How will you becoming a moderator impact our community?
I'd say I am and plan to be extremely active on the Imperial Server. I also hold a massive amount of experience as a staff member on Gateway Gaming Clone Wars RP, I believe I can bring multiple things to the community as a Moderator. From being able to perform the leg-work in doing large quantities of minor tickets, to having experience solving much large and complicated disptues between members of the community. I believe I can solve any issue that arises to ensure that issues anyone would face are solved promptly and to a satisfactory nature.
Do you understand that as a member of the Staff Team, your position may be subject to change and / or termination should you not be performing to the degree stipulated? Do you also understand that a staff role is one that comes with the expectation of commiting time to helping the users of the server (Up to 20 hours a week)?

A user is RDMing and insulting other users. You are the only staff available to deal with the situation. What do you do?
The first thing that should be done is to remove the offending user from the rest of the players, so that people's experience cannot be ruined further. First quickly enter administrate ("!administrate ^", although generally this will be bound) and move towards a discrete location away from the players as to not interfere with their RP. Secondly the offending player would be brought to me. This can be done by using ("!bring/!tp") and moving the RDM'er away from the rest of the players. To prevent myself from being killed, the player will be frozen, either through the use of the physgun or "!freeze (Player Name)".
From here, my actions will vary based on how the RDM'er acts and the severity of his previous actions. All actions will be validated with proof from the logs (/logs) If the RDM'er is co-operative and his actions were not severe:
If this is the case, the first thing to-do would be to check the players history by using !warns. If this is a repeat offender with a long history of warns, firstly a warn would be given, (through the !warns menu as it is already up) then a short ban would be issued (!ban (Player Name) (Time) eg. !ban MemeMan 2d). If the player does not have many warns, then a warn would suffice. (Most likely through the !warns menu, but "!warn MemeMan RDM | Abuse towards other players" also works.) If the RDM'er is co-operative and his actions were severe:
If the offender does allow for me to discuss the situation with them, I would aim to hear their reasoning or rationale for the actions even if it is just as a courtesy. Unless the reasoning is reveloutionary, a ban and a warn would be issued (!ban, !warn). But I would make my best attempt to explain the situation to the RDM'er in a calm and friendly manner, what the implications of the ban and the warn are and how to appeal it if they feel it is wrong. If the RDM'er is not co-operative and his actions were not severe:
The major issue here would be the lack of assurance that the minge would not repeat their actions. If I cannot get assurance that the RDM'er is not going to continue a short ban would be applied, alongside a warn for failing to comply with staff orders. If the RDM'er is not co-operative and his actions were severe:
If despite my best efforts, the RDM'er does not wish to talk or discuss the situation and continues to act out in OOC (eg. Spamming racial slurs) the first action would be to ban the user immediately ("!ban (Player Name) (Time)"), as to stop the OOC spam. From there a warn would be provided, by going to disconnected users and warning through there. The ban time and length would vary based on my staff rank in this hypothetical situation as Moderators do have a maximum ban time. If the offenses are severe enough, I would ask for a higher ranking staff member to extend the ban on my behalf.
A user has contested a warn you have given him and proceeds to verbally abuse you, what do you do?
Regardless of the harsh words it always important to ensure you're able to view your own actions in an unbiased manner. First action would be to attempt to calm down the user, ask them for specific details on why they believe the warn is unfair. If the user fails to calm down: the next course would be to call another Staff Member in, as they may be more receptive to them. If they continue to-do so, then there is little other option then to warn ("!warn MingeMan Abuse towards Staff") and temporarily ban the user ("!ban MingeMan 2h") giving them time to calm down. If I can calm the user down: I would ask them why the believe the warn is unjust. If I am uncertain about my actions, I would ask in admin chat (@ "message") for advice, regardless of rank. If the warn is fair: There is little else I can do, I would offer to seek out a higher-ranking staff member to review it. If the warn is false: Apologize for the poor call, and contact a Senior Member of the staff team to delete the warn for the player.
A user has threatened to DDos and take down the server. What do you do?
DDos threats are to be taken absolutely seriously even if they are intended as a Joke. The user would be banned almost instantly, ("!ban DDosGuy 0"). I would then raise the matter to a member of Senior Staff. Letting them know the details of the individual, and the nature of the threat. Lastly for the sake of record keeping, I would utilize the warns menu and warn the disconnected player. ("Threatening to DDoS Server (Perm Ban)").
A Commander and Lieutenant are arguing in front of debrief. It is getting quite heated. The context to the argument is unknown to you. What do you do?
Before taking a knee jerk reaction and moving both the Commander and Lieutenant away I would listen to see whether the argument is in character or not. If it is, then I would leave the matter to 7th Shock. Only intervening if the argument entered debrief and began to disrupt the Event Master without their permission. If it is not an in-character matter: I would first "!administrate" and move to an isolated area. Then I would take both the Lieutenant and Commander away from the situation using "!bring". From there I would try to resolve the situation with them, asking both sides to explain what exactly the issue is, if necessary I can separate both members to get their sides of the story without interference from the other. Depending on the situation would tailor my response. After the situation I would use !return, to return both members. If neither side can be resolved: I would start with a verbal warning. Asking both parties to cease the argument, and take the matter to IHC for mediation. If the argument continues, gags ("!gag Speaker") and warns would be given for continued failure to listen to staff.
A Cadet has been complaining and wandering around because he hasn't been trained yet. He doesn't appear to have any intent to role play. What do you do?
Despite there not "appearing" to not have any intent, it would be wrong to assume something so quickly. I would return the cadet to the cadet room if somehow they escaped, by using !bring. I would give the cadet a formal welcome to the server, if no SGT+'s require them for their cadet tasks I would train the cadet myself. If not, I would observe over the cadets training to ensure all runs smoothly. If initial impressions with the cadets are correct: and they do prove to be not cooperative. I would give the cadet a verbal warning that they need to follow the instructions of the trainer. If this continues, a "!warn", and punishments increasing severity if this continues. If they do not pose any issues to the trainer: I will return and keep a distant eye on their actions through chatter in OOC.
