I have been on the Gateway Gaming community for 5-6 months now, my time has allowed me to meet all different people and personalities new and old. My experiences over this time will be very beneficial to the community, this is due to my positive interactions with others and my ability to help others. I am quite active within the community and love to help others, I am calm and friendly but treat everyone equally and with the respect. I am approachable and polite, anyone who needs help or guidance I help where I can. I have a good knowledge and understanding of the rules and server regulations, and work well in a team as well as being a good leader. My skills are spread across the board and have room for improvements. Overall i believe I would benefit and impact the server in a positive way as a moderator on the Gateway Gaming community. Do you understand that as a member of the Staff Team, your position may be subject to change and / or termination should you not be performing to the degree stipulated? Do you also understand that a staff role is one that comes with the expectation of commiting time to helping the users of the server (Up to 20 hours a week)? Yes A user is RDMing and insulting other users. You are the only staff available to deal with the situation. What do you do? Firstly I would check the logs !logs to see the players and number of players the said offender RDM'd, I would then !bring <Name> to a private location out the way of all RP and question the said offender "I have had reports that you RDM'd other players" From there I would wait for the said offenders response whilst double checking !logs, depending on the active player count on the server and the amount of people the said offender RDM'd I would proceed to base the punishment off that. I would then !bring <Name> the person he player disrespected and ask for the victim's side of the story, if the disrespect was through chat I would check !logs to see what was said. If it was verbal I would ask for video evidence to be provided for proof. If none can be provided I would resolve the situation with a verbal warning, and remind both players of the rules regarding player disrespect. I would then !return @ or !return <Name> both players. A user has contested a warn you have given him and proceeds to verbally abuse you, what do you do? I would remind the player of the rules regarding disrespect by saying "Hey, disrespect is not tolerated. I understand you may be upset with me for the warn I gave you, if you'd like I could show you the rule you broke and if you wish for another staff member I can get one for you to chat with regarding this incident." I would proceed to show the player the rules regarding the one he broke, give the player a reminder on the player disrespect rules. If the player wishes I could provide them with another member of staff to chat with. Once they have finished I would !return @ or !return <Name>. However if the disrespect continued, I would proceed to warn the player !warn <name> Staff disrespect, the player was constantly disrespecting a moderator after a verbal warning was given. I would explain the punishment to them then !return @ or !return <Name>. If the disrespect continued I would ban the player for the appropriate amount of time !ban <name> (Time) NITRP, Staff/Player disrespect continued after multiple warnings. A user has threatened to DDos and take down the server. What do you do? I would !bring <Name> said offender to a private location away from all RP and question him "DDos threats are taken seriously on Gateway Gaming, and result in a more severe punishment" I would then call a senior staff member if available for their judgement of the situation, depending on what the staff member said i would then base my punishment off that most likely a ban. !ban <name> (Time) or using !menu. A Commander and Lieutenant are arguing in front of debrief. It is getting quite heated. The context to the argument is unknown to you. What do you do? I would !administrate out of the briefing room to a private location, I would !bring <Name> the first CO then find out what the argument is about by asking "Why are you guys arguing, I'm not sure what it is about but you guys were getting pretty intense, whats it all about?" I would listen to his side of the story and depending if it was serious I would question the other CO !bring <Name>. Then question the second CO. I would resolve the issue before they are sent back to briefing. After the situation is resolved I would either give them a verbal warning or !warn <name> (Reason). If it wasn't that serious and they were mucking around I would say "Hey, you need to remember you are in a leadership position and you need to act appropriately around other troopers." !return <Name> or !return @ the first CO after reminding them not to be immature on stage in front of potential new players or any player. A Cadet has been complaining and wandering around because he hasn't been trained yet. He doesn't appear to have any intent to role play. What do you do? I would !administrate then proceed to !goto <name> the cadet, I would then go to the training room and !bring <name> the cadet to the Training Room. I would say "Hey, you need to stay in the training room until a trainer comes." I would then call a SGT to the training room, if no one came I would then !bring <name> a SGT+ to a training room, or train them myself. If they had no intent to Role Play I would give them a warning !warn <Name> NITRP refusing to be trained and minging around. If they continued I would ban them for an appropriate amount of time based on their actions after the warn either use !Menu to ban them or !ban <name> (Time).

