How known are you on a scale of 1-10?
How will you bring new and creative event ideas to the server?:
I feel like I can add plenty of twists and roleplay elements into my events as well as an ability to improvise when needed. Overall I want to try and create some fun events that can combine multiple elements of RP, defence and offencive styles of plays.
Have you participated in many of our Events?:
Yes, I play in the events regularly with my regiment usually and have been fortunate enough to be given an EC slot so I can do more work in the events.
Are you familiar with Gmod's wide range of NPC tools? (Provide examples):
I am aware of NPC Health, which allows you to alter the health of the NPC. This is a great tool as it can help combat lag if needed. I also have knowledge of NPC relations which can be used to protect EM's and EC's from being shot by hostiles during the events.
Name 3 tools that are at an Event Masters disposal within events and leave a small comment detailing each of their uses:
Prop resizer which can take any prop you place down to change its size like its width and height to make it fit in a particular room, Vanilla's hyperspace tool can make an entity or model appear as though it is traveling through hyperspace and finally vanilla's turbo laser tool. you use this tool to great the effect of Venators and Munificent's battling in the sky's
Are you aware of how much a Gmod server can take or how unstable Gmod truly is?:
I am aware.
Do you understand that you are not allowed to abuse your staff rank's powers outside of events? Provide 3 examples detailing different situations that would be considered abuse:
I do. Spawning in any sort of entity for no particular reason, using the physics gun to minge with players which could result in them being killed, and using my EM power to act as a staff member by giving out tools to other players and banning people.
Do you have any event experience? e.g. played a key character in an event before:
Yes, I have played a few key characters such as a CIS General, as well as a few civilians, prisoners and security guards in many event's in recent weeks.
On a scale of 1-10, how much lore knowledge do you have?
On a scale of 1-10, how familiar are you with ulx commands?
Make a comment regarding the recent events on our server and how they have inspired you to become an event master:
I've just had a lot of fun since joining the server, meeting lots of people and making a fw friends on the way so I want to be able to expand that to some of the more senior people on the server. I have been very impressed by how well all the EM's seem to conduct themselves and it's something that I would like to contribute to.
Do you understand that most events rely mainly on improvisation and mainly nothing goes to plan (ever)?
Yes I do, as I have seen this in many events that I have participated in.
How confident are you in providing briefings, debriefings, and in ensuring you're able to direct players throughout your events?
With the experience I have gained in doing basic debriefs for event leads, I do feel confident in conducting them for a larger gorup.
An event doesn't go to plan and General Grievous is crushed by an elevator. Players are laughing at you. What do you do?
I would TP them away from the area using !bring[Name] and comms in that he has escaped from the area through a vent and continue on with the event and have him show up again later on in the event if there is time to.
A user is bad mouthing your events. How do you react?
I would ask another staff member to speak to them about the situation. I would then ask for feedback on how I could better myself for the situation. I could also ask them what I'm doing wrong and how I can improve. If the feedback is mingy I would ignore it and request a staff to warn them for fail RP. If the feedback is constructive, I would be more then happy to make a note of it and review it in my next event.
You have to go AFK in the middle of an event you are running and there are no backups available. What should you have done to avoid this?
I could ask staff member(s) if they would mind finishing off the event for me and give them a quick run down of how it is all operating. If no staff are available I could try to find a way to cut the event short.
Players and a few staff members are complaining about the amount of lag they're dealing with during your event. How do you resolve this?
I would be able to delete any unused props/entity's that could be causing the lag I could also alter the event to give players fewer hostiles but have their HP increased
To conclude your app. you are required to create and design your own event. This includes planets, maps and stage actions. Include lots of detail in your event design. You are required to involve PassiveRP elements.
