No Have you used PAC3 before? Yes Why do you want access to PAC3? To enhance my roleplay capabilities and further immerse myself and people on the server into the roleplay elements. I have already devised some things to do in roleplay with my PAC's I have created and how to introduce them into the world and how to introduce future ones like robotic limbs, custom helmets and many more. How is PAC3 going to enhance your time on the server? It will help me enhance my skills with PAC3 and add more to the character I have created. plus I can make roleplay more fun and easy for when we don't have specific people on for different scenarios such as: ISB not being around to access a data pad, so I scan it and access it remotely or a inquisitor isn't around to determine what Jedi/sith artefact is around and what it does so I scan it and access a database to understand it. 41st Application Name: Domino Age: (optional): 18 Current positions: SSG 501st Highest Rank achieved: 2nd LT Position you want: CO of Green Company Why do you want this position?: -I'd like to diversify my experience on Gateway, considering all my prior regiments/sub-regiments haven't been vehicle orientated. (E.g, Galactic Marines, 501st, Coruscant Guard, 7th Sky Corps, Shadow, 187th, etc). -I haven't taken on a role with this much responsibility before either, which is surprisingly quite motivating because I do want to see how I'd fair in that environment. -I want an excuse to learn the other aspects of RP that I haven't really delved into, and along with that the general differentiation in gameplay from a normal infantry soldier. -I'd like to test my leadership capabilities to a further extent, and use this opportunity to mature in regards to a lot of the stuff I usually pull. -I love the 41st and I have friends that love the 41st (That actively play and are keen to join too!) What can you bring to the regiment and what will make people interested in joining the sub-regiment if you become co?: -I feel that I'm very good at creating comradery between people, in every regiment I've been in I always try my best to make positive relationships not only regarding me, but between the troopers themselves. Without a positive social environment people become less motivated, more angry over small things, less willing to learn, more prone to starting arguments etc. I personally believe It's important for players coming into the regiment to have a positive first interaction, whether that be with a random trooper in a corridor or in a try-out itself. I believe I'm great at creating these interactions that shape how the regiment is viewed not only from the outside but those within and overall it's this kind of mentality that makes players keen to log on. To summarise, I think given the responsibility, I'd shape up to be a very positive influence on the inner workings of the regiment. -I'm extremely active, even though I've only just gotten back into the server I feel as if I've played for half a year. I've been having more fun that I've had in a long time, and thus have just been playing quite a ridiculous amount. On the average day I'm on at least periodically starting early at (12pm EST) and log off late (3am EST). Playtime may only seem beneficial for me - but I believe time played has a massive contribution to how a regiment functions. For example, since I play this vast time scheme I get to experience the early morning players, the periodic players and the late night players. When a player can log on, see a commanding officer in their regiment they have something to do. I'm always keen to do training, go on adventures or just have some fun in the bunks. It's unfortunate that so many regiments have inactive commanding officers, and I think I'd be a perfect fix for that. -I have an equilibrium between a fun, and serious side. I can offer our troopers fun when it is to be had (Down time, or when appropriate) and keep up team moral. In contrast I find it pretty easy to get serious quickly, and when you take the effort to have a relationship with each trooper, they are almost always going to listen. To add to that, I'm not afraid to reprimand troopers, and if given the position will act to provide as a good role model for the troopers in the regiment. Notes: -If you talk to me I am more than willing to change the way I act in many regards to fit the view of the regiment, including jokes, talking to much, to loud etc. -I'm very keen to join and have a position of responsibility, and thus am highly motivated. -I want the position very badly, thus you can rely on me to not abuse the great responsibility I would have as a CO in anyway. -I would still play in an alternative regiment/ as a Jedi on a second slot because I'm enjoying the server a lot and am going to be purchasing one soon.

