    Rating system was a bit doodoo EM team back then decided to scrap it but its up to Mr Head Left Clicker if it comes back, I'm somewhat against it as currently we dont do ROTW also thats more an event server idea as it would not work without event server back to what it was when it was around

The makings of a great EM In all seriousness though reading over the app it is detailed in the areas that are important and shows an interest in becoming an EM, As you have said you arent super well versed in gmods variety of tools and usually not many people are. When i first started as an EM i remember having no clue how half of the tools worked and was confused but during the trial phase you get used to how the main tools work that assist in events and you can do some experimenting of your own with different tools that arent covered much during your trial. Personnally I have never had any problems with you as a person you always seem to be offering good ideas for rp and show an initiative to create RP, also as you are a CO that responsibility you take on is a good quality in an EM and shows that you wont abuse or misuse your powers. Overall great app and there is nothing wrong with giving you a +1

  5. Overall this is a fairly good app, my only issue is that the event idea seems a bit bland and not too in depth. You should describe what 104th could negotiate for to make the bounty hunters turn the rayshield off etc. Over all though its a fairly good app with some grammatical errors here and there but not too major, Leaning on a strong neutral weak +1, if you can add more detail to your event plan it will be a +1 from me but atm it will be a Neutral

[ACCESS GRANTED] Names: CT-38294 'Lark', CT-38295 'Hark', CT-38296 'Zark' Ranks: Advisor 'Lark', Senior Advisor 'Hark', Advisor 'Zark' Previous Occupations: [REDACTED] Current Occupations: Advisors for taskforce 'Gateway' Mental States: 'Lark': [REDACTED] 'Hark': Stable 'Zark': Unknown Backstory: The 'arks were pod brothers and were numbered numerically from each other 'Lark' being the first. Their time training at Kamino showed what sort of soldiers they were. Various activitys showed what they were most proficient in. 'Lark' excelled in field tactics and taking charge of smaller forces, during a simulation the squad lead had been taken down and 'Lark' took charge immediately and ordered the troopers with precision like no other leading him to be made a high ranking officer of the 41st. After a siege on some trandoshans that required no errors 'Lark' commanded the troops perfectly and won that battle this lead to him being transferred to the advisory academy and was trained and made an Advisor. As a celebration for his graduation from the academy he painted some of his armour a light green colour to represent his victory that made him an advisor. 'Hark' was the odd one of the bunch for he didnt excell in any specific area and was a fairly average trooper. After his training at Kamino, 'Hark' was assigned to the 41st corps and was made an NCO as he was skilled in all areas and made a good NCO. During a mission on Corellia the 41st corps was sent to deal with the natives and try and get them to evacuate the area before CIS forces rampaged through the area. When they arrived at the village the natives weren't very accomidating and were very cold to the troopers. 'Hark' tried to communicate with them and tell them what was coming but none listened. As he was trying to tell them the second time CIS forces had already made there way to the village and started devestating all life in the village. Hark's squad tried to defend the natives and evacuate them but the CIS battalion was too powerful for a squad of 20 troops. The natives were slaughtered and only a few managed to escape alive. Hark's squad tried to put a dent in the CIS force to slow them down and managed to do so for a bit until they were overwhelmed by the CIS force. The clones were all gunned down and were all deemed dead by the CIS force storming through the jungle. 'Hark' managed to survive as the blaster bolts only hit his shoulder and was knocked out. He woke up and saw his squad all on the ground, he checked all their vitals and found he was the only one left. The fact the CIS slaughtered everyone angered hark and led him to attempt to take on the CIS force for when they set up base camp if they ever did. 'Hark' went off grid for the next couple days while following the CIS force waiting for them to encamp and destroy it swiftly. While on the move he fashioned his own ghille suit and used it to keep hidden from the CIS while tailing them. The CIS decided to set up outside a city and prepare to siege it. 'Hark' used this time to strike at night and utilise the jungle to the best of his abilities. He managed to aquire some thermal dets to plant on all the vehicles and around the encampment. Sneaking into what looked like the command centre he is met with a Super Tactical droid which confused him greatly as they are usually nowhere near the combat. using the e5 he had picked up from the armoury he took out the Super Tactical and the rest of the forces in the command centre singlehandedly and ripped the head off the tactical droid. Planting more dets in the centre he attempts to leave quietly but is spotted by a b1 leaving the command centre. 'Hark' gets shot at and gets hit in his leg but manages to get away blowing up the dets on his way out. Clones defending the city hear and see the explosion and send out troops to investigate the explosion. Finding the ruined CIS encampment they search for anything of use. 'Hark' comes out of the bushes and identifies himself and gets taken back for medical attention. The accomplishment of taking down a full CIS force singlehandedly got the attention of the advisor academy as you would have to have insane strategic thinking to pull off something like that, so after he was healed up he attended the academy and graduated with flying colours. He was then assigned to Taskforce Gateway 'Zark' was an exemplary trooper who was the best shooter of his batch and was recognised for it. He was assigned to the 41st corps under the lead of Colonel 'Lark'. 