  1. Prerequisites: Do you have Teamspeak 3 Installed? Yes. Do you enjoy helping other people? Yes, I do enjoy helping people, especially since I'm the unassigned commander I help newer players all the time. Are you willing to test your stress? Yes. Age?: 16 List your current playtime (Minimum of 80 Hours): (Click Here) 456+ Are you willing to learn new ways to approach situations? Of course. Do you have any active warns? Nope. Do you have a problem with any of our current staff members? Negative. Requirements: Steam ID: STEAM_0:1:94425418 Steam Profile Link: https://steamcommunity.com/id/cloud-likes-cum Current in game alias / rank: Battalion Commander Winter/B-89 How known are you on a scale of 1-10 (10 being everyone knows you): 8 How will you becoming a moderator make an impact on the community? If I were to become mod I would just be another pair of helping hands around the place, being the unassigned commander I will also be able to easily deal with the newer mingey players Do you believe you're able to deal with individuals and situations in a completely unbiased manner? Yes. Do you use our Teamspeak server often? Yes. Do you understand that as a member of the Staff Team, your position may be subject to change and / or termination should you not be performing to the degree stipulated? Yep. Situations: 1. A user is RDMing and insulting other users. You are the only staff available to deal with the situation. What do you do? First I would “!jailtp (player) or !bring (player)” to a secluded area away from other players. I would then check "/logs" to see if the user was actually RDMing and to what degree. I would then talk to the player and inform them that they are breaking the server rules and that I will have to warn them, using "!warn (name) RDMx(however many kills) | Player Disrespect" I would then inform them that if they continue to RDM and insult other players that there would have to be more severe consequences. After “!return (name)” I’d watch over them for an extended amount of time using “!administrate” to ensure that the user isn’t still going to abuse/RDM other players. In the case that they continue RDMing I would issue a 2 day ban, I would type “!ban (player) Multiple RDM | Not listening to staff.” 2. A user has contested a warn you have given him and proceeds to verbally abuse you, what do you do? I would bring the player “!bring (name)” to an area away from anyone else, and ask them to cool down with the verbal abuse as it isn’t needed and it would only hurt their case. I would then proceed to ask what their issue is with the warn and why they think it is unjust. If they continued to abuse me I would “!gag (player)” then inform them that what they are doing is not allowed, I would then “!kick (player) Player disrespect | Refusal to listen to staff” If he joined back and continued the verbal abuse I would “ban (player) 1d Constant player disrespect | Refusal to listen to staff even after being kicked.” 3. A user has threatened to DDos and take down the server. What do you do? Act quickly and instantly "!ban (Player) 0 DDOS Threat" (Or whatever longest time I am able to ban the player for.) I would then contact a member of executive staff to inform them of the situation, I'd make sure they understand what happened and I'd give them any chat log evidence via "/logs" 4. A Commander and Lieutenant are arguing in front of debrief. It is getting quite heated. The context to the argument is unknown to you. What do you do? I would try to calm the two players down but if that didn't work I would use "!administrate" to move to an area away from the general player base and "!unadministrate" then I would “!bring (player)” after bringing them to me I would then I would try my best to take over the situation, if they continued to be aggressive and fight I would have to “!gag(player)” I would try and sort it out to the best of my ability listening to both sides of the story to work out the issue. I don’t think this is worth a warn/kick/ban unless the situation got out of hand and escalated to staff abuse. I would give them both a verbal warning and once everything is sorted out I would "!return (players)" 5. A Cadet has been complaining and wandering around because he hasn't been trained yet. He doesn't appear to have any intent to role play. What do you do? I would teleport him back to the cadet room !bring (Players Name) and request in OOC for a SGT+ to train him, if no other sergeants were available to train him I would train him myself and try to solve any issues he has or why he is complaining. If he then continued to show that he has no intent to role play I would "!warn (player) NITRP" and if then continued after the warn I would "!ban (player) 1d NITRP"
  2. Clone Wars Moderator Application Template Prerequisites: Do you have Teamspeak 3 Installed? Yep sure do Do you enjoy helping other people? I do, I like helping others and resolving issues. Are you willing to test your stress? I'm a patient person and have a long fuse, with previous experience I'm more than happy to test my stress. Age? (Minimum of 14 years of age.): 23 List your current playtime (Minimum of 80 Hours): I've gone under multiple names https://www.gametracker.com/server_info/45.121.211.150:27400/top_players/?query=Seraph https://www.gametracker.com/server_info/45.121.211.150:27400/top_players/?query=SavagePanda Totalling 660 hours Are you willing to learn new ways to approach situations? I know that my approach might not always be the best so I am willing to learn and get opinions and feedback from others. Do you have any active warns? None Do you have a problem with any of our current staff members? None, I've gotten along well with all the staff members I've met. Requirements: Steam ID: STEAM_0:1:38129419 Steam Profile Link: https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198036524567 Current in game alias / rank: Pandakka / Jedi General of ARC How known are you on a scale of 1-10 (10 being everyone knows you): 9, I feel that a fair amount of the server knows me, I always try to be active and interact with others in the server. How will you becoming a moderator make an impact on the community? I will be able to offset the load from others and grant a unique unbiased perspective to situations where needed. Do you believe you're able to deal with individuals and situations in a completely unbiased manner? I do believe that i would be able to such things because I've been doing it for 5 years, i have previous experience with being staff and having to be a mediator between others. Do you use our Teamspeak server often? I'm in the Teamspeak whenever I'm on the server. Do you understand that as a member of the Staff Team, your position may be subject to change and / or termination should you not be performing to the degree stipulated? I understand. Situations: Key: ULX command / Non-ULX scripts. 1. A user is RDMing and insulting other users. You are the only staff available to deal with the situation. What do you do? I would take the offending person out of the situation, either by !Jailing, !Bringing them, or !Freezing them, read the bLogs to gain an understanding of the situation and then make a decision, if its his first offence then leaving him with a aWarn and a talking to about the rules and that if he continues his behaviour it will lead to a more strict punishment, if it is a repeat offence, I would give him a temporary !ban till the next day, to let him cool off. If its a mass RDM then i would gauge the situation, and see if its this person's first time playing a Star Wars RP server, if its seen that he is either not here to RP or he's been on the server for a while and knows what he is doing then i'd give him a temporary !ban till the next day, make a report of the situation and give it to a higher staff for review and if they want to change the ban to permanent. 2. A user has contested a warn you have given him and proceeds to verbally abuse you, what do you do? I would tell him that if you want to contest a warn, you may do so on the forums and tell him that abusing staff is a warnable offence, if he continues or if he has been warned previously about abusing staff I would give him another AWarn. 3. A user has threatened to DDOS and take down the server. What do you do? I would ban the user, DDOS threats are never ok, I would immediately !ban the user, make a report of the situation in either a google doc or on a sheet and give it to a higher staff to change the ban to permanent. 4. A Commander and Lieutenant are arguing in front of debrief. It is getting quite heated. The context to the argument is unknown to you. What do you do? I would interrupt and !bring them away from briefing and then try to diffuse the situation, using !gag if they're too heated and ignoring me, I'd calmly ask them both to take a breath and explain whats going on, I would then !ungag both of them and get them to explain the situation. If the situation is too heated I would separate them to get them to calm down. Depending on the situation I would try different approaches to get them to come to a collaborative resolution. 5. A Cadet has been complaining and wandering around because he hasn't been trained yet. He doesn't appear to have any intent to role play. What do you do? I will !bring the cadet back to the training room, talk to the Cadet and ask questions regarding previous experience like 'Is this your first RP server?' , if he continues to ignore me and show signs he doesn't have any intent to role play I'd give him a temp day !ban then make a report of the situation and give it to a higher up staff for review and if they want to change the ban to permanent. Thanks for looking at my application! Any feedback or questions is welcomed, feel free! If you feel there wasn't enough of an explanation I'm more than happy to elaborate and extend my answers which I will be doing in the next couple days. Pandakka/Seraph/Panda
  3. Clone Wars Moderator Application Template Normal speech: White Talking to someone directly: Purple ULX Commands: Blue Prerequisites: Do you have Teamspeak 3 Installed? Yes. Do you enjoy helping other people? I sure do, I teach people Self Defence sometimes in real life, so yes. Are you willing to test your stress? Yes. I handle it quite well in real life so GMOD has never been much of an issue. Age? (Minimum of 14 years of age.): 14, turning 15 in a month. List your current playtime (Minimum of 80 Hours): (Click Here) 1216.85 hours. Are you willing to learn new ways to approach situations? I'm always up to learn something new that can help me and others. Do you have any active warns? No. Do you have a problem with any of our current staff members? No. I respect what everyone does for the Staff team and the community. Requirements: Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:443418912 Steam Profile Link: https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198847103552/ Current in game alias / rank: Knight Baba Farnax, 6446 Sorry, 2102 Layze. How known are you on a scale of 1-10 (10 being everyone knows you): Probably 7-10 I'd say. How will you becoming a moderator make an impact on the community? I'd like to think if I was to become a Moderator I'd be able to help out anyone that has an issue. I can learn things quickly and I'm more than willing to teach new things. I also think having a mentality where you can just switch how you operate is good. From fun to doing my job. Do you believe you're able to deal with individuals and situations in a completely unbiased manner? Yes, although I used to struggle with dealing with friends minging or breaking rules. However it's no longer an issue. I understand the server thriving in the majority of situations is the primary thing to focus on. Do you use our Teamspeak server often? I use it basically everyday. I try to join different channels but when I don't it's because I'm talking about something important or I need to be there. I will make more of an effort to talk to more people on and off the Teamspeak. Do you understand that as a member of the Staff Team, your position may be subject to change and / or termination should you not be performing to the degree stipulated? Yes of course. I actually welcome the fact that if I'm not up to standard I can be removed, seeing as it puts a chip on my shoulder for me to work harder than everyone. Situations: 1. A user is RDMing and insulting other users. You are the only staff available to deal with the situation. What do you do? In this situation as the only available staff, my first course of action is to do !administrate on top off a cliff, top of the map ETC to ensure no interruptions are made during this sit. After doing !bring (RDMer) I would do !jail (RDMer) or simply freeze him with my physgun. And say to the alleged RDMer "So, it's been reported that you have been verbally abusing other players and have been RDMing. I will check logs now to see if this is true, please don't leave the server either because it'll make your situation much worse." If I find the evidence of RDM is correct after looking in /logs, depending on how many RDMs I would first say to the user "I've checked the logs and the report is true, you have RDMed another user, which could possibly be ruining their RP. RDM is unacceptable. It's also against the server rules to RDM, so for this I'm going to be giving you a warning. If you continue to RDM, you will be banned."After I finish talking to him, I would do "!warn (RDMer) Player Disrespect | RDM" . After doing !return (RDMer) I would take him to the spawn room and take them through the rules personally to ensure they know them and won't break them again. If it's reported that they are RDMing again, I would tell them "You were given your warning. I told you what would happen if you RDM again, so for not listening to staff and multiple counts of RDM and player disrespect, you are being banned for 3 days. You may appeal on our forums if you wish." I would proceed to give him the link to appeal his ban. Then I would do "!ban (RDMer) Verbal Abuse | RDM | Ignoring Staff | NITRP" However if there was no evidence found of RDM, I would say to the wrongly accused player "I apologise for the inconvenience. You will now be returned." Then I would !return (Player). 