  5. +1 you have been in the staff team before and and have experience. Recently you stepped into the role of unassigned CO, this role allows you to help and interact with new players in a positive way. I believe you would be a great help to players by giving them new event experiences. Good luck
  6. +1 I've known Shua for a couple of years on another community and recently met him on gateway, my experience with him shows his dedication to help others, he respects all players, he follows the rules & has a very likable personality. His ability to deal with situations is good, from what i have seen of him he is good at finding effective resolutions and solutions to situations. Good Luck Mate
  7. +1 Since I joined Jedi you made my experience and others around more meaningful through great Role-Play. This was shown when you ran your first Jedi gathering under very short notice, for myself and two others. Through the gathering you went above and beyond setting up and planning the gathering over the time frame of 15 minutes, through the short time frame given you produced a great gathering experience filled with lots of RP. This goes to show that you can work under pressure and within a set time frame big or small. I believe you would be a good asset to the Event Team Good Luck
  8. +1 Good guy, when i joined 327th he was quick to show me the ropes and give me opportunities. On top of that he was polite patient and has a positive reaction & relationship with most. He follows all rules and reminds new comers of them to help keep them in line. I believe he would make a good staff member. Good Luck

BACKSTORY I was born into a Gungan family known as the Loh’s 17 years prior to the start of the great war known as the Clone Wars. My life after birth was very simple to start with, I was a fast learner and loved to steal gumfish from my father’s fishing basket. When I arose to the age of 4, my father took me to the surface for the first time where he began to teach me simple combat forms he learnt from the Gungan Grand Army. He began by giving me a blunt stick where I then began to learn how to strike In self defense. When I was 5 I mastered the art of self defense and my father sought me further training in offensive basic dueling. Amongst all the training my father was giving me, he was also teaching me how to hunt for our food. At first my hunting skills were very poor and lacked method, through my time learning offensive strategies hunting became easy for me. I found in hunting the key to success was stealth and silence to not alarm your prey. When I was 6 I was granted the responsibility of being my family’s provider, as my father picked up more duties within the Gungan Grand Army. One day I was hunting on the surface for a special occasion happening for my new born brother. I was moving through the trees slowly like usual when I sighted a battle droid, it was unlike anything I had seen before and I had only heard rumours of such beings. I ran back to the River and dived below to tell my father of the sighting. My father told me it was a protocol droid, as he had never seen a battle droid on Naboo before. Started a panic around the city and my father had then forbidden me from going to the surface. Two years had passed since then when the official reports of battle droid presence started to flow in, the city was then locked down for a long period of time to keep the Gungan citizens safe. One afternoon the Gungan Grand Army was dispatched to the surface to support the soldiers above. That same day of deployment the battle of Naboo commenced, I gathered all the food in our living quarters for my mother and 3 year old brother to eat. I made my way to the surface in an effort to help assist the defence efforts. My father spotted me running into the deployable ray shields protecting the Gungans from the enemy blaster fire. Suddenly the ray shields fell and I watched as many brave Gungans fell. My father runs over to me and picks me up in an effort to hide me. Suddenly we fell to the ground with my father laying on top of me in his final moments. This is where he whispered in my ear “Youssa gotta hide….”. With my fathers death I fled for the underwater city, when I got there it was being attacked I saw my mother and my little brother both deceased on the floor next to the food I supplied I swam for the surface and took refuge in a cave. I was in the cave hiding for 2 hours orphaned and all alone, when suddenly I heard footsteps. As I peered out of the cave for a look I was instantly compromised by blaster fire from a remaining platoon for battle droids. I ran back into the cave behind a rock with a spear I had sharpened with my time in the cave. Suddenly I hear loud heavy blaster fire for a minute then Naboo falls silent once more, as a figure grabs my arm and picks me up. It was a Jedi Knight who picked me up and immediately felt what he described as a connection to the force. He took me on his ship to courosaunt where I stood before the Jedi council as a scared Gungan boy. Master yoda granted me to learn the ways of the force as a youngling, the Jedi who found me took me to a room and gave me basic necessities. I arrived at my first meditation class as a Jedi youngling, my presence in the room made the others uncomfortable because of the way I looked and spoke. As time went on and classes progressed I was alone focusing on studies when a youngling named Roso Vi started to help me. We started our friendship out by studying together and duleing together, as time went on we grew a bigger bond closer to each other. One day we parted our own separate two ways to focus because we had too much attachment. 8 Years passed when all the first year younglings from my time met again for the final preparations. The day of our gathering we were assigned seats next to each other in the mini cruiser. On the journey to the sacred crystal caves we shared our adventures and studies again, we spoke of the times we were apart and tasks we had filled out. When we arrived at the caves we got briefed my Master Yoda himself, he said “Enter the caves you must... and find a crystal, seek the force for guidance you must... and you will find what you are looking for”. Once we were in the caves we were faced with many decisions and pathways, myself and Roso sought different pathways from which the force guided us. Once we had our crystals we met once more out the front of the caves with all the other younglings. 1 year later I met Roso again standing before the Jedi council awaiting by my side for the appointment of our individual master’s. I was appointed Knight Tiberius, and from that day onwards I was a Jedi Padawan in the order.