'Zark' wasn't thrilled to be with his "funny" pod brother which he claimed he was. Under the leadership of Lark, 'Zark' managed to make his way up the ranks with his advanced tactics due to his incredible marksmanship. This led him to become an advanced marksman trainer increasing the clones aim proficiency in the regiment by 15%. He eventually led his own platoon and managed to overwhelm the CIS with the precise marksmanship from all his troopers and the precise orders that came from 'Zark'. The interest in taking him into the advisor academy grew with his achievements and was eventually persuaded to attend as 'Zark' was more of a frontline trooper then a commanding trooper. Sometimes Advisor 'Zark' sneaks in with the troops by wearing normal armour and takes part in sieges against his commanders orders. Appearance of the cultists: One of Advisor 'Harks' first assignments was to protect a senator loved by the city of Naboo, all was going well until some sort of shield came up around the city and a mysterious cultist priest appeared from a portal and kidnapped the senator. Advisor 'Hark' lost contact with the Taskforce and tried to help the troopers the best he could but was unable to. Luckily Taskforce Gateway is a fairly skilled taskforce and figured out a way to disable the shield leading 'Hark' to get back in contact with them. After being updated on the current situation 'Hark' was very confused but located the location of the senator and told the troopers to head over there and figure out a way to get him back. However the taskforce was too slow and the priest exploded the Senator in front of the taskforce, they managed to capture the priest but he disappeared through a portal leading to his escape. From records on base by the jedi he appeared at the jedi temple on Titan base and talked with them and was looking for the one they worship on a tablet in the temple. However apparently what the cultist was looking for wasnt there, enraged he talked to a jedi about her and tried to make him join him, however the jedi did not accept and had to strike him down in self defence. The cultists were a constant pain in Advisor 'Harks' behind and would not stop getting the jump on the republic force. Eventually after many ambushes by the cultists Advisor 'Hark' caught on to them and managed to ambush them on a desert planet. There was no known reason they were there but catching them off guard they didnt like that so the cultists dropped a bomb that was unable to be defused in time and an unknown force came in to save them. Advisor 'Hark' made a deal with them to do a favour for them and they took the bomb away saving taskforce gateway. Advisor 'Lark' was then assigned to the favour task that the unknown force wanted them to do. It seemed to be a fairly simple task to aquire some sort of explosive device. The troopers got the device fairly easily with little resistance as the cultists were caught by surprise. Suddenly a cultist ship appeared out of nowhere and bombarded the command centre destroying it and severly injuring Advisor 'Lark'. The 917th medical division managed to get to him in time and stabalise him before it was too late and got him on a laat for med evac. This ambushing them and the republic is still currently going on and will keep going on until the Advisors figure out where their homebase is. ACT II - The Directorate Advisor Hark was approached by the Advisory team consisting of; Senior Advisor 'Epsilon', Marshal Dice, Marshal Moon and Marshal Victor S. Steel, inquiring if he would be willing to help with the sieges on the directorate which he gladly accepted. During this campaign we took the fight to the Directorate ending with a good blow to the Directorate by taking out General Dae and Doctor Hayden. What I aim to do with my events is try and give certain regiments specific roles without leaving any regiment doing nothing and getting bored. This is a very ambitious goal but due to the new event server coming in to play I can orientate my events around certain regiments using their skills to the best I can also the regiments can be more suited for events I plan. But before the event server I would try and bring my creativity by doing mini campaign events with recurring characters and put my own twist on each event Have you participated in many of our Events?: Yes, I've participated in many events as a trooper and as an EC Are you familiar with Gmod's wide range of NPC tools?: Currently I am familiar with some of the tools but am willing to learn and ask for advice about the tools from my peers Name 3 tools that are at an Event Masters disposal within events and leave a small comment detailing each of their uses: 1: Advanced Duplicator – The advanced duplicator is an EMs best friend, this gives ems ease to paste down dupes that enhance events and make setup quicker, it also comes in handy as you can go into singleplayer and create a dupe there and then paste it in on the server. 