2. A user has contested a warn you have given him and proceeds to verbally abuse you, what do you do? First, !administrate to a secluded area again. I would proceed to!bring (User) and let him know that what he did was wrong, e.g he was minging by pressing the alarm constantly. I would tell him it's disrupting people's RP or someone's attempt at trying out for a regiment and minging is unacceptable. I'd then say to him "I'm unaware as to why me warning you has made you so angry at me?" If he was to answer in an appropriate manner such as telling me about that he didn't know it was against the rules, I would take him to the spawn room and let him read all of the rules. Once he knows them, he will be able to understand why he was warned. I would then say "Sorry for the confusion. If you need to check the rules again just come here." After that I would !return (User). However, if he responds with nothing but toxicity and abuse, I would call in admin chat for someone else to deal with the user if possible. If there are no other staff available I would give him a link to the rules, or guide him to the spawn room so he can read them. I would then "!warn (User) Abusing a staff during a sit" 3. A user has threatened to DDos and take down the server. What do you do? Before anything, I would type Status in console, find the players STEAMID and copy it. I would then !kick (DDoser) the player and !ban (DDoser) "Threatening to DDos." for 3 days. Then request in admin chat for someone to ban him permanently. I would provide the STEAMID of the person. I'd try and make sure I have a recording software set up like shadowplay if it was me who found him threatening. It's also a very illegal thing to do. 4. A Commander and Lieutenant are arguing in front of debrief. It is getting quite heated. The context to the argument is unknown to you. What do you do? I would first pull the Commander and Lieutenant aside in an attempt to calm the two Users If unsuccessful I would then !administrate to a secluded area. I would !bring (Commander) !bring (Lieutenant) and begin to talk to the two users. I would let the Lieutenant go first, hear their side of the story. Same with the Commander. I would then explain to them by saying "You're both experienced players when it comes to the server and how you should be acting. You're not acting like a Commander and Lieutenant, you're acting like children. You need to stop being any formal warnings are given." It would be a verbal warning for both of the Users, then !return (Lieutenant) !return (Commander) If they continue after, it's a formal warning and so on. 5. A Cadet has been complaining and wandering around because he hasn't been trained yet. He doesn't appear to have any intent to role play. What do you do? First things first, !administrate and !goto (Cadet) I would then physgun him above ground where no one can hear us. I would explain to him by saying "Hey mate, I'm sorry you haven't been trained yet but we'll go back to the cadet room now and I'll get someone to train you." I'd still be in !administrate and I'd !bring (Cadet) to the cadet room. I would then do "/comms SGT or above needed in the Cadet Room please. If no one comes one will be chosen at random." When the SGT+ come, I would !PM the SGT+ to let me know if the cadet causes trouble. I would still stay in !administrate and watch the cadet myself just incase the SGT+ doesn't care if the cadet minges. In the situation that I catch the cadet minging, ignoring the SGT+ or something like that, I would !unadministrate and explain to the cadet that minging is against the server rules and lead him to the rules again and read through them with him thoroughly so he gets it. I would then say "If you're to continue minging and not listening to your trainer, you will be banned for 1-3 days. Do you understand?" I would make sure he does indeed understand. I would then go back to !administrate and continue to watch the Cadet. If I catch the cadet again, I would then !unadministrate again and tell him clearly "You were given your verbal warning of what happened, you're being banned for 1 day. Come back when you're ready to roleplay and enjoy the server." I would !warn (Cadet) "NITRP | Minging | Not Listening To Staff [ban]" After I'm finished warning the Cadet, I would then !ban (Cadet) [1 day] "No Intent To Roleplay | Minging | Not Listening To Staff" Thanks for reading my application. If there's anythng I can do to improve my application please just let me know either on here, discord or teamspeak. Good luck to the other applicants.
  4. Do you have Teamspeak 3 Installed? Yes Do you enjoy helping other people? Of course Are you willing to test your stress? Yes Age? (Minimum of 14 years of age.): 17 List your current playtime (Minimum of 80 Hours): 160 hours Are you willing to learn new ways to approach situations? Yes Do you have any active warns? No Do you have a problem with any of our current staff members? No Requirements: Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:126034588 Steam Profile Link: https://steamcommunity.com/id/xeatex Current in game alias / rank: General Anakin Skywalker/Staff Sergeant 6870 Sinker/Operative Shua How known are you on a scale of 1-10 (10 being everyone knows you): 6/7 How will you becoming a moderator make an impact on the community? I am very active and always willing to help, plus I have a very large amount of experience in moderation as I am an ex-head admin of a decently well known server (Collosal Gaming) meaning that I already have a vast amount of knowlege in how to properly deal with a wide variety of situations without bias, which will allow me to help as many people as I can more efficiently which I believe will have a positive impact on the server. Do you believe you're able to deal with individuals and situations in a completely unbiased manner? I do Do you use our Teamspeak server often? Yes, I try to be on every day Do you understand that as a member of the Staff Team, your position may be subject to change and / or termination should you not be performing to the degree stipulated? Yes Situations: Key: Command Punishment Rule Breakage/Offence 1. A user is RDMing and insulting other users. You are the only staff available to deal with the situation. What do you do? I would use !administrate and fly under the map (or to another hidden part of the map out of the way of other players) and !jailtp [name] the offender and explain to him/her why he has been brought here, I would then expalain to him/her why RDMing and insulting others isnt acceptable on the server, after hearing his respone and reasoning I would check previous logs of his actions recorded by staff members, depending on his previous record and the amount of people he has RDM'd along with the severity of the insults I would either warn them with !warn (or a different warning command if the server uses a different warn system) if it was a first time thing/it wasnt Mass RDM or if they havent acted up in a long time, however if it was a case of Mass RDM or this person was a repeat offender it would result in them getting a ban. 2. A user has contested a warn you have given him and proceeds to verbally abuse you, what do you do? I would let him know that verbal abuse wont get him anywhere and that it may result in another warning, and as for the conest of the warning I would let him know that I am going to consult another staff member (preferably someone more senior than me) and take into account what they say and take action on it, either clearing the warn if the other staff member (more senior than me) sees it to be the right thing to do, however the warn would stay if they believe it to be a fair warning. If the player is still angry and verbally abusive I would see if I could calm him down and try have him talk to another staff member to see if theat would de-escalate the situatiom, however if the player continues to verbally abuse me/the other staff member after the warning and attemp at calming down I would kick him with !kick [name] him for verbal abuse towards staff. 3. A user has threatened to DDos and take down the server. What do you do? If it is a legitimate threat I would alert management or senior staff such as Head Admin or Server Manager, and if I cant get a hold of eiteher I would attempt to get in touch with a senior admin immediatly, then I would bring the player and try to find out information while gathering evidence through screen recording or screenshots, as well as keeping him talking in an attempt to stall him (as he may actually be capable of a DDOS), while management/and or other senior staff decide what is to be done about the situation, however if the player is not willing to talk and insists he is going to DDOS the server I would ban the player on the spot using !ban [name] with the reason DDOS threat and then alert management. 4. A Commander and Lieutenant are arguing in front of debrief. It is getting quite heated. The context to the argument is unknown to you. What do you do? I would listen into the argument to get an understanding of what its about, if its part of/about debrief or the event it isnt up to staff to handle it as its an rp situation. However its an out of character arugument I would pm them quickly telling them to knock it off as this isnt the time or place to argue about out of character issues and then have a chat to them after debrief is over and give them a verbal warning about how that isnt on and that people might think that its ok as they're high ranking players of the server and should be setting an example as many lower ranking or new players look up to people of a higher rank, such as Lieutenant and Commander. 5. A Cadet has been complaining and wandering around because he hasn't been trained yet. He doesn't appear to have any intent to role play. What do you do? I would apologise that nobody has come to train him yet but also let him know that he shouldnt be running around the base as a cadet as he needs to be trained first, I would then direct him back to the training area and call for a Sergeant+ to come and train him, if none are aavailable i would just train him myself, However if he continues to show signs of not having any intent to role play I would first give him a verbal warning telling him that he cant continue acting the way he is if he wants to actually play on the server, and if he continues to mess around and minge and not wanting to rp I would ban him for an hour using !ban [name] with the description "No intent to RP" as generally if they have no intent to rp they wont bother to come back at all unless they actually want to play on the server.

It would mean the addition of an active, mature, and experienced member of the community to the staff team. Do you believe you're able to deal with individuals and situations in a completely unbiased manner? I do. Do you use our Teamspeak server often? Not that often but I'd be more than willing to use it more for staff purposes. Do you understand that as a member of the Staff Team, your position may be subject to change and / or termination should you not be performing to the degree stipulated? I do. Situations: 1. A user is RDMing and insulting other users. You are the only staff available to deal with the situation. What do you do? I would !administrate and get myself to a secluded area of the map. Then I would !fbring the offender here and I would tell him of the server rules he has breached. If he accepts this, I would !warn player RDM | Player Disrespect. If he disputes it, I would use /logs to view kill and/or damage logs as evidence that he indeed was RDMing. For player disrespect, I would !bring any witnesses and have them tell of what happened. I would ensure the sit remains civil by using !gag and freezing with my physgun if required. After sufficient evidence has been brought forward, I would !return the witnesses, remind the offender that this behaviour is not acceptable, and I would then render unto him his punishment of !warn player Player Disrespect | Refusing to listen to staff. I would !unfreeze the offender and then return him. 2. A user has contested a warn you have given him and proceeds to verbally abuse you, what do you do? I'd tell him that verbal abuse is player disrespect and that if he continues I will warn him accordingly. If the abuse continues even then, I would do !warn player Constant player disrespect, refusal to listen to staff. If he keeps on going then I'd do !kick player Constant player disrespect, refusal to listen to staff. If the abuse is really serious, racial slurs and such, or if he comes back after the kick and keeps abusing then I'd do !ban player 1d Constant player disrespect, refusal to listen to staff. 3. A user has threatened to DDos and take down the server. What do you do? !ban player 0 DDoS Threat and then report the incident to senior staff. 4. A Commander and Lieutenant are arguing in front of debrief. It is getting quite heated. The context to the argument is unknown to you. What do you do? I'd tell them to calm it down. If they want to argue, they can do it outside of debrief. If they keep going, I'd !bring them both to a remote location and tell them that if they want to argue they have to do it outside of debrief. If they continue to argue in debrief even after that talking, I'd bring them to a remote location again and tell them that they were told not to argue in debrief but they kept doing it anyway. I'd then give them both a !warn player Refusal to listen to staff. 5. A Cadet has been complaining and wandering around because he hasn't been trained yet. He doesn't appear to have any intent to role play. What do you do? I'd bring the cadet to the cadet room and tell a SGT+ to come train the cadet or one will be chosen at random. I'd tell the cadet that he will receive training and that he is to listen to the instructions of the trainer. I would then use !administrate to watch over the cadet and make sure he's following the instructor's instructions. If the cadet continues to refuse to listen to the instructor and is constantly minging, I'd !unadministrate and tell the cadet that he has to listen to instructions or he will receive a 1 day ban for having no intention of actually roleplaying. If he persists, !warn player No intent to RP (1 day ban) and then !ban player 1d Come back when you actually want to RP.

