How known are you on a scale of 1-10?
How will you bring new and creative event ideas to the server?:
I would like to create events where as many elements of each regiment are used as much as possible, I would do this by making sure everyone has something to do specialized to their regiment. (Dooms unit defending) (501st/7th sky on the frontline)(ships for RSC) (Vehicles for the regiments that are allowed to have them). I feel this would make the events more enjoyable for everyone because they get to do what they joined their regiment for.
Have you participated in many of our Events?:
I have participated in quite a few events in my time on the server, most of which were events where we attack and hold a base and some were passive RP.
Are you familiar with Gmod's wide range of NPC tools? (Provide examples):
I am quite familiar with the NPC tools as I have had to use them as an EC before
NPC NoTarget: Prevents the player or NPC you are looking at from being targeted by other NPCs, useful for hostile event characters as it will stop them being targeted by their own team
NPC Proficiency: Lets you change how accurate the NPCs are with their weapons, useful for when you want to hold back troopers without lagging the server
NPC Health: Lets you change the health of an NPC to a value of your choosing, useful for making enemies harder to kill and thus better at holding back troopers without lagging the server
Name 3 tools that are at an Event Masters disposal within events and leave a small comment detailing each of their uses:
Tood's Dispenser Tool: Allows you to spawn a drop pod that spawns a set amount of hostile NPCs with stats of your choosing
Vanilla's Hyperspace Tool: Allows you to spawn in and take away ships in a fashion that makes it look like they are either jumping in from hyperspace or jumping to hyperspace
Vanilla's Ship Destruction Tool: Allows you to destroy props in a stylish fashion that causes an explosion to happen and the prop to fall slightly before disappearing, It is simply to make the deletion of ships look cooler
Are you aware of how much a Gmod server can take or how unstable Gmod truly is?:
I am aware of how unstable the game is because I have seen the server crash many times, I understand how easy it is for a server to crash because small things such as a jedi deflecting into another jedi can crash the server. To get around this issue I would make my events have as little props as possible while still being high quality.
Do you understand that you are not allowed to abuse your staff rank's powers outside of events? Provide 3 examples detailing different situations that would be considered abuse:
I do understand that I am simply an EM and not a moderator, This means I am not allowed to hand out tools like a mod, I am not allowed to ban or kick players like a mod and I am not allowed to just spawn things in without a reason.
Do you have any event experience? e.g. played a key character in an event before:
Yes I have played as an EC multiple times before, mostly under Tridents command. I have also played as a sith on one of Rats events too. Nothing too major but enough for me to understand how the EMs operate.
On a scale of 1-10, how much lore knowledge do you have?
On a scale of 1-10, how familiar are you with ulx commands?
Make a comment regarding the recent events on our server and how they have inspired you to become an event master:
The recent events have had alot of passive RP, which I like but I also understand that people like shooting things, so I would like to incorporate both into one so all players can enjoy the experience
Do you understand that most events rely mainly on improvisation and mainly nothing goes to plan (ever)?
Yes I understand this, I am very good at thinking on my feet. If something doesn't go to plan it won't take me long to figure out what to do.
How confident are you in providing briefings, debriefings, and in ensuring you're able to direct players throughout your events?
I am very confident at providing information to players and I am confident that I can lead them to where I want them to go during the event
An event doesn't go to plan and General Grievous is crushed by an elevator. Players are laughing at you. What do you do?
I would delete the body as quickly as possible and play it off like he escaped somewhere else, then I would !bring the EC playing grievous to a separate spot to try and make it as seamless as possible. I don't really care about the players laughing at me cause I would probably be laughing with them.
A user is bad mouthing your events. How do you react?
If it is just nonsense and not constructive feedback I would simply ignore it, but if it is useful information on how I can improve I would take it to heart and do my best to improve as an EM
You have to go AFK in the middle of an event you are running and there are no backups available. What should you have done to avoid this?
I would always make sure I would not have to go AFK before I start an event but if I did have to and there were no backups I would set spawners to spawn enemies while I'm gone to hold the troopers back. Before booking events I would always make sure I am free to host them so this issue doesn't happen in the first place.
Players and a few staff members are complaining about the amount of lag they're dealing with during your event. How do you resolve this?
I would clear bodies, then delete any props that aren't practical and are just there for decoration, If there is still lag after that I would fly around (if it is FPS lag) and find where the lag is happening then I would remove whatever is causing it. If it is server lag I would increase NPC health and spawn less so there is less enemies.
To conclude your app. you are required to create and design your own event. This includes planets, maps and stage actions. Include lots of detail in your event design. You are required to involve PassiveRP elements.
