  1. Always good for an EM to have a diverse knowledge of his tools, id recommend asking around the server or talking to current EM's for some tips and tricks on how to use the wide range of tools available. Again, a very important skill to have as an EM, however understandable since you have not been a staff member within the GG community. I would recommend again asking around the community and contacting staff members when available to teach a couple of commands and their usage. I personally believe the ability to resolve issues of things not going to plan quickly is a massive factor that can save events and shows the EM's ability to think on the spot. These examples have captured this and show you understand how to savour a situation where the event doesn’t quite go along with your original plan, however you must remember to reinforce this to the players otherwise they may not understand what occurred and this may lead to negative feedback towards your event. Other than the above stated your applications is well made and your event plan listed is very well thought out and delivered in a professional manner. I have seen your attitude and RP in game first hand within Navy and i have no doubts you would make a fine addition to the EM team. It’s a +1 from me, Best of luck with your application
  2. I have been playing SWRP with this guy right here for a long time, and i have no doubts he will be an excellent EM +1
  3. Most of the points I would personally mention have been summarised by Terra within his response, however I do believe as a member of a community it is very important to be known and have a name for yourself. This being said I have witnessed countless individuals come and go within the staff team and build a reputation with the work they put into the server regardless of their position within the community prior to joining the staff team. With this is mind I will remain Neutral for now, and I wish you the best of luck with you application.
  4. It seems there is a fair amount of drama others have witnessed in relation to yourself Kippy however personally i believe you are a dedicated individual and worthy of a position within the staff team +1
  5. Perhaps a little more explanation for each piece of evidence on the details you have put into it and how it will benefit your RP within the server. As stated above by Palmer your PAC skills are basic as it stands (in my opinion). My recommendation is to work with the feedback from others who specialise in PAC and better your own skills. However no doubts with a little detail your PAC abilities will be excellent Neutral for now
  6. Although I am no PAC3 expert I can tell from your evidence you understand the workings of PAC and you will use it wisely to enhance your RP within the server. You also share tips and continue to assist other players to improve their PAC skills and better their own understanding and creations within PAC3. No doubts in my head that you will continue to assist the community in the ways of PAC Well deserved +1
  7. Welcome to the community Taiga
  8. Not that we really get to interact in game often however you seem confident and down to earth. Get involved within different regiment and external areas such as the forums and TeamSpeak/discord to get your name and reputation out within the server and the community. As stated by fellow staff members above your responses could use some more detail, you understand how to deal with the situations however be sure to include the necessary commands and the specific details of how you as an individual would deal with said situations, the minor details are a big driving factor that shows the efforts put in by the individual and therefore show the staff team your motivation for the position. Other than that, your application is well made, best of luck.
  9. Dont want to sounds like a broken record here, however as stated above by numerous members the application does seem very early. Its good to have you back non the less, and i dont doubt your staff experience and prior skills in any way. However i would recommend spending some time getting back into the groove and working on your activity. Regardless it's good to see you back on the server.