Yes Situations: Green = Command Yellow = Speech Purple = Name 1. A user is RDMing and insulting other users. You are the only staff available to deal with the situation. What do you do? I would first check that he was RDMing by checking logs using /logs. If indeed he was RDMing I would bring him to me using !bring (name) and say to him "Hey man, I've had some reports that you've been RDMing and insulting other players. What's been happening here?". If he admitted to it I would give him a warn using !warn (name) RDM and inform him that if he carried on he would have more severe consequences. If he did not admit I would bring the other player using the !bring and speak to them to get both party's points of view. If neither of them agree or cooperate I would speak to any witnesses to see if a conclusion can be reached. If he has not been RDMing but still insulting people I would give him a verbal warn before giving him an official server warning. After I have dealt with the situation I would return him using !return name 2. A user has contested a warn you have given him and proceeds to verbally abuse you, what do you do? I would bring them to me using !bring name and wait for them to calm down and then ask them to stop abusing me. I would then ask them to explain their reasoning behind why they think the warn is unjust. If I am not sure what to do or the trooper is unsatisfied I would speak to senior staff. If they approved of my decision to warn him I would keep the warn up and if the trooper continued to abuse me I would warn him again and give him a ban if he continued after that. If the senior staff did not approve of my warn I would remove the warn and apologize to the trooper then return him using !return name 3. A user has threatened to DDos and take down the server. What do you do? I would first speak to the trooper to make sure he was serious and gain context around the situation and if I believed that he did intend to DDos the server I would get evidence of the threat (Screenshots, recording, etc) and ban him using !ban name DDos Threat as a DDos threat is a serious offense. 4. A Commander and Lieutenant are arguing in front of debrief. It is getting quite heated. The context to the argument is unknown to you. What do you do? First I would make sure that the argument is not RP. If it was RP it would be CG's job so I would let them deal with it. If not I would go to a secure, far away location and !bring both players too me. I would then wait for them to calm down or tell them to calm down. I would the remind them "As higher ranking troopers you have to set an example for the rest or the server." I would then attempt to help mediate the situation, give them a verbal warning and tell them that "If you continue there will be more harsh punishments." If they become abusive toward me or the other player I would give the abusive one a warning ( !warn name Staff/Player disrespect.) I would then give them a short ban if the situation escalates. 5. A Cadet has been complaining and wandering around because he hasn't been trained yet. He doesn't appear to have any intent to role play. What do you do? I would !goto name and say "Hey dude, I'm Sean/Wolffe. Look, you need to be trained before we can let you run free so I'm going to have to bring you back to the cadet room. We'll get a SGT to train you." I would then say in OOC or Comm's "SGT plus to the cadet room or I will choose one at random." If no SGT is available I would train the cadet myself. If he really has no intent to RP I would warn him that he does need to RP as this is an RP server and if he continues to disobey and not listen it will result in punishment. If he continues to minge I would !warn name no intent to RP him and if he continues I would ban him for 1 day using !ban name 1d No intent to RP. Thanks for reading. This is my first time doing anything like this so constructive feedback would be appreciated.

Do you have any active warns? No, I do not have any active warns. Do you have a problem with any of our current staff members? No, I do not believe that I have a problem with any of the current staff members. Requirements: Steam ID: STEAM_0:1:79609498 (Thanks Serbo for finding it) Steam Profile Link: https://steamcommunity.com/id/TheWildAustralian/ Current in game alias / rank: Staff Sergeant 6059 Khai How known are you on a scale of 1-10 (10 being everyone knows you): 7. How will you becoming a moderator make an impact on the community? Becoming a moderator will make a positive impact on the community as I believe I can make the server a more enjoyable experience to all, by being active and responding to all matters professionally. Do you believe you're able to deal with individuals and situations in a completely unbiased manner? I do believe that I am capable of dealing with individuals and with situations in a completely unbiased manner. Do you use our Teamspeak server often? I use it sometimes, however, I am very willing to use it more often. I only use it sometimes as my regiment does not primarily communicate through teamspeak. Do you understand that as a member of the Staff Team, your position may be subject to change and / or termination should you not be performing to the degree stipulated? I do understand that as a member of the Staff Team, my position may be subject to change or termination if I am not performing to the degree stipulated. Situations: Legend: Rank ULX Command Text / Vocal Communication 1. A user is RDMing and insulting other users. You are the only staff available to deal with the situation. What do you do? To begin, I would type in chat /logs to obtain detailed information regarding the server, to find out the actions of the user and whether or not they were RDMing. Once I have determined if they have or have not RDM'd any other users, I would noclip to under the map or a spot suitable for a Staff Sit and bring the user with !bring (name). If the user begins to run, or change slots to escape the Staff Sit, I would use !bring (name) again, additionally jailing them with the !jail (name) command. In regards to the user insulting other users, I would try and obtain information regarding the insults, such as with the /logs command for text insults, as well as obtaining any verbal information from bystanders or recipients of the player abuse. To the user, I would then message what they had done, and the consequences of their actions, saying "According to the server logs and player reports, you have RDM'd (x) amounts of players, for this you are receiving a warning". If I had enough information to believe that the player was also player abusing other users, I would also message "you are also receiving a warning due to you abusing other players". However, if the player is a past offender and if the player had mass RDM'd, and/ or the player abuse was very severe, I would say that "you are being banned" instead of a warn. To warn, I would say !warn (name) (reason), to ban I would say !warn (name) (reason). If warned, I would return the player with !return (name), and keep a close watch on that player for any more unsatisfactory behaviour. 2. A user has contested a warn you have given him and proceeds to verbally abuse you, what do you do? I would begin by bringing the user to a secluded spot, with !bring (name). Once their, I would first off by saying / messaging that their "verbal abuse of myself is against the server rules, this is your first and final warning, I will explain the warn I have given you, but only if you stop your verbal abuse". Depending on the severity of the verbal abuse, and if it was severe, I would immediately issue a warning with !warn (name) (Verbal abuse of staff). Either way, I would explain why they have received the warning, directing them to the MOTD and rules of the server. However, if the player presents new information that would change the context behind that warn, I would take that into account and possible rescind that earlier warning. If the player complies with my instructions and calms down, I would return the player with !return (name). If the player does not comply, I would warn or kick the player. If the verbal abuse is very severe, I would ban the player, using !ban 3d (name) (verbal abuse of staff). 3. A user has threatened to DDos and take down the server. What do you do? To initiate, I would bring the user threatening to DDos the server to a secluded spot on the map, using !bring (name). Once brought, I would begin talking to the user in a passive, calm tone. Saying, or messaging, "I have recieved reports / seen that you are threatening to DDos the server, why are you threatening these things?". If the player seems apologetic, or realises their actions and claim to not threaten the server in the future, I would warn the player, saying !warn (name) "Threats to DDos the server", then returning the player with !return (name). If the player does not back down, I would perma ban the player with !ban (name) "Threats to DDos the server". Once banned, or warned, I would inform the highest ranking staff member online, before trying to contact the server owner or server manager to inform them about the DDos threat(s). 4. A Commander and Lieutenant are arguing in front of debrief. It is getting quite heated. The context to the argument is unknown to you. What do you do? To start off, I would bring both players to a secluded area using the !bring (name) command. By then, both players (as they are experienced to have achieved both respective ranks) should realise they are in a staff sit, and calm down. However, if one or both of them did not calm down, I would move the Commander away from the Lieutenant or vice versa. I would ask both of them what their versions of the events that lead to them arguing in front of debrief, to try and develop a understanding of what happened. Once I have gotten a story from both Commander and Lieutenant, I would say to both of them that their "behaviour is extremely unprofessional and paints a bad image of what Gateway Gaming is all about, you are more than cadets, you have earnt your rank through hard effort and that should be shown through your behaviour to one another, this is a verbal warning, I don't want to see arguments like these occurring in the future, especially out the front of debrief". I would then return both players with !return (name) and make sure to keep my eye on them in the future. 5. A Cadet has been complaining and wandering around because he hasn't been trained yet. He doesn't appear to have any intent to role play. What do you do? I would first apologise that he hasn't been trained yet, then noclip to the cadet room, then bring the cadet with the !bring (name) command. Once brought, I would ask in /ooc for a trainer that is SGT+, if one is available, I would bring them using the !bring (name) command. If none is available or takes too long to respond, I would begin training the cadet. However, if the cadet is minging about and refuses to be trained, I would give a verbal warning, saying "you need to show some intent to role play, otherwise you may be kicked and warned". If they continue to minge, I would warn them, !warn (name) "No intent to Role Play". If they continued to minge and show to intent to roleplay, I would kick them, !kick (name) "No intent to Role Play". Eventually, if they come back and continue to show no intent to roleplay, I would escalate to a one day ban, for no intention to role play. This is my first application on Gateway Gaming, and I would greatly appreciate any feedback whatsoever, and any tips on how I can improve my behaviour. Thank you so much for your consideration and time
  8. Checklist: Do you have Teamspeak 3 Installed? Yes, and I use it frequently. Do you enjoy helping other people? Yes, I enjoy helping anyone I can Are you willing to test your stress? Yes Age? I believe that I will have a positive impact on the server because of past experience as a moderator (Even though I wasn’t the most well behaved) and being able to help the current staff team by taking up every opportunity to solve problems gateway gamers are having or just take tickets so that higher staff members don’t need to worry about taking them, leaving them to relax until a problem that requires them comes around. Do you believe you're able to deal with individuals and situations in a completely unbiased manner? Yes Do you use our Teamspeak server often? Yes, pretty much as soon as I have turned my computer on. Do you understand that as a member of the Staff Team, your position may be subject to change and / or termination should you not be performing to the degree stipulated? Yes Situations: 1. A user is RDMing and insulting other users. You are the only staff available to deal with the situation. What do you do? I would confirm that the player is RDMing by checking logs (/logs), I would then teleport them to me (!bring Name) to an area others can’t reach (E.G: Above the venator/map, staff rooms), If they switch slot or try running I would jail them (!jail Name), I would then ask why they are running around RDMing and insulting other users. If explain why they were, I would check their warns (!wans) and if they have many or major warnings I would then ban (!ban Name 30 RDM X# / Insulting, Come back when you are ready to behave) for 30 minutes to an hour depending on the severity of the warning being given and others that the user has collected, If they only have a couple of warnings I would just warn them and tell them that if it happens again that they will be banned for a couple of hours. But if he doesn't have major or many I would give them a warn (!warn Name RDM X# / Verbal abuse) after I would explain to them that if they continue there will be worse consequences. Then I would unjail (!unjail Name) if they were jailed and then I would administrate to the cadet training room and run them over the server rules if they are new and make sure they understand so it doesn’t happen again, If they know/have played the server for a while I would just TP (!return Name) them back to where they were last. I would also follow the user in administrate for a little bit just to make sure that they do not continue. 2. A user has contested a warn you have given him and proceeds to verbally abuse you, what do you do? I would bring the player (!bring Name) to a secluded area (E.G: Above the venator/map, staff rooms) after bringing the player I would ask them to calm down and that if they continue to verbally abuse they will be warned. If they calm down I would then ask for why they think the warn was unjust, if they have a proper reason or new information I would act on it within reason. However if they don't stop verbally abusing I would freeze them and try to tell them to quiet down, once they have stopped I would tell them that they are getting another warn (!warn Verbal abuse, Disobeying staff) and then would tell them that if it continues further that they will be kicked or other punishments will be given if needed. 3. A user has threatened to DDos and take down the server. What do you do? I would go to (!goto Name) the player and try to talk to them about the threats and why they want to DDoS the server. After having a talk to them I would try to talk them out of attacking the server and see if they wish to play the game like everyone else. If they stop the threats and continues on as a normal user I would give them a two day ban (!ban Name 2d Threats of DDoS) and that once its over I would tell them that if they ever threaten the server again it's a permanent ban, I would also tell a senior or Exec staff. But if they continue to threaten the server and won’t stop then I would ban (!ban Name 3d Threats to DDoS) the player and then inform a Senior or exec staff asap and give them the users steam ID. 4. A Commander and Lieutenant are arguing in front of debriefing. It is getting quite heated. The context of the argument is unknown to you. What do you do? First I would check in admin chat to see if the argument is an in-character thing/ for the debrief, If it is not apart of the event and they are just shouting at each other I would bring them away from the debriefing (!bring Name X2) and would freeze them both away from each other so they do not continue yelling, I would then explain to them how screaming at each other during a debriefing is childish and how as commander and lieutenant are meant to be role models to players and how the way they were acting is unacceptable and that if anything like this ever happens during something like briefing they will both be in much more trouble than what they are this time. I would then warn them both (!warn Name Fail RP/Verbal abuse X2), Then I would return (!return Name X2) them both and spectate them in administrate to make sure it doesn’t start again. 5. A Cadet has been complaining and wandering around because he hasn't been trained yet. He doesn't appear to have any intent to role play. What do you do? If the cadet somehow makes their way out of the training I would go to them (!goto Name) and tell them I will bring them back to the cadet room, I would then bring them (!bring Name), after I would explain that they can’t leave until they are trained. I would then start their training and would try to make it as fun and enjoyable as possible so that they stay drawn in and want to be a part of the training and maybe play the server. After I have finished training them I would promoted/white-list them and take the player on a tour of our ship/base and make it as interesting as possible so that the player finds a reason on the server to stay and not minge.

