collect evidence by screenshotting logs and chat before forwarding it to a Senior+ Admin and await their response. If there is no response I would then "ulx ban <admin> 1080 Breaking basic server rules RDM" (18 hours) And wait for a higher admins response. If nothing is done about it I would then bring it up in the next Staff Meeting. 2. You slay someone for RDM and he abuses you for it. The player then goes on an RDM Spree, When you jailTP him he apologizes trying be forgiven. What do you do? Regardless of the user's excuses I would begin the sit by telling him the slay was a warning and because he continued to RDM I cannot let this go, Depending on how many he RDM'd I would explain that I am going to warn him "!warn <user> RDM X-" and that he has no more chances and if he RDM'd more than 5 people I am going to remove him from the server "ulx ban <user> 60 RDMing X amount of people after warning". 3. There is a Player on the server who is new to star wars Role play. He Doesn't know how to play the game and is caught 20 minutes after being white listed being accused of RDMing during an event. He doesn't know that shooting at fellow clones is a ban-able offence. What do you do? Upon hearing that said player was RDMing, I would "ulx goto <player>" If the user is calm and actually willing to cooperate I would explain to him what he has done wrong and if required retrain the user explaining everything required for the user to play the server. However if the user us refusing to cooperate I would "ulx jailtp <user>" before explaining what he did and why he shouldn't and if he keeps ignoring me "!warn <user> RDM & Refusing to listen to Staff" Before letting him go and watching him carefully. 4. You are on the forums and you notice a user being harassed by others in the Shoutbox and in Threads. What do you do? Investigate the situation and build a list of suspects and defendants, I would then check if I had any of the members on steam, if not I would look through teamspeak to try to find the culprits, If none can be found I would forward that list to a forum staff. However if I do find the group of people I would remind them what they're doing is breaking Rule #1 of the server and the Community and it needs to stop. If they ignore me I would contact Forum Staff and bring it up as a topic in the next Staff Meeting. 5. If there are a few users began saying "THIS SERVER SUCKS!" and spamming it everywhere, what would you do? I would enlist the help of other Staff, be it Admins or Trial Moderators to name anyone involved. I would then proceed to "ulx bring <user>" all the users responsible to the Staff room/Sit Room. Once all there I would remind them PTS is active and "ulx gag <user>" anyone who continued to speak. I would sternly warn every single person in the room that if what they're doing continues we will start handing out bans and we won't be lenient. I would then let any Staff online know to ban members of that group if they're caught doing it again. 6. A friend comes to you complaining that he has been banned by another staff member, and wants you to find out why. Upon further investigation, you discover that you believe the ban is unjustified. How do you handle this? Upon finding the ban was unjustified be it friend or not I would contact the Staff member that handed out the ban and find out their reasoning behind the ban. If I agree with the reasoning behind it and there is proof/story checks out but the user admits they're sorry I will negotiate for the ban to be either shortened or a different punishment handed out in place. However if I feel the ban really was Unjustified I would contact another unbiased staff member and ask for their opinion in the matter. If the ban is indeed false and the non biased Staff member agrees I would contact a Senior/Head Admin and ask for the ban to be lifted and give the required reasons.