  10. Ive seen you around on the server and you are showing the Motivation and involvement required to become a member of the staff team, However as stated by fellow moderators, as you are young and you need to remember to uphold a sense of maturity when it comes to the role. Your application is decent and covers the needed traits, perhaps a bit more detail within your responses such as communication with senior staff members for incidents that are above us such as the DDos threat. I wish you best with your app
  11. Application is strong and it shows you understand the roles of a staff member and your responsibilities. However as detailed above activity is a crucial strength necessary for any staff member, hope on the server get involved within the community and I'm sure your reputation will grow
  12. Current in-game alias/rank: Rear Admiral Lewis "Vortex" Cooper / Acting Agent Seyn Marana Previous Notable Names/Ranks/Positions N/A Steam ID: STEAM_0:1:96547187 Steam Profile Link: https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198153360103 List your current playtime (in hours) on our RP servers: 283 What is your age? (Minimum of 14 years of age.) 21 How well known are you on a scale of 1-10? 6 Do you have Teamspeak 3 installed? Yes Do you enjoy helping other people? Yes Are you willing to test your stress? Yes Do you believe you're able to deal with individuals and situations in a completely unbiased manner? Yes Do you have any problems with any of our current staff members? No Are you willing to learn new ways to approach situations? Yes Do you have any active warns? None How will you becoming a moderator impact our community? Becoming a moderator will allow myself to provide a friendly and approachable character within the community who can deal with issues and enforce rules on the server to encourage and promote gameplay and RP within the servers player base. Do you understand that as a member of the Staff Team, your position may be subject to change and / or termination should you not be performing to the degree stipulated? Do you also understand that a staff role is one that comes with the expectation of commiting time to helping the users of the server (Up to 20 hours a week)? Yes A user is RDMing and insulting other users. You are the only staff available to deal with the situation. What do you do? Firstly, I would Noclip to a private area of the ISD by using !administrate, and then bring the individual to my location and freeze them (!tpjail or !bring). Once there I would then interrogate the user on their perspective of the events, whilst confirming any actions described through the use of !logs. If any secondary perpetrators where involved I would !bring them to the sit and ask them for their side of the story. Once a detailed story has been produced by comparing all sides of the event I would hand out !warns/!bans/!kicks where necessary based on the information from individuals’ explanations and with the evidence from !logs. upon completion of the sit, I would !return the individuals and encourage them to continue playing. A user has contested a warn you have given him and proceeds to verbally abuse you, what do you do? I would Noclip to a secluded area of the map and !bring the user to my location, where I would inform them that abuse towards a staff member is considered a banable offense and will not be tolerated in any situation, upon informing the user I would issue a verbal warning to cease the abuse towards myself. I would then explain to the user that if he strongly feels as if the warn was a mistake, to take the issue up with a more senior staff member, and if the warn was an error on my behalf to work out a situation where the warn is removed and I apologize for my mistake and work to better myself in the future. If the situation grows and the user continues to abuse myself or other staff members I would communicate with senior staff through the use of @ staff chat, and work with them to issue any warns/bans necessary towards the user. A user has threatened to DDos and take down the server. What do you do? I would immediately gain any information towards the user such as profiles and names as an identification tool, and then issue a !ban (user) 0 Ddos Threat. Once the user is banned, I would provide a report to a senior staff member with any related information towards the identification of the user and any evidence of his intentions such as recordings or messages. A Commander and Lieutenant are arguing in front of debrief. It is getting quite heated. The context to the argument is unknown to you. What do you do? First and foremost, I would attempt to control the situation in an RP perspective, however if the situation was taken OOC or the individuals began to show increasing signs of aggression towards each other I would issue a verbal warning to both members and attempt to end the conflict on the spot. If the situation continued I would Noclip to a secluded area and !bring both members to my location, and attempt to gain an understanding on the situation by talking to both individuals about the events leading up to the argument, and the current perspective of the argument as an unbiased middleman. Hopefully by talking to both individuals the argument would be resolved, in which I would !return both members and continue on with RP. Lastly, I would inform both members if they have any further problems or issues to make a ticket and it will be dealt with by a staff member. A Cadet has been complaining and wandering around because he hasn't been trained yet. He doesn't appear to have any intent to role play. What do you do? Firstly, I would Noclip to the recruit room by the use of !administrate, where I would !bring the recruit and explain to him that he should not be wandering around without initial recruit training. I would then attempt to recruit an individual to train the recruit, either by OOC chat or requesting a SGT+ to the recruit room over /comms, where I would oversee the training if necessary or train the recruit myself if needed. If the recruit was showing signs of mingy behaviour or no intent to RP I would first issue a verbal warning towards the player informing them of the rules and detailing the fact that if they continue to mess around, they will receive a warn/ban. If the behaviour continues, I would give the player a !warn for NITRP as detailed in the verbal warning. If after the first warn, the player continues to miss behave and mess around I would freeze them and inform them of the previous warnings they have received, and then issue a 1 day ban for NITRP (! ban *user* 1 NITRP) towards the player, encouraging them to read the server rules and rethinking their behaviour before re-joining the server.