Do you believe you're able to deal with individuals and situations in a completely unbiased manner? I will head into every situation in an unbias manner to make sure I give everyone a fair understanding. Do you use our Teamspeak server often? I use it every day. Do you understand that as a member of the Staff Team, your position may be subject to change and / or termination should you not be performing to the degree stipulated? I do. Situations: 1. A user is RDMing and insulting other users. You are the only staff available to deal with the situation. What do you do? First I will use /logs to find out who the player is that is causing a commotion then proceed to go to an isolated place on the current map and !bring [player] and then use my physgun to freeze the player so they don't RDM me. Afterwards I will then begin questioning the player such as "Why are you RDMing and verbally abusing other players?" and wait for the player to state his reasoning, depending on the amount of times the player RDMed and verbally abused others then the punishment shall vary from warning to ban, if the player was never informed on the rules and only RDMed once and called someone something along the lines of "Idiot" or "Retard(ed)" then I will !warn [player] "RDM | Verbal Abuse", afterwards I will run them through the rules of the server and then !return [player]. 2. A user has contested a warn you have given him and proceeds to verbally abuse you, what do you do? I will listen to what the player says even if the player is verbally abusing me through out their sentence and then explain to the player why they were warned in a calm tone and that if they continue their behaviour I will warn them again, if they stop and apologise then I will !return [player] to the map but if they continue with the insults then I will !warn [player] "Verbally abusing staff" and then !return [player] back to the map. 3. A user has threatened to DDos and take down the server. What do you do? Go to a isolated place on the map that we are currently on and start recording with shadow play and then !bring [player] to my position, where I will ask them "Why are you saying you are going to DDoS the server in chat" or "Someone has told me that you have been saying you are going to DDoS the server, is this true?" and to try calm the player down as best as I can and to sort things out with them, if they apologise for their actions I will ask them not to say it again as we take DDoS threats very seriously after which I will !return [player] back to the map, if they do not cooperate and continue with their behaviour then I will be forced !ban [player] [permanently] "Threating to DDoS server". To conclude I will take screenshots of the things the player has said in chat and send the screenshots and recording to an Admin. 4. A Commander and Lieutenant are arguing in front of debrief. It is getting quite heated. The context of the argument is unknown to you. What do you do? As usual, I will go to an isolated place on the map where I will proceed to !bring [Commander] and !bring [Lieutenant] and run through with them that their behaviour is unacceptable and as high ranking officers you are to lead by example and to behave in such a way in front of yours and other players troops is unacceptable. I will ask them to please stop with the fighting or settle it formally somewhere else in the map or on Discord, Steam or Teamspeak. if they agree then I will thank them and then !return [Commander] and !return [Lieutenant]. However, if their behaviour continues then I will be forced to !warn [Commander/Lieutenant] "verbal abuse". If they continually keep arguing despite my best efforts to keep it civil between both players then I will tell them something along the lines of "It's clear you guys aren't listening to what I've said before so I'm gonna need to give you guys time to cool off and discuss it somewhere else but on the server as you both clearly aren't acting mature about the situation" and then follow up by !ban [Commander/Lieutenant] 1 hour "Verbal abuse". 5. A Cadet has been complaining and wandering around because he hasn't been trained yet. He doesn't appear to have any intent to role play. What do you do? Firstly I will begin by !bring [Cadet] to the training room and tell them that they will need to be trained first before wandering around. If there isn't any SGT+ online at that time then I will train the Cadet myself, if there are a couple of online that are SGT+ online at the time then I will put in chat "/ooc There is a Cadet that needs to be trained, if no one reply's then a Sergeant+ will be selected at random" If someone is to reply or if I chose one at random I will !bring [Sergeant] to the training room and watch over them using ulx cloak. If the Cadet shows that they are trying to minge during the training, trying to annoy me or the Sergeant and are purposely showing that they have no intent of role play by wasting time and making immature remarks then I will tell the Cadet they clearly aren't here to role play and have fun where I will !ban [Cadet] 1 day "No intent to RP | Minge". Do you use our Teamspeak server often? Yes, I am active on Teamspeak Do you understand that as a member of the Staff Team, your position may be subject to change and / or termination should you not be performing to the degree stipulated? Yes, I do Situations: 1. A user is RDMing and insulting other users. You are the only staff available to deal with the situation. What do you do? KEY: COMMMAND QUOTES NAME I would firstly check the logs using the command [/logs] to see if the trooper has killed someone, Once I gather enough information about the trooper that has RDM'ed a fellow trooper I would go to an isolated place on the base, and I will use the command !Jailtp **** to and then I would question him on why he killed the trooper. From here on it can go two ways, but I will set them up in specific scenarios. Scenario 1: He admits to his actions that he did RDM a trooper, which then I will tell him that "since he admitted to his actions I will let him off with a warn, but if he proceeds to continue killing he will suffer a worse consequence then a warn" using the command !warn **** RDM and then return him using the command !return **** Scenario 2: He denies about RDM'ing someone, I would firstly bring the Trooper2 that was RDM'ed by the Trooper1 and ask him for his part of the story and why the Trooper1 RDM'ed him, Once he is done I will ask the Trooper2 for his side of the story, Once I have heard both sides of the story I will tell him "that even though you two have your own to sides of the story you can't go around killing people as that is considered breaking the rule of RDM" then warn him using the command !warn **** RDM and then !return **** and the innocent Trooper back. 2. A user has contested a warn you have given him and proceeds to verbally abuse you, what do you do? If this specific trooper isn't currently in a sit or any other situations, I will go to an isolated location on the base and bring the trooper using the command !bring **** and in a calm, professional manner ask them to stop cussing and to relax. Once he has calmed down, I will tell them on the reason they were warned and asked if they also understand the reason they were warned then I will return them using the command. If they agree I will return them using the command !return ****. But if the situation takes a different turn I will speak to the Senior Staff and provide evidence on the troopers warn and depending on the Senior Staffs opinion, They would either say that the warn I have given the trooper was fine or I would remove which I will bring the trooper using !bring **** and apologise for the minor inconvenience removing his warn and then return the trooper using the command !return **** 3. A user has threatened to DDos and take down the server. What do you do? I would ban the user using the command !ban '****' 0 "DDOS threat" and make sure that I take several screenshots or record a video of him saying that so if I do get approached by a Senior Staff or admin, I will provide them with the evidence for his ban. 4. A Commander and Lieutenant are arguing in front of debrief. It is getting quite heated. The context to the argument is unknown to you. What do you do? If the argument is for Roleplay purposes, I will let the security regiments of the server deal with it. However, if this incident is in OOC and is getting out of hand that is when I intervene, I would bring both the Commander and the Lieutenant to a isolated place while we are on the base using the command !bring **** and tell them both to Calm down and tell them "that they shouldn't be acting like this and should be a better example for the newcomers as they are considered the leaders of the server [RP WISE] and should maintain a good reputation" once I have spoken to them I will give them a verbal warning to end it and then return them using the command !return ****. 5.A Cadet has been complaining and wandering around because he hasn't been trained yet. He doesn't appear to have any intent to role play. What do you do? I would bring the cadet back to the training room and would either /COMMS or use /OOC to say "Can a SGT+ come to the training room to train this cadet" Once an SGT comes to the training room I will watch the training season in noclip using the ulx administrate command and see how they act during the training. Once they completed the training session, I will watch over then with the ulx administrate command and see if the minge around or follow the server rules. I would then bring the user to me with !bring [playername] and jail the user with !jail @/playername to avoid being RDMed by the user and once the user is jailed I would then proceed to question them on why they were RDMing and breaking server rules as well as verbally abusing other players. Depending on how many times they RDMed and the degree of insults would be they key factors in how big or small their punishment may be, if they genuinely didn't know the rules and only commited RDMx1 and called other users 'idiot' or 'pathetic' then I would give a verbal warning, explaining the rules of the server to the user and then explaining not to do it again. Should the user decide to carry on with their current behaviour, I would give them an official warn with !warn [playername] [reason]. If the user decided to continue, I would then kick him for his actions !kick [playername] [reason] whilst also notifying other staff as they get on. 2. A user has contested a warn you have given him and proceeds to verbally abuse you, what do you do? I would wait for the user to finish speaking and then calmly explain the reason(s) behind the warn that I have given him, I would then sternly, but calmly ask the user to stop the verbal abuse and verbally warn him that it will result in another warn should he carry on. If the user has calmed down and understood the situation then I will let him carry on, however, if the user continues to verbally abuse me I would warn him with !warn [playername] [verbal abuse of staff]. 3. A user has threatened to DDos and take down the server. What do you do? I would notify s8n, Spirit, Coric or some other higher ranking staff about the situation on the server, I would then go to the bottom of the map and bring the player with !bring [playername] and try to talk to him to calm down the situation and try to figure out a more peaceful solution. If the user continues with his/her behaviour I would ban the user for 24 hours !ban (playername) (time) (reason), should the user continue their behaviour I would give them a permanent ban ulx ban (playername) (Time: 0) 4. A Commander and Lieutenant are arguing in front of debrief. It is getting quite heated. The context to the argument is unknown to you. What do you do? I would remind them both where they are and their ranks and that they should be setting the standard for fellow troopers and those who look up to them. I would then ask them to stop arguing in front of debrief. If the argument continued to escalate I would take myself to another section of the map and bring both users with !bring [playername] and if it is really necessary, then for them to talk about it in a TeamSpeak channel whilst I supervise, I would then ask them to explain why they were arguing and I would provide my input and help resolve the situation without any dramas. 5. A Cadet has been complaining and wandering around because he hasn't been trained yet. He doesn't appear to have any intent to role play. What do you do? I would make my way to the cadet room and bring the cadet to me with !bring [playername] and I would then ask him to wait in the cadet room, I'd follow up with that by either sending a message in the OOC chat or in the comms, asking for a SGT+ to make their way to the cadet room to train this cadet. If there were no volunteers I would either select one myself at random OR I would train the cadet myself if I was a SGT+