Basic Information Steam Name: [GG] Hawke Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:77956613 Steam Community: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198116178954/ In game alias: General Hal Shino, 2nd Lieutenant Hawke, MSG 2626 Rogue Age: 18 Time Played: 411 hours Questions: How will you bring new and creative event ideas to the server?: I have played on the server for a while and I understand how players want to try a new style of events and have fun while doing them. Have you participated in many of our Events?: Yes I've played in a large range of events from various EM's and occasionally played characters within events. Are you familiar with Gmod's wide range of NPC tools?: Mostly familiar yes but always willing to learn more Are you aware of how much a Gmod server can take or how unstable Gmod truly is: Over time and playing in events where the EM has tested the range I have a fair clue on what the server can handle. Do you understand that you are not allowed to abuse your ULX rank outside of events: As a moderator currently on the server I understand that I can not abuse my power or and ULX commands. Do you have any event experience e.g. played a key character in an event before: I have played a wide variety of event characters when I have asked or volunteers were required. On a scale of 1-10, how much lore knowledge do you have: I'd say about a 6 or 7. Make a comment regarding the recent events on our server and how they have inspired you to become an event master: The recent events have been good as we have a bunch of new EM's who are providing new ideas and styles for events that have inspired me to try and make my own style of events and to help the players have fun. Do you understand that most events rely mainly on improvisation and mainly nothing goes to plan (ever): I understand this as I have seen it happen multiple times and I believe that I have what it takes to try and create decent events on short notice that players will hopefully like. Are you confident that you can do proper fully fledged briefings and debriefings: I believe that I will be able to perform decent quality briefings and debriefs as I have seen multiple different EM's perform them in their own styles and that I would be able to try and create a my own sort of style of briefings that players would like. Scenarios: 1. An event doesn't go to plan and General Grievous is crushed by an elevator. Players are laughing at you. What do you do? I would add that Grievous being crushed as part of the event and that it only wounded him. I would get the player who was playing Grievous to then RP on how he survived and I would then turn the event on Grievous trying to escape while injured and being chased. I would tell the clones to pursue Grievous while spawning droids to stop them with Grievous eventually escaping. 2. A user is bad mouthing your events. How do you react? I would ask the user what they though was wrong and why they thought it was wrong. If it was a simple easy reason I would try to fix it. If the reason was bad or the user was just minging I would try and change their opinion, if their actions continued I would !kick them. 3. You have to go AFK in the middle of an event you are running and there are no backups available. What should you have done to avoid this? I should have made sure there was someone who could have taken over the event or if I knew I would be going AFK I wouldn't claim the event slot or I would ask to be reassigned. To conclude your app. you are required to create and design your own event. This includes planets, maps and stage actions. Include lots of detail in your event design. You are required to involve PassiveRP elements Planet - Drallstat Map - rp_naboo_city_v1 Event background The city of Helra on Drallstat is under threat of droid invasion and the citizens have requested the Republic's assistance in the situation. Event brief We have received a distress call from some civilians from the city of Helra on Drellstat, they're under threat of a seperatist invasion and have deemed this situation as critical. We will be deploying to assist immediately and will try to help the citizens defend themselves against the seperatists that will be awaiting us on Drellstat. Event planning I would get a few volunteers to be event characters with one being the CIS commander and the other 2 being civilians with one being their leader. The other civilian would be set up as a CIS spy and the troopers would have to try and find them while not alerting the spy of the search. The civilians will be set up at the cantina with some AI civlians allies while the CIS player will be place outside and will RP their fleet moving in to siege the city. The troopers will enter the city and explore while trying to find the civilians and will eventually find the civilians at the cantina. The civilian leader will talk to the troopers about their situation when the CIS attack begins. Multiple munificents will warp in and deploy landers to surround the city and will then deploy 8 MTT's to begin deploying large amounts of droids to try and outnumber the Republic forces in the city. While some of the troopers are protecting the city and the civilians I will create a side objective where in the sewers beneath the city a beacon is set up and transmitting information from the spy to the CIS about the Republic forces that are defending the city and on their weaknesses so the CIS commander can adapt his attack to deal the most damage they can. The troopers would destroy the beacon and comms in "Sir the beacon is destroyed" and they would then be told "good work, move back towards the cantina and try to identify the CIS spy". The troopers would return to the cantina and would be told to "investigate the civilians and see if any of them seem to be extremely calm or using a datapad often" while not alerting the spy they were being searched for. The spy would