2: Hyperspace Tool – The hyperspace tool functions to make the immersion of munificents or other types of ships real and seem like they did jump in from out of nowhere instead of the muni getting just spawned in 3: Vanillas Turbolaser tool – The turbolaser tool can be used as friendly turbolasers or munificent turbolasers. This makes the players wary of an area to be in when the muni starts firing or used as a plothole to stop troopers going somewhere they shouldn’t Are you aware of how much a Gmod server can take or how unstable Gmod truly is?: Yes having witnessed many events where the server has crashed or started to crash from the amount of props and AI on the server I’ve started to understand how much a gmod server can take and will be very mindful of what and how much i spawn in. This is all precautions but in the end Gmod and the server will do what it pleases and sometimes as much as you try to be cautious it won't always work out. Do you have any event experience? e.g. played a key character in an event before: I have a lot of event experience but from my knowledge I don’t believe I’ve ever played a key character in the past (or that I knew was a key character at the time) However during my time as an EC I’ve tried to keep using the same name when appropriate as to give players a sense of Déjà vu. In Andy’s Return of the beast campaign I played as a character called the Strange Figure. If you don’t know he was the one in control of the whole situation and controlled commands given to the beast. I was given free reign on what I said and tried to make an impact. I don’t know how much impact I made but I believe I made the character unique by giving him a ‘this beast is just another minion' vibe and discarded the beast like it was nothing On a scale of 1-10, how much lore knowledge do you have?: 6-7 I have knowledge on most of the main stream star wars series and a little bit of legends and SWTOR knowledge. On a scale of 1-10, how familiar are you with ulx commands?: 5, Currently I only know the basic commands like !bring !goto !kick !ban !hp !return. this is the extent of my knowledge as I've never used ULX before. But from what I've heard a quick google search can give me all the commands I'll need to use and if not i can always ask my peers. Make a comment regarding the recent events on our server and how they have inspired you to become an event master: There hasn't been a recent event that has inspired me to make the app but there have been many events of my time playing that have made me appreciate EMs and make the decision to become one. One of the main events would have to be Andy's Campaigns. My first campaign was an Andy campaign and it was just perfect it really got me into wanting to play more SWRP and got me more involved with the server. Another event would have been an Event held by Tango. The event was where two banking clan members were coming to inspect the base to see if their money was being spent properly. I was one of the ECs for that event but the way it was handled was epic, the fact the troopers had to guide us away from the trouble as well as showing us the base was challenging for them and was a very enjoyable event. Personally i want to be able to give people the same amount of joy these events have given me, it just makes me want to try and give it my best. Do you understand that most events rely mainly on improvisation and mainly nothing goes to plan (ever)?: Yes having witnessed many EM's getting derailed because of what a trooper has done or found when they were not meant to, I understand that troopers also dont always listen to what you say or mishear stuff and this also puts the event off course, however I would remind them with voice amp to go somewhere or do something if I notice a large amount not doing what they are meant to be doing. There is also the fact that events can get derailed by the server having a fit and crashing, this can then lead to the event starting 20 minutes later than you wanted it too and chews into your time for the event. How confident are you in providing briefings, debriefings, and in ensuring you're able to direct players throughout your events?: From my experience as an officer in 7th and talking to many people I believe I would be able to competently provide briefings and debriefings. I would also be fine with having to direct players with voice amp during missions. Scenarios: 1. An event doesn't go to plan and General Grievous is crushed by an elevator. Players are laughing at you. What do you do? I would play it off as that he cut through the elevator walls and escaped into the ventilation shaft, there is no better solution for this to play out. I would then proceed to bring him back depending on how important he is or how much of an obstacle he is meant to be would be what happens to him after. If he was not important to the objective i would say he cut into a ventilation shaft but got his legs crushed and has gone to his fighter, if he was important i wouldnt damage him i would just bring him back to the area and let him wreak havoc on the troopers. 2. A user is bad mouthing your events. How do you react? Depending on the language they choose to take with bad mouthing I would tell them they should not bad mouth an event in the chat and if you have some advice on how to fix it he can talk to me about it. I would then tell him if he has some feedback he can come to me and talk about what he thinks I could do better and tell me how I could improve on my events instead of putting it in /ooc. However players do as they will so if its not concerning what they are putting I’d leave them be as it can sometimes be beneficial. 3. You have to go AFK in the middle of an event you are running and there are no backups available. What should you have done to avoid this? If I knew i had to go AFK in the middle of my event I would ask someone before the event to run the event instead of me as I have to go afk and cannot run the event. But because I knew beforehand, I should have never offered to run the event and let someone else do it 4. Players and a few staff members are complaining about the amount of lag they're dealing with during your event. How do you resolve this? At first, I would go around the map deleting all the unnecessary props that have no use anymore for instance, an old slice location that had been completed and has no relevance anymore. If the server is still lagging hard i would minimize the amount of AI I spawn in and be mindful of that. To conclude your app. you are required to create and design your own event.