I completely understand. Situations: 1. A user is RDMing and insulting other users. You are the only staff available to deal with the situation. What do you do? Well first of all i would bring the person in question to a location that is away from people using the command !jailtp 'users name' than I would immediately either put them in a cage to stop them running away or freeze them with my physgun check the logs using !logs than find the number of people he has RDMed and I would also bring the people that he had RDMed using !bring'players names' and get there story, using that information I would !warn for ‘RDM and player disrespect’ and than I would return them using the command !return "user name" and i would tell him that is this behavior continue than I would be forced to take further action and if he continues after the warning than I would probably decide to !ban' Player-name'' Continuing to RDM after warn'. 2. A user has contested a warn you have given him and proceeds to verbally abuse you, what do you do? I would ask them politely and in a calm manner to kindly stop abusing me and for them to calm down, if they calm down then I would explain why he has been warned and I would ask why they disagree with my warning and if it is a fair reason than I will take it up with my superiors and ask them about is, if however, he continues to verbally abuse me then I will ban Name ' verbally abusing Staff' them and the amount of time they will be banned for will be determined by the amount of abuse and the severity of it as well. 3. A user has threatened to DDos and take down the server. What do you do? I would firstly use !bring to bring the person to me and I would explain that DDos threats are a very serious offense and this would result in his being banned but I would let them explain, I would still ban the person however with !ban 'users name' 'DDos threats' 'appropriate time' and then I would make sure to take a screenshot of the chat and if it was said verbally than I would get all the people that heard the person say it and than I would tall an admin that is higher up than me if server owner is not available. 4. A Commander and Lieutenant are arguing in front of debriefing. It is getting quite heated. The context of the argument is unknown to you. What do you do? First I would go to debriefing is I wasn't there already using !goto 'player-name' and then I would get the names of the commander and the lieutenant and I would proceed to a place away from other people, I would then use !bring'commander name' and !bring 'lieutenant' to bring them to me and than I would ask them to calm down, if they don't calm down then I would !gag 'player-name' and get one side of the story and then once I get both sides to the story i will make my final decision but if they did calm down then I would ask what the issue is and I would try to resolve it, once resolved than I would use !return 'Commander' and !return 'Lieutenant' to return them to where they where. 5. A Cadet has been complaining and wandering around because he hasn't been trained yet. He doesn't appear to have any intent to role play. What do you do? First I would find the player using !goto "player name" and then I would try to talk to them about how they need to be trained and if they refuse then I would bring the player to the cadet training room using !bring and then I would tell that they need to be trained to play on this server, then I would call for a sergeant+ to come and train the cadet and if no one comes to help then I will train him/her myself. if the cadet still doesn't want to role play then I will warn him with !warn Player "No Intent to Role-play" and if he STILL will not roll play than I will kick him with would open the ULX menu using !menu or using the key bind that I set up previously and I would click the kick option and find the players name and press kick so that I get the right person so that is there is a player with a similar name then I wouldn't kick them also because I had already warned him. if the play comes back and decides to continue to not want to role-play than I would have no choice but to [!ban Player Name 1d "No intent to Role-play | Minging"]. I know when i'm in on the server I seem a like i'm a bit mingy but when I am given a responsibility or am in a serious situation I am very serious and take that role and the rules very seriously.

If I am on the server I am usually on the Teamspeak, which is pretty much everyday. Do you understand that as a member of the Staff Team, your position may be subject to change and / or termination should you not be performing to the degree stipulated? I understand. Situations: 1. A user is RDMing and insulting other users. You are the only staff available to deal with the situation. What do you do? I would find an isolated part of the map and [!bring Bob], if they do not cooperate and attempt to shoot at and insult me I would freeze them with my physgun. Once frozen I would check [/Logs] to see who Bob has killed. I would [!bring Victim] and ask their side of the story away from Bob. One at a time, I would repeat the process if there were multiple victims. After hearing the context to the situation I would [!return Victim] and follow up with a warn, [!warn Bob "RDM (x amount of RDMs) | Player disrespect"]. I would then let Bob know that if he continues this behaviour, I would be forced to take further action upon him. Afterwards I would also [!return Bob]. 2. A user has contested a warn you have given him and proceeds to verbally abuse you, what do you do? If this happens during a sit I would insist that he calms down and ask him what he believes to be unfair about the warn given to him. I would explain why he received his ban and why he deserved the warn. If required in the situation I would ask in Admin chat if other staff believed the warn was fair. Once I gain confirmation of the validity of the warn from Admin chat I would inform Bob that he was in the wrong and that his verbal abuse was also a big determining factor of the warn being fair. I would then [!return Bob]. 3. A user has threatened to DDos and take down the server. What do you do? I would [!bring Bob] and tell them that DDoS threats are an extremely serious threat and that this has resulted in him receiving a ban. I would give him a chance to explain himself but I would still [!ban Bob "DDoS threat"] as it is a serious threat nevertheless. I would collect evidence from other players and shadowplay the sit and present them to senior staff who can further deal with the situation. 4. A Commander and Lieutenant are arguing in front of debrief. It is getting quite heated. The context to the argument is unknown to you. What do you do? I would go to an isolated area of the map and [!bring Commander] and [!bring Lieutenant] then explain that as high ranking players they should know better than to argue in front of debrief and should be setting a better example for the others. I would ask what the issue was by asking each of them their side of the story. After meditating the situation I would give both of them a verbal warning and tell them punishments would be inevitable if this behaviour continued. I would then [!return Commander] and [!return Lieutenant]. 5. A Cadet has been complaining and wandering around because he hasn't been trained yet. He doesn't appear to have any intent to role play. What do you do? If I wasn't near the Cadet, I would [!goto Bob] and introduce myself. I would let them know that I will be taking them to the Cadet Room for them to be trained. After walking them back to the Cadet Room I would then train them myself if I am SGT+, if not I would ask someone who is capable of training difficult cadets. If they continue to minge and fail to listen I would verbally warn them that if their current behaviour and attitude persists, they will not be able to stay and enjoy the server. If the behaviour continues I would [!ban Bob 1d "No intent to roleplay | Minging"]. Thanks for taking your time going through this application.

After being a part of the community for a while, I think it’s about time I give back. I want to be able to help everyone out as much as possible and generally make the Gateway experience better for everyone. Do you believe you're able to deal with individuals and situations in a completely unbiased manner? Yes, I am used to dealing with issues without being biased. If a mate of mine is breaking the server rules, they’ll be treated exactly the same as anyone else. Do you use our Teamspeak server often? If I’m on the server, I’m on Teamspeak. If I’m not on the server but I’m on my laptop, I’m probably still on Teamspeak talking to people. Do you understand that as a member of the Staff Team, your position may be subject to change and / or termination should you not be performing to the degree stipulated? Of course. Situations: 1. A user is RDMing and insulting other users. You are the only staff available to deal with the situation. What do you do? Firstly, I would use /logs to determine if the user had actually been RDMing anyone else. Upon find that they have in fact been RDMing, I would !bring Name them to an isolated area so I could first hear from them why they were RDMing and insulting people. If they admit to it, I would !warn for ‘RDM and player disrespect’. If they deny committing either offence, I would !bring Name the person/persons that wrote the ticket and ask them what happened. If it can be confirmed that the offender is lying, the !warn will also include lying to staff. If the person has only been insulting other users, they will receive a verbal warn before an official server warn. If it is found that the user has not committed any of the above offences, the matter will be dropped. If the individual that wrote the ticket creates more untrue tickets, I would verbally warn them to stop. Of course, after dealing with the situation I would !return Player. 2. A user has contested a warn you have given him and proceeds to verbally abuse you, what do you do? I would calmly ask them to stop abusing me, and for them to then explain to me, politely, why they think the warn is unjust. I would also give them the option of speaking to a higher ranked staff member, but emphasize that I would rather deal with the issue myself. If they continue to abuse me unjustly, I would !warn Name ‘Disrespecting staff’. If the situation continues to worsen after this, I would !ban Name 'Disrespecting Staff'. The amount of time they would be banned for would depend on the severity of the abuse. 3. A user has threatened to DDos and take down the server. What do you do? I would !ban Player ‘DDoS threat’, then take screenshots of the threats if they were done over chat. If the threats were verbal, I would gather the people who heard the threat and call in an admin or the server owner if possible, as I believe the severity of the situation would warrant an Admin+ to oversee it. 4. A Commander and Lieutenant are arguing in front of debrief. It is getting quite heated. The context to the argument is unknown to you. What do you do? I would first listen in to see if the argument was in character or out of character. If it is in character, I would leave the issue for CG/NSD/Advisor to deal with. If the argument is out of character, I would !bring Player both the Commander and the LT to a remote location. I would proceed to tell both Users to calm down and deal with this issue civilly in a private setting, rather than making a scene in front of the server. I would then tell them that as a Commander and LT they should know better than to start an argument like that in front of everyone, and that it is extremely disrespectful to the EM who is trying to do their job. I would then !return Player for both of them, then watch to ensure they don’t just continue the argument. 5. A Cadet has been complaining and wandering around because he hasn't been trained yet. He doesn't appear to have any intent to role play. What do you do? I would !bring Player to the cadet room and tell them that I can ask for a sergeant to come and train them, and if no-one arrives I can train them myself. If the cadet shows that they do not intend to wait and be trained, I will verbally warn them that they must be trained and if they don’t comply it could result in a punishment. If they continue to disobey, I would !warn Player No Intent to RP. If even after this they don’t comply, I would !kick Player No Intent to RP. Disclaimer: I've never tried anything like this before so please give me as much constructive feedback as possible.