try to sneak out of the cantina when the troopers got close to identifying them which would be noticed by the troopers. I would then order the troopers to capture the spy and bring them in for questioning and to avoid the CIS forces in the city on their way to the FOB. The CIS commander on learning that the spy was caught would step up their attack by sending in some commando droids along with 2 more MTT's worth of droids to capture the city. The new droid forces in the city would be too much for the troopers that were sent to handle and they would have to evacuate the civilians and have to send them to Drallstat's capital while the Republic worked on re-securing the city and defeating the CIS commander. Event on-planet Briefing Ok troopers we're securely on the ground and your main mission is to find and protect the civilians that are located within the city and protect them from any hostiles while forming an alliance to allow these civilians safety. Event The troopers will move into the city after their briefing after being ordered to move through the city and check all the buildings for the civilians headquarters. After the troopers locate the civilians they will have the Jedi come in and assist with the talks while the troopers are ordered to set up a perimeter around the cantina. After the Jedi and troopers begin talking with the civilians and their leader within the cantina the CIS will launch their first attack in an attempt to take the city. The troopers will be told to defend the city and civilians on all cost. After the first wave of droids is defeated the EM character will comms in that a beacon has been detected in the city's sewers sending information on a CIS frequency. A contingent of troopers will be ordered to move into the sewers to find the beacon and to shut it down. The troopers will encounter a few hostile 'bugs' in the sewers as they attempt to finish their objective. If/when the troopers destroy the beacon they will be informed by the EM that there was possibly a spy within the civilians and that they were to return to the cantina's plaza and to try and locate the spy while keeping them from learning that they were being searched for. The troopers and Jedi will eventually set off one of the spy's sensors that they were being searched for and they would try to escape from the cantina. The troopers would be ordered to pursue and capture the spy for interrogation. After the spy's loss would be noticed by the CIS commander more MTT's would be sent in with more droids being deployed and some commando droids being sent into the city to try and kill the high ranking clones to cause disorder. The droid forces would begin to thicken and the troopers would be forced to take the civilians and to evacuate the city to the CIS as they weren't properly supplied for a siege. The evacuation would take place at the spaceport as it had been established as the FOB under orders of the EM character and the LAAT's that were stationed there would barely get away from the heavy droid presence within the city and that stage and would be sent to the planets capital to drop the civilians off. Debriefing Unfortunately we lost the city of Halard to the CIS but we did manage to save the civilians. We will work to regain the city from the CIS and return their civilians to their homes. (Good result)We managed to capture the CIS spy and we will be working on discovering his motives for betraying his people and on the Republic lives that were lost in this mission.Overall you did well but we couldn't keep the city away from CIS hands. (Bad result) unfortunately the CIS spy was killed while trying to escape and we have no clue to why they betrayed the Republic and their city and caused the Republic to lose a fairly important city and relationship with one of our close allies. Overall you did well but we couldn't keep the city away from CIS hands. Onto places, Third place goes to (reg) for so and so, Second place goes to (reg) for so and so and finally in First place is (reg) for so and so. You all did well, dismissed.

Steam Name: Eeeeeth Kooooth Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:41835984 Steam Community: http://steamcommunity.com/id/UnCageD/ Age: 18 Time Played: Roughly 300+ Hours How will you bring new and creative event ideas to the server: I have just started brain storming and testing ideas in custom built simulations on the server. some of my ideas tested so far and searching for items within a time range. failure causes a different result. I've got a keen mind in how to do things and different ways to do it. I am a leader and team player when both are needed. Have you participated in many of our Events: Yes, I have been apart of a lot of the events from multiple Event Masters. Are you familiar with Gmod's wide range of NPC tools: I have tested them out in a single player game to see the use of them and how they are used. Are you aware of how much a Gmod server can take or how unstable Gmod truly is: Yes. for a sandbox game, the server stableness is to be expected. the simplest things can break a server so I take caution on what I would do the effect the server. Do you understand that you are not allowed to abuse your ULX rank outside of events: Absolutely. Like the great quote by Uncle Ben. "With great power, Comes great responsibility" Do you have any event experience e.g. played a key character in an event before: I have been volunteering lately for event characters. I have been both side and main event characters in events. On a scale of 1-10, how much lore knowledge do you have: 8/10 I wouldn't be playing a star wars role play server if I didn't know anything about star wars. from community jokes to regimental knowledge. I know a lot about the star wars universe and the lore within star wars and the server's lore. Make a comment regarding the recent events on our server and how they have inspired you to become an event master: