I will bring an unbiased view to conflicts and will help to handle situations calmly and with reasonable punishments. I'll try my hardest and give back to the Gateway community

Yes I do. If a friend is breaking server rules I will treat them exactly how I would treat others and if a friend of mine is involved in a conflict I would make sure to see both sides of the story and try to see things from both party's points of view

Situations: Green = Command Yellow = Speech Purple = Name
1. A user is RDMing and insulting other users. You are the only staff available to deal with the situation. What do you do? I would first check that he was RDMing by checking logs using /logs. If indeed he was RDMing I would bring him to me using !bring (name) and say to him "Hey man, I've had some reports that you've been RDMing and insulting other players. What's been happening here?". If he admitted to it I would give him a warn using !warn (name) RDM and inform him that if he carried on he would have more severe consequences.
If he did not admit I would bring the other player using the !bring and speak to them to get both party's points of view. If neither of them agree or cooperate I would speak to any witnesses to see if a conclusion can be reached.
If he has not been RDMing but still insulting people I would give him a verbal warn before giving him an official server warning. After I have dealt with the situation I would return him using !return name
2. A user has contested a warn you have given him and proceeds to verbally abuse you, what do you do?
I would bring them to me using !bring name and wait for them to calm down and then ask them to stop abusing me. I would then ask them to explain their reasoning behind why they think the warn is unjust. If I am not sure what to do or the trooper is unsatisfied I would speak to senior staff. If they approved of my decision to warn him I would keep the warn up and if the trooper continued to abuse me I would warn him again and give him a ban if he continued after that. If the senior staff did not approve of my warn I would remove the warn and apologize to the trooper then return him using !return name
3. A user has threatened to DDos and take down the server. What do you do?
I would first speak to the trooper to make sure he was serious and gain context around the situation and if I believed that he did intend to DDos the server I would get evidence of the threat (Screenshots, recording, etc) and ban him using !ban name DDos Threat as a DDos threat is a serious offense.
4. A Commander and Lieutenant are arguing in front of debrief. It is getting quite heated. The context to the argument is unknown to you. What do you do?
First I would make sure that the argument is not RP. If it was RP it would be CG's job so I would let them deal with it. If not I would go to a secure, far away location and !bring both players too me. I would then wait for them to calm down or tell them to calm down. I would the remind them "As higher ranking troopers you have to set an example for the rest or the server." I would then attempt to help mediate the situation, give them a verbal warning and tell them that "If you continue there will be more harsh punishments." If they become abusive toward me or the other player I would give the abusive one a warning ( !warn name Staff/Player disrespect.) I would then give them a short ban if the situation escalates.
5. A Cadet has been complaining and wandering around because he hasn't been trained yet. He doesn't appear to have any intent to role play. What do you do?
I would !goto name and say "Hey dude, I'm Sean/Wolffe. Look, you need to be trained before we can let you run free so I'm going to have to bring you back to the cadet room. We'll get a SGT to train you." I would then say in OOC or Comm's "SGT plus to the cadet room or I will choose one at random." If no SGT is available I would train the cadet myself. If he really has no intent to RP I would warn him that he does need to RP as this is an RP server and if he continues to disobey and not listen it will result in punishment. If he continues to minge I would !warn name no intent to RP him and if he continues I would ban him for 1 day using !ban name 1d No intent to RP. Thanks for reading.