A Commander and Lieutenant are arguing in front of debrief. It is getting quite heated. The context to the argument is unknown to you. What do you do? If the argument is for the event I would let CG deal with it but if it was OOC I would go to a remote area and bring both players (!bring Player) then separate them and with a calm but stern voice I would tell them to deal with this matter in private (TS or in bunks) and this is not what a Captain and a Lieutenant should be doing in a public place and how they should be setting a better example to their troopers, I would give both of them a verbal warning and return them (!return). 5. A Cadet has been complaining and wandering around because he hasn't been trained yet. He doesn't appear to have any intent to role play. What do you do? I would bring the cadet to the cadet room and either say in chat (/comms or /ooc) there is a cadet can a SGT+ come and train him or just bring a SGT+ at random and get them to train the cadet and watch in noclip (ulx administrate key bind) to see how the cadet does. (Minimum of 14 years of age.): 22 List your current playtime: 1046.2 Hours Are you willing to learn new ways to approach situations? Ofcourse. Do you have any active warns? No. Do you have a problem with any of our current staff members? Negatory. Requirements: Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:38015118 Steam Profile Link: https://steamcommunity.com/id/Serbacus/ Current in game alias: Capatain Lez (Unassigned) Padawan Serbo How known are you on a scale of 1-10 (10 being everyone knows you): I'd have no honest clue as of recent. Probably the 6-7/10 mark. How will you becoming a moderator make an impact on the community? Generally just being an extra pair of hands to help out during peak times aswell as being a main hand in dealing with newer minging players as they are generally under my jurisdiction. Do you believe you're able to deal with individuals and situations in a completely unbiased manner? I'd like to believe I am quite capable of doing that. Do you use our Teamspeak server often? I'm on there generally daily, I make it a point to jump on and be easily contactable if needed. Do you understand that as a member of the Staff Team, your position may be subject to change and / or termination should you not be performing to the degree stipulated? Yes. Situations: 1. A user is RDMing and Insulting other users. You are the only staff available to deal with the situation. What do you do? Firstly I'd "!bring (Player)" or "!jailtp (Player)" to a private/secluded location away from other players. and check /logs to see the kills/damage the player has dealt to other players aswell as chatlogs. I'd have a chat & inform the player that they have broken server rules and are going to receive a warn for their misconduct and issue a "!warn (Player) RDMx(how many kills), Player disrespect." I'd have a chat afterwards tell them to clean up their act or they will be dealt further punishment. I'd "!return (Player)" after a determined amount of time to the point where I think the player has calmed down and is willing to go back and play the server properly. After "!return(ing) (Player)" I'd watch over the player for a extended amount of time in "administrate" to ensure that no further misconduct/abuse happens. In the case that more RDM occurs. I'd "!bring (Player)" and inform them that they've refused to listen to staff and have gone and broken the server rules once again and they'll be receiving a 3day ban, I'd issue "!warn (Player) Multiple RDM's Refusal to listen to Staff. Ban." and then "!ban (Player) 3d Multiple RDM's Refusal to listen to Staff. Come back in 3 days if you are serious about playing." 2. A user has contested a warn you have given him and proceeds to verbally abuse you, what do you do? I'd begin by "!bring(ing) (Player)" to a private area away from the other players on the server and ask them to ease up on the verbal abuse as it is uncalled for and continuing to do so will not help their case, I'd listen to their reasoning as to why they believe it is unjust and if its with in reason such as new information, etc I'd act upon it within reason. If the Player does continue to verbally abuse me I'd "!gag (Player)" and let them know that, I will not allow their behaviour continue and if it does I will enact further punishment from what they have received initially, going from "!warn (Player) Player Disrespect, failing and refusing to listen to staff" to a Kick, assuming the player still then refuses to behave in a orderly manner with a "!kick (Player) Player disrespect, Refusal to abide by server rules and listen to staff.)" if it gets really serious when he returns and continues the charade, I'd issue a 1day Ban and tell them to cool off before they return with "!ban (Player) 1d Constant player disrespect, Refusal to listen to staff even after being kick, (+Original Warn reason)" 3. A user has threatened to Ddos and take down the server. What do you do? Immediately "!ban (Player) 0 DDOS Threat" (Or the longest time I am able to ban the player for.) And then would immediately report it to Executive Server Staff if available at the time and inform other Staff on the server that the threat has been made. 4. A Commander and Lieutenant are arguing in-front of debrief. It is getting quite heated. The context to the argument is unknown to you. What do you do? I'd firstly "!bring (Player/s)" to a private area and separate the two for the time being, and start to gather the bits of the story from both sides and then bring them back together and inform them if they continue to argue like petulant children some punishment may occur. I'd inform them that their behaviour is completely unacceptable on the server especially for people of their stature on the server. I'd try with my reason to resolve the conflict between the two there and then if no desired outcome to the scenario I'd inform them to discuss it privately and spare the server and its players the drama. I'd then "!return (Player/s)" and briefly watch over them in "administrate" or "!cloak 0" to ensure that no further arguing occurs. In the event they continue the arguing I'd !bring (Offending Player/s) inform them they are getting a 1hour Ban to cool off or Settle it privately and off the server. and proceed to "!warn (Player) Refusal to listen to staff (1hour Ban)" and then. !ban (Player) 1h Refusal to listen to staff." 5. A Cadet has been complaining and wondering around because he hasn't been trained yet. He seems like a minge to you and you're not sure if he is really here to play. What do you do? Starting with a !bring (Player) back to the cadet training area and inform the player they are to await until a instructor has arrived. I'd then post in OOC that a cadet is in need of training and ask if there is a SGT+ available to perform said training. After !bring(ing) said trainer I'd watch over the cadets training in "!cloak 0" or "Administrate" and observe for any minging if the player is being rather difficult to deal with and refusing to be trained I'd inform them if they refuse to be trained and keep up their act they will be banned. If said scenario continues and Cadet is continuing their act I'd issue a "!warn (Player) (for said offense)" and then onto a "!ban (Player) 1d No intent to RP, Come back in 1day if you are serious about playing" if the situation doesn't improve. In the event that there is no SGT+ available, or I determine he'd be to much of a burden to place on someone I'd take it on myself to train the said cadet and follow the similar steps as stated above. Closing Notes: Please feel free to add any feedback on how I can perhaps improve the application or just any feedback on my ingame performance. Lastly, thanks for reading my application.

Do you believe you're able to deal with individuals and situations in a completely unbiased manner? Being in CG I've had to deal with RP situations without Bias so I believe I can. Do you use our Teamspeak server often? Yes. I use teamspeak everytime I get on my PC to talk to people on the server. Do you understand that as a member of the Staff Team, your position may be subject to change and / or termination should you not be performing to the degree stipulated? I completely understand. Situations: 1. A user is RDMing and insulting other users. You are the only staff available to deal with the situation. What do you do? I would !bring the user who made the ticket to the top of the venator or somewhere quiet and allow the user to explain what has happened, I would then check /logs to see if the accused trooper was actually rdming and if the logs has evidence of him RDMing I would then !bring and !jail @ him to prevent the trooper from shooting me or the other player. I would then hear what the jailed trooper has to say after hearing him out depending on the amount of people killed I would either. A. !warn [player] RDM / disrespecting other users. and return him and watch him for a while. or B. !ban [player] MassRDM / disrespecting other users. 2. A user has contested a warn you have given him and proceeds to verbally abuse you, what do you do? I would explain the reason I gave them the warn and allow them to explain to me as to why they do not deserve the warn and try to cool things down as to stop the verbal abuse I am receiving if they user continues to verbally abuse I would verbally warn them that if they continued the abuse I would !warn them with staff disrespect. Hopefully by then they have calmed down and accepted the first warn and it doesn't result in a second warn. 3. A user has threatened to DDos and take down the server. What do you do? I would !ban Threatening to DDos the server. as a DDos threat isn't to be taken lightly and should be acted on immediately. I would then explain to any higher ranks available that I had banned someone for Threatening to DDos the server, giving them the opportunity to raise the ban to a permanent. 4. A Commander and Lieutenant are arguing in front of debrief. It is getting quite heated. The context to the argument is unknown to you. What do you do? I would private message the both of them that they should stop the argument and continue it in private and if they continued the argument I would !bring them both to a secluded area and explain to them both that they are expected to uphold a standard of maturity in front of the other troopers and to take the argument to TS or discord and stop disrupting the briefing, I would then return them to the briefing and keep an eye on them both. 5. A Cadet has been complaining and wandering around because he hasn't been trained yet. He doesn't appear to have any intent to role play. What do you do? I would send out a comms to the Sergeants of the server that there is a trainee that needs training and after a sergeant has appeared I would go into !ulxadministrate (I'd have a bind) and I would watch the trooper being trained and if the trooper continues to minge and make the training hard for the SGT I would verbally warn them and threaten them with a !warn and if they continued I would then warn them with !warn NITRP I would then allow the Sgt to continue with the training and continue to watch the trainee.