I have been inspired by Omo's Events as of lately due to the hard work he is putting in too pump out event after event. It's given me the thoughts of becoming an event master myself and how enjoyable it would be to me. To be able to create a story and have it be lived out is an exciting Idea. To be the story teller really interests me to try my best and enjoy it. Do you understand that most events rely mainly on improvisation and mainly nothing goes to plan (ever): The best role play comes from improvisation. Events don't always follow "Plan A." Things will go wrong or not happen the way you wish them too. I don't think I've been apart of many flawless events in my time on the server. Are you confident that you can do proper fully fledged briefings and debriefings: I have the confidence to do it. I have taken charge in times where the leader/Event Master was busy in order to keep the role play and flow of the event intact. I don't have any Worries on doing briefings and debriefings. I shall be in character. there wont be any anxiety in taking the briefings. Scenarios: 1. An event doesn't go to plan and General Grievous is crushed by an elevator. Players are laughing at you. What do you do? As it's a Gary's mod server. Silly things are bound to happen. I would address it in /OOC. And either run with it or turn it into apart of the event. For example have troopers investigate the elevator for his remains and have grievous comms in to be picked up the CIS. 2. A user is bad mouthing your events. How do you react? I would ask what could I do better. You can't make an event everyone enjoys. Everyone has different interests and opinions. If it got out of hand I would alert a higher up to assist the situation. 3. You have to go AFK in the middle of an event you are running and there are no backups available. What should you have done to avoid this? If i had to Prepare for an AFK moment in the event I would alternate the event around so it could be left to progress while I am away. For Example: Having a person RP a hostage situation making that shooting the enemy would result in death. so they would have to take time and work away around it. I would also make sure i dont have any plans around event time that could rush/ end the event quickly. It's unavoidable sometimes for real life events to affect it. the best thing to do it always be prepared in case that does happen. To conclude your app. you are required to create and design your own event. This includes planets, maps and stage actions. Include lots of detail in your event design. You are required to involve PassiveRP elements. MAP: gm_uldum2 Requirements: 3 RP Characters. ( 2 Clones, 1 Injured Clone ) Enemy: CIS Briefing speech: Greetings Troopers. We have Recieved Destressed Communications from A group of abandoned clones on a nearby planet. it seems they were left behind when they didnt board up on their evac in time. The Leader of these lost clones is seriously injured and is in possession of vital infomation about their venator. We shall head down to the planet and extract them with the data inhand before the CIS close in on them and take this data. Troopers Line up on the Door, dual columns and awaiting further orders to march to the laats. * Laat boarding and takeoff commence* *Map change to gm_uldum2* Ask for 3 people to play RP characters, get them set up in position of the lowest part of the main pyramid have injured clone sitting down * RP to make it look like they cannot move due to injury.* The other 2 clones watching the door to the room. No props to be spawned except a chair or sittable object inside the pyramid for the injured trooper. *Model them to Basic clone armor.* * Injured trooper to a higher ranking trooper model.* *give them tool guns to no-target themselves.* Head to Troopers at spawn. Start Event Re-briefing: Glad you could all make it. we have received info that the troopers are bunkers up behind closed doors somewhere in the area. they are hiding from CIS troops as we speak. Orders are to Clear out the CIS in the area, and search for and rescue alive the troopers. we must not let the CIS have hands on this data. Troopers. MOVE OUT. EVENT: Start with spawning Normal CIS droids in the way of the troopers. roughly infront of the stair way. as they start thinning the droids out. spawn more further back. repeat until the clones have pushed up to the pyramid's entrance. Start to spawn droids inside the pyramid. Order troopers that the lost troopers and inside this pyramid. troopers will push through the pyramid. to find the lost troopers. They will need medical assistance on the spot. Get medics down there. as Medical RP happens. Muni will arrive in the air. Start spawning droids around the edges of the map ( except near the spawn) and as troopers take them out keep moving them in closer to the pyramid. Keep a steady push of droids untill the MedicalRP is finished. Orders troopers to take out the droids and head to evac with the injured troopers. as the droids start to thin out. The Muni will hyperspace away *Delete the prop.* Evac once RP troopers are on the laats. *Change map to Venator/rishimoon* *Call for Debriefing* Once debrief is ready, Debrief speech begins: Welcome back Troopers. You did an excellent job Out there today. We secured the lost troopers and Evacuated them safety out of that planet. The infomation that they held was a supply list of there venator's Weapons. It is lucky that the CIS did not get their hands on that. All thanks to you Troopers. The injured Trooper "RP Troopers name here* suggested the placements of these 3 regiments on todays mission: *Place 3 regiments due to there work in the event*. We have shuttled the troopers back to their venator. Thank you for your Hard work Troopers. I shall be calling upon you again if need be. Debriefing Dismissed. In-event Viarable. 1: If clones are killed before evac. extract data from them and continue to evac.