Do you believe you're able to deal with individuals and situations in a completely unbiased manner? I believe I would handle situations as well as I could, as well as that I would put aside any bias' I may have and work to fix the situation. Do you use our Teamspeak server often? Everyday, whenever I open my computer. Do you understand that as a member of the Staff Team, your position may be subject to change and / or termination should you not be performing to the degree stipulated? I understand. Situations: 1. A user is RDMing and insulting other users. You are the only staff available to deal with the situation. What do you do? (For ease of understanding the person RDM'ing will be named Jeff.) I would go to a area on the map where it is secluded and [!bring "Jeff "], if he is not compliant and starts to either run away or try shoot me I would use my physgun to freeze Jeff, once Jeff is dealt with I would check [/Logs] and check to see who he had killed, I would then [!bring "Victim"] and talk to him to see if it was provoked or un-provoked. After the evidence has been sorted through I would [!return "Victim"] and follow with a warn, [!warn Jeff (However many people he RDM'ed)|Player Abuse.], I would then inform Jeff that if he continues this behaviour futher action will be placed onto him. After talking to him I would [!return 'Jeff"] 2. A user has contested a warn you have given him and proceeds to verbally abuse you, what do you do? I'm going to assume this is during or after a sit, if this is going on while this user is in a sit I would ask him to calm down and ask him to explain to me why he thinks the warning is unfair, I would explain to him why the warning was given to him and also explain why he deserved it. If needed I would ask in Admin chat if they thought the warn was fair, once the issue is resolved I would [!return "User"] 3. A user has threatened to DDos and take down the server. What do you do? I would first [!bring "User"] and make it very clear that threats to DDOS are extremely serious and for this he will be recieving a ban, I would then give him a chance to explain himself but neverless would still [!ban "User" "DDOS Threat."], I would get screenshots and any other evidence I can and pass it onto senior staff to deal with it further. 4. A Commander and Lieutenant are arguing in front of debrief. It is getting quite heated. The context to the argument is unknown to you. What do you do? If CG isn't already dealing with it and it is getting out of control I would go to a secluded area of the map away from the debrief room and [!bring "User"] and inform them that they as higher ranks in the community should know that what they are doing is wrong and if they wanted to argue do it privately not infront of debreifing, I would then ask them what they are arguing about and help put the issue to rest, after talking to both of them I would give them both a verbal warning and [!return "User"] 5. A Cadet has been complaining and wandering around because he hasn't been trained yet. He doesn't appear to have any intent to role play. What do you do? I would teleport to the cadet training room and [!bring 'Cadet"], I would then inform him that before they can be able to run around they needs to be trained, I would then train the cadet myself and if I wasn't SGT+ I would ask someone I know who is capable of dealing with these kinds of cadets to train the cadet, if I was training the cadet I would train them like I normally train cadets, if for whatever reason they continue minging I would give him a verbal warning that if they continues to be a minge they will have no place here on Gateway. If they still continue to minge I would procced to [!ban "Cadet" 1 day "NITRP | Minge"], if I chose to let someone else train the cadet I would [!administrate] and watch over the training and if they continue to minge I would go through the same warnings and ban as above. Note: Cheers for reading my application.

I am willing to test my stress. Always Do you have a problem with any of our current staff members? No (Not that I am aware of but something came up a while ago) Requirements: Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:79251042 Steam Profile Link: https://steamcommunity.com/id/JamWay/ Current in game alias: JamWay, Black, Wayne Sinad, 1717 How known are you on a scale of 1-10 (10 being everyone knows you): 8/10 How will you becoming a moderator make an impact on the community? In the past I have played on the server for fun but never really contributed to it. Now that I have matured I can see why so many staff loved their roles, I want to be able to give back to the community. I have been Staff of Gateway in the past for the TTT server and wish to contribute to starwarsrp. Over the past few months I have learned a lot, I always thought that being a minge in the past wouldn’t get me staff but if anything it makes me understand it better, Coming from that position I can be unbiased and make just decisions, I can also determine between someone having a laugh and someone genuinely trying to ruin other peoples fun. Over time I have also learned to be patient, I never usually jump to conclusions and like to wait things out or observe. I also try to steer away from the server drama especially server drama involving staff, I know this can trickle down to the playerbase making the server a lot less enjoyable for players. Do you use our Teamspeak server often? I never get on the server without logging into TS first Situations: 1. A user is RDMing and Insulting other users. You are the only staff available to deal with the situation. What do you do? /LOGS !goto “RDMER” To see if I can witness anything !bring “RDMER” To secluded area, I would then !freeze the RDMer and !bring the victims, I would ask details and for any evidence. If its an absolute that the user was RDMing and insulting I would !warns (RDMING/Verbally abusing players) or verbally warn depending on the situation. Then !return The users. 2. A group of users have confronted you and explain how another user was breaking some server rules earlier (RDMing and Climb Swep abusing). The users threaten that they want immediate action otherwise they will leave the server. What do you do? !bring “Rulebreaker” then as for both sides, (Any evidence ect) Two situations (Evidence is shown) !Logs !Warns “Rulebreaker” (RDMing/ Climbswep abuse) Then !Return (No evidence) /Logs I would verbally warn the “Rulebreaker” And !Return I would !administrate And follow the “Rulebreaker” If I catch them breaking rules I would !Warns “Rulebreaker” (Rules broken*) However if the “Rulebreaker” does not break any rules I will keep an eye out for a while until I deem that they are a genuine player. (Both situations) Speak to the users and attempt to calm them. !Bring them to the top of the ship and attempt to calm them, Ask for their side and tell them I will deal with it. Make them avoid eachother 3. A user has threatened to Ddos and take down the server. What do you do? !bring “DDOSER” I would Explain the Ddosing is very serious and would result in a perm ban. If they explain that they were joking or that it was out of frustration I would sort the situation out. But threats are still a threat so I would still !ban “DDOSER” for a few days. If the threat was legitimate I would immediately !ban “DDOSER” 0 Threatening to DDOS is illegal and should never be considered Ok. And report it to a Senior admin or an executive member. 4. A Commander and Lieutenant are arguing infront of debrief. It is getting quite heated. The context to the argument is unknown to you. What do you do? !bring both ask for both sides Two situations (The argument was roleplay related) First I would ask if it is Event related in @ chat, Then would pm the commanders to ask if it is roleplay related. I would let them continue in private until it is resolved if it gets out of hand I would take action to separate them until a resolution can be made (The argument was OOC) I would demand that they resolve it or I would take action, If it is a simple argument I would separate them and tell them to avoid each other, If it is a petty argument and threats are made I would give verbal warnings, If they continue to argue after the warnings I would !warns Accordingly. Everyone should have the right to resolve an argument especially if it is just a misunderstanding or silly dispute. However threats should be taken seriously since we value all players on the server. 5. A Cadet has been complaining and wondering around because he hasn't been trained yet. He seems like a minge to you and you're not sure if he is really here to play. What do you do? Train him myself, If he “Minges” I will give a verbal warning explaining that if he doesn’t want to RP he should just leave. If he continues to minge I would warn. If it’s Pure minging I would ban. All players deserve a fair and equal judgement no matter what you see them as, I do believe in second chances but if someone abuses that then they don’t deserve to be on the server. Extra Please provide feedback, Any is appreciated I really do want to build myself. But please make it detailed
  22. Clone Wars Moderator Application Template Prerequisites: Do you have Teamspeak 3 Installed? Yes Do you enjoy helping other people? Yes Are you willing to test your stress? Yes Age?: 17 List your current playtime: 1,627 Are you willing to learn new ways to approach situations? Yes Do you have any active warns? I have 1 Active warn which is a test warn from a fake tmod sit that I helped in. Do you have a problem with any of our current staff members? No Requirements: Steam ID: STEAM_0:1:124460494 Steam Profile Link: http://steamcommunity.com/id/Alluhyah/ Current in game alias / rank: Walon Vau / A’den Skirata / Kom'rk Skirata How known are you on a scale of 1-10 (10 being everyone knows you): 8-9 How will you becoming a moderator make an impact on the community? I feel that with my prior experience on the server as a Senior Admin along with other staffing experiences on other servers and with my activity, I feel as though I will be able to bring my knowledge of staffing to help the community and teach it to newer or current staff members that require it. I’m also a pretty calm person and take most situations seriously when a serious approach is needed. Do you believe you're able to deal with individuals and situations in a completely unbiased manner? Everyone is at least a little bit biased, but I feel as though I keep things as unbiased as I am capable of when friends and people I know well are involved. Do you use our Teamspeak server often? Everyday. Do you understand that as a member of the Staff Team, your position may be subject to change and / or termination should you not be performing to the degree stipulated? I understand Situations: 1. A user is RDMing and insulting other users. You are the only staff available to deal with the situation. What do you do? I would use /logs and to check the extent of the users RDM and then also use !watchlist to see if they have been placed on the watchlist for any prior altercations with the staff team or the server in general, then <!jailtp [user]> to prevent them from running away. I would then proceed to ask the user why they were RDMing to see if there was something that instigated the RDM. I would then confront the people that the user was insulting to gain some evidence of the insults or gain further backstory to the situation. Once dealt with I would proceed to <!warn [user] RDMx#> or <!ban [user] #> depending on the extent of their RDM. If proof of them verbally abusing other players is brought forward I would add Player abuse to their warn or their ban reason depending on the situation. If there was a lead up problem that caused the player to RDM someone, after dealing with the RDMer I would then bring the users that the RDMer brought forward and question them as to why they did those specific things to the player. If what the players did is found to be against the rules they would then also receive a warning for whatever it was they did. 2. A user has contested a warn you have given him and proceeds to verbally abuse you, what do you do? I would <!bring [user]> and ask the user to calm down and explain to me why they believe the warn is unjustified and then proceed to explain to them why I believe the warning is justified and explain to them that what they did breaks the server rules. If they continue to verbally abuse me I would warn them again for Staff Abuse and them return them to their playtime and ignore any further insults towards myself. If they begin breaking more rules I would follow the !warn, !kick, !ban rule. If they explain to me how the warn is false I would apologize to them for issuing a false warning and then request a Senior Admin+ (or whoever is able to remove warns) to remove the warn from the players profile. And again apologise before returning <!return [user]> them back to their original position. 3. A user has threatened to DDos and take down the server. What do you do? <!ban [user] 0>. Since any and all DDoS threats should be taken seriously and it is a violation of server rules. 4. A Commander and Lieutenant are arguing in front of debrief. It is getting quite heated. The context to the argument is unknown to you. What do you do? I would them both <!bring [user]> away from debrief to prevent any further interruptions. I would then offer to try and help solve and issues they may have and attempt to mediate the situation, or request that they take their discussion into a private Teamspeak or Discord channel where they can resolve the issue between themselves. I would also request that any further issues between them doesn’t break out on the server in the public eye due to their roles as high ranking officers. If it is an RP situation that the two are involved in I would leave it alone and allow it to be solved in-character. 5. A Cadet has been complaining and wandering around because he hasn't been trained yet. He doesn't appear to have any intent to role play. What do you do? I would <!bring [user]> back to the cadet room and explain to them that they need to stay in the cadet room and then explain to them that in order to get a trainer, they need to use /comms I need a trainer. I would then watch over the cadet during their training should a Sergeant arrive. If no sergeants do I would call for a Sergeant+ to the cadet room to train the cadet, or if no one shows, either bring one to train them or train them myself. If during the training they continue to show mingy behaviour I would give them a verbal warning requesting they stop, and then proceed to !warn, !kick, !ban should they continue.

I believe that I would be able to make a positive effect on the server with a staff position via responding to tickets efficiently and dealing with any staff issues people may have. Do you believe you're able to deal with individuals and situations in a completely unbiased manner? Yes, I believe I can. Do you use our Teamspeak server often? Pretty much whenever I'm on my PC. Do you understand that as a member of the Staff Team, your position may be subject to change and / or termination should you not be performing to the degree stipulated? I do. Situations: 1. A user is RDMing and insulting other users. You are the only staff available to deal with the situation. What do you do? First I would head to a secluded place on the map such as the top of the map and I would use !jailtp [player] to bring them to me and make sure they can't kill me in the process. I would then proceed to ask their reason for the RDM. As they explain themselves I would be checking /logs to find out exactly who they RDMed and I'd also be checking for any previous warns using !warns [player]. Once they finish telling me what happened from their side of the story and I've finished checking the logs, if they did indeed RDM I would then warn them for RDM using !warn [player] RDM and then !return [player]. once I return them, if I feel like it's necessary I would watch them using !cloak 0. 2. A user has contested a warn you have given him and proceeds to verbally abuse you, what do you do? I would pull him away to a secluded area using !bring [player] and would then ask why he thinks the warn is incorrect. As they are verbally abusing me, I would most likely wait until they tire themselves out and get bored of yelling. If he doesn't stop with the verbal abuse I would then threaten to give him another warn. I would go through /logs to see if any claims he may make are true while he's verbally abusing me. I would also make sure the player doesn't have any prior warnings for similar behavior using !warns [player]. if they are not substantial and there is no evidence from the logs that confirm his side of the story, I would inform him that while he may not like it, the warn will remain in place. Once we sort it all out I would then !return [player] and keep an eye on him using !cloak 0 because if he minged once, he'll most likely do it again. 3. A user has threatened to DDos and take down the server. What do you do? I would ban the player using !ban [player] threat of DDos. Once I had banned the individual, I would make sure I notify a senior member of staff to ensure my actions were correct. 4. A Commander and Lieutenant are arguing in front of debrief. It is getting quite heated. The context to the argument is unknown to you. What do you do? First I would remind them that PTS is active (in character) if they continued to argue I would use noclip to move to another area of the ship and use !bring [player] on the both of them. then I would ask them to cut it out as they were clearly disrupting the briefing. Then I would remind them that they are officers and their actions will rub off on their troopers. I would then !return [player] on both of them and monitor the situation closely. 5. A Cadet has been complaining and wandering around because he hasn't been trained yet. He doesn't appear to have any intent to role play. What do you do? I would use !bring [player] on the cadet and return him to the training room. I would then explain to him that he needs to be trained before he can roam about the ship. Once I had explained that, I would request a SGT+ in /comms. if no one shows up, I would train the cadet myself to ensure that he was going to take the server seriously and not minge. If a trainer shows up I would watch the situation ensuring the cadet wants to be trained using !cloak 0.

No Requirements Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:54183047 Steam Profile Link: https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198068631822/ Current in game alias / rank: Bardan Skirata How known are you on a scale of 1-10 (10 being everyone knows you): I believe about 7-8 as Tacit and about 8-10 as Bardan How will you becoming a moderator make an impact on the community? I believe due to my previous experience, my activity and my willingness to help others, I will be able to have a positive impact on the Gateway Gaming community Do you believe you're able to deal with individuals and situations in a completely unbiased manner? Yes Do you use our Teamspeak server often? Yes, I use Teamspeak every time I turn on my computer Do you understand that as a member of the Staff Team, your position may be subject to change and / or termination should you not be performing to the degree stipulated? Yes Situations: 1. A user is RDMing and insulting other users. You are the only staff available to deal with the situation. What do you do? Firstly I would go to a secluded area and Jail tp (!jailtp name) the offender (Greg) to stop the RDMing and insulting of others. I would then ask Greg as to why they are RDMing/insulting others. After hearing Greg's side of the story, I would then check logs (/logs) to see who Greg was RDMing/insulting. I would then bring (!bring name) those who Greg was RDMing/insulting and ask for their side of the story (if there were multiple, I would move away and question them individually). After hearing both sides of the story I would determine who was in the wrong based on logs as well as both of their sides of the story (For this situation, Greg is in the wrong). I would then inform Greg of why he is getting warned and what he should have done instead of RDMing/insulting others. I would then warn Greg for RDM and player disrespect (!warn Greg RDM (x the amount of RDM offences)| player disrespect). I would then dismiss the people Greg RDMed/insulted by returning them (!return name). Greg, being a compliant and nice person, would then be returned (!return Greg). 2. A user has contested a warn you have given him and proceeds to verbally abuse you, what do you do? (If we are still in a sit) I would remain calm and ask them kindly to stop verbally abusing me. After they have stopped abusing me, I would then ask them as to why they believe the warn they received is unfair. If the warning is unfair: I would remove the warn and apologise for false warning them, I would then request for them to not verbally abuse staff in the future as they may get punished for that as well. I would then return them (!return name). If the warning is fair: I would inform them of why the warning is fair, I would then kindly inform them that abusing a staff member is not allowed and if they do it again they will be punished. If they insist that the warning is still unfair, I would try to get a second opinion from another staff member or direct them to the staff report section on the forums. After the situation is somewhat resolved, I would then return them (!return name). 3. A user has threatened to DDos and take down the server. What do you do? I would ban the user (!ban name 0 "DDoS threat") and collect evidence (screenshots) of the threat. I would then inform a senior staff member about the incident, provide them with evidence.. 4. A Commander and Lieutenant are arguing in front of debrief. It is getting quite heated. The context to the argument is unknown to you. What do you do? If the argument was in character: I would let CG handle it. If the argument was out of character: I would go to a secluded area and bring (!bring name) the two offenders. I would then inform them what they did was wrong as, due to their higher ranks, they should be setting a better example for the rest of the players. I would then attempt to mediate and resolve their dispute by asking for both of their sides of the story. After the issue is (hopefully) resolved, I would give them both a verbal warning stating that if this happens again they would both be punished. I would then return (!return name) both of them. 5. A Cadet has been complaining and wandering around because he hasn't been trained yet. He doesn't appear to have any intent to role play. What do you do? I would teleport to them (!goto name) and introduce myself to them. I would then inform them that I will be bringing them back to the Cadet Room for them to be trained (either walk there with them or tp them there, depending on the distance). After arriving at the Cadet Room, I would then casually inform them that they will be trained and after they get trained they will be whitelisted to clone trooper and will be able to participate in the Roleplay (through experience, I find getting on 'their level' through casual conversation and loosening up a bit has better results instead of being completely strict). I would then either call a SGT+ to the cadet room or train them myself (most likely myself if I was SGT+). If I trained them myself: I would go through the standard cadet training as if it was a normal cadet. If they continue to be mingy I would verbally warn them stating if they do not wish to listen they will not be able to stay on the server. If they still continue to minge, I would ban them for a day (!ban minge 1d "No intent to roleplay | minging"). If a SGT+ trained them: I would wait for a SGT+ to come to the cadet room, I would then introduce the SGT+ to the cadet and inform them they are here to train them ("Cadet, this is SGT Beedo. He is here to train you.") I would then pm the SGT+, informing them that the cadet might not be here to roleplay and if he needs assistance to pm me (!pm beedo the cadet seems kinda mingey and might not be here to roleplay so if you need help just pm me). I would then leave them to be trained (either by leaving the cadet room or returning myself with !return ^). If i get a pm from the SGT+ requesting assistance, I would go to the cadet (!goto cadet) and inform them that if they continue to minge they would be punished. I would then watch the training in administrate (!administrate). If the cadet still continues to minge, I would ban them for a day (!ban minge 1d "No intent to roleplay | minging").
  25. Do you have TS3 Installed? Yes Do you enjoy helping other people? Yes, I enjoy helping others whenever I get the chance Are you willing to test your stress? Yes List your current playtime: My current playtime on the server 3282 hours Are you willing to learn new ways to approach situations? I am always willing to learn new things Do you have a problem with any of our current staff members? Negative Requirements: Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:28242209 Steam Profile Link: https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198016750146/ Current in game alias: 4303 Talon and Jedi Ra'tash How known are you on a scale of 1-10 (10 being everyone knows you): I would say a somewhat solid 7 How will you becoming a moderator make an impact on the community? I am extremely active on the server and have previous staff experience with Gateway, I am always happy to lend a hand or answer tickets and questions when needed Do you use our Teamspeak server often? During my time playing on the server, I am always on the Teamspeak so about 4-10 hours a day Situations: 1. A user is RDMing and Insulting other users. You are the only staff available to deal with the situation. What do you do? I would administrate myself to keep myself from harm then !bring (User) to the top of the map and !jail him, I would then !bring some of the people that were RDMed and insulted to confirm that the situation has actually happened and then ask for any evidence such as screenshots, recordings or logs. Once the victims had told me their side of the story and given any evidence they had I would then listen to the Rdmer and hear what he has to say. After hearing what he had to say about his actions I would !return the other users after thanking them and tell him what he had done wrong and that next time he won't get a second chance next time when he joins the server, I would then !warn (user) reason. Then I would temporarily !ban him for a certain amount of days depending on the extent of rules broken and people he had RDMed. 2. A group of users have confronted you and explain how another user was breaking some server rules earlier (RDMing and Climb SWEP abusing). The users threaten that they want immediate action otherwise they will leave the server. What do you do? I will explain to the users that the problem will be dealt with as soon as possible, I would then ask the users who confronted me if they have any evidence of this player breaking the rules via screenshots, recording, logs etc. I would then !bring the RDMer to a private area and !jail them and then !bring one of the reporters. Firstly asking the reporter to actually explain what the user has done, if the player in question is reported of any type of RDM I would then research further and check the logs, depending on my results gathered from the logs such as a possibility of the reporter actually shooting first and starting the RDM as that person would then be in the wrong and would be framing another player. Regardless of who committed the act, would then either !warn or !ban the player(s) for a certain amount of days depending on the extent of the number of people RDMed. If the situation turns out to be punishable by a !warn or is false entirely then I would !return the users in the sit and give them verbal warnings to not frame others for false accusations or to break server rules. If there is still tension between the players and they continue to give each other trouble depending if they are all in the wrong or one group is I would then !warn them for harassment. 3. A user has threatened to DDos and take down the server. What do you do? I would simply just instant community ban him, as DDos is taken very seriously among staff and the server rules. 4. A Commander and Lieutenant are arguing in front of debrief. It is getting quite heated. The context to the argument is unknown to you. What do you do? I would take both (!tp) players away to a private area and get them to takes turns in telling their part of the story so I could better understand the context of the argument at hand. I would attempt to try and calm and defuse the situation myself and explain to them how acting childish and getting heated in front of troopers not only sets a bad example for them as Officers and players but also sets a bad image on their regiment as they are meant to be role models for troopers in their regiments and new players of the server also that arguments like this can be handled privately. Once the sit is done I would give them both a verbal warning and tell them to reflect on their actions and not continue the argument, if they continue to argue depending on the severity I would either !gag or !mute them or give them a !warn. 5. A Cadet has been complaining and wandering around because he hasn't been trained yet. He seems like a minge to you and you're not sure if he is really here to play. What do you do? I would apologise to him for the wait and let them know that I will go and get them a trainer SGT+ as soon as possible and then !bring them to the cadet room. Once I had gotten a SGT+ to train the cadet I would stick around for a while to see how things go. If I was busy with staff duties I would inform the SGT+ too !p me if anything mingy continues to happen if whilst also occasionally !goto them to see how the training is going. If the cadet in question continues mingy behavior and doesn't have any intention to cooperate I would then stop the training and inform the cadet that if he continues to cause problems that I will have to punish him. If he keeps up with his mingy behavior after being verbally warned I would then simply !warn for FailRP, No intention to be trained or RP etc and then temporarily !ban-ing him as there is always I chance players could change their mind and later on want to invest time into the server.