Do you have Teamspeak 3 installed? Yes Are you willing to test your stress? Yes What is your age? (Minimum of 14 years of age.) 16 List your current playtime: 307.93 Are you willing to learn new ways to approach situations? Yes Do you have any active warns? No. Do you have any problems with any of our current staff members? No Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:62850949 Steam Profile Link: https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198085967626/ Current in-game alias/rank: Master Sergeant 6642 Trident (41st Elite Corps) Previous Notable Names/Ranks/Positions [N/A] How known are you on a scale of 1-10? 5-6 How will you bring new and creative event ideas to the server?: It hasn't been long since I've been in events with event masters but I have learned this awhile ago when I was an Event Master in the first place. I will use these ideas to conduct and create unique events that players hasn't seen before, It could possibly end up good or maybe bad, it depends how well it goes for, Feedbacks are nice but criticism will help make improvements for my event and makes me want to learn and keep creating more better idea's to make events way more advanced. I'll also take suggestive and creative idea's from players or Event Masters, that will also improve my capability as an event master. Have you participated in many of our Events?: Yes, I've been as different characters throughout events, and character's role seems to change when the event is different then previously. I haven't been event character for awhile but after what I've been through, these event masters get us entertained during these events and it's enjoyable for players, even for the event characters themselves. I have benefits that I will run these type of events with EC's and keep them entertained and enjoyable for them. Are you familiar with Gmod's wide range of NPC tools? (Provide examples): NPC Notarget: EM's and EC's use this tool as their disposal, this will prevent NPC's from attacking them when enabled just by simply right clicking on their mouse in any direction. (They can disable it just by right clicking again.) NPC Proficiency: This tool would change how difficult enemies are, making them very skilled in combat throughout events. NPC Health: This would change how much health NPC's can have, possibly ranging 350 to 5000. Name 3 tools that are at an Event Masters disposal within events and leave a small comment detailing each of their uses: Teleporter Tool: Placing two teleporters will simply teleport Troopers to Point A to Point B, this is useful so players don't have to respawn and run back to their death area, this will make the job far more easier. (Also, you can put them on vehicles without having to update them every single time.) Hyperspace Tool: This will make ships appear out of no where, you can also change the settings wherever you like it to be that you see fitting. Dispenser Tool: Main tool for EM's, this will deploy drop pods arranging from B1's B2's and BX Droids, you can also make them destructible as well. Are you aware of how much a Gmod server can take or how unstable Gmod truly is?: Yea, I've witnessed some server lag and crashes in some events and it was chaotic, through some applications I've read, this can occur when we have so many props, vehicles, jetpacks and unstable maps, though there is some assumption, you can delete some props that aren't needed in the event, LFS Vehicles and reduce amount of jetpack uses to reduce the lag a little bit. Do you understand that you are not allowed to abuse your staff rank's powers outside of events? Provide 3 examples detailing different situations that would be considered abuse: Yes, I do understand that I am not allowed to abuse my rank for "fun". I'll provide examples that would consider as abuse. Staff Abuse #1: Randomly Physgunning people, without necessary means. This would annoy people and can lead to a strike. Staff Abuse #2: Spawning NPCs/Vehicles randomly in non-event scenario. Spawning NPC's behind players and killing them with it, deploying vehicles and handing it over to some random CT to abuse and RDM people with. Staff Abuse #3: RDM'ing and Noclipping away, this did actually happen when I was an EM and simply screwed up and almost got a strike for it, so that's why It goes on this list. Do you have any event experience? e.g. played a key character in an event before: Affirmative, I was a recent JEM back in the day 4 months ago and I have decent knowledge of hosting/participating in events. On a scale of 1-10, how much lore knowledge do you have? 7 On a scale of 1-10, how familiar are you with ulx commands? 6 Make a comment regarding the recent events on our server and how they have inspired you to become an event master: Well, after being an Event Character through different type of events, I've seen many ways how Event Masters create their event, I was inspired to apply for Trial Event Master because I want to witness it myself and get full experience with making events and do cool things with it. Do you understand that most events rely mainly on improvisation and mainly nothing goes to plan (ever)? Yes, even we make bad mistakes with our events, we can always make good improvements and continue making good events. How confident are you in providing briefings, debriefings, and in ensuring you're able to direct players throughout your events? Somewhat confident how I speak, but It can lead to some screw ups if I don't do it properly, but I'll make sure my instructions are clear and simple for people to understand correctly. An event doesn't go to plan and General Grievous is crushed by an elevator. Players are laughing at you. What do you do? If that ever happens, simply I will use !bring [username] some where hidden from players, then use !hp [username] [amount]. Afterwards, I'll use the !order command saying "General Grevious escaped through the elevator shaft and is making his way back to you Troopers!" this would keep the players on their feet and continuing with the event. A user is bad mouthing your events. How do you react? Simply, I would get the user to calm down. I'll get them to carry on with my event. If they continue bad mouthing my event, I must confront the user and calm him down again, but this time I interrogate the user and give me reasons why he was trash talking my events, when he provides good criticism and information, I will take it and make good use of that criticism for future but if not then I'll have to ignore the user and continue with the event. If it ends up good then I would get the user to contact me through TS3, Discord after the event. You have to go AFK in the middle of an event you are running and there are no backups available. What should you have done to avoid this? I'll make sure to go LOA before making events, this is easily preventable and I'll get things done IRL and book the events on the day when I'm available. If this does indeed happen, I'll make sure to contact the EM's or Backup EM's (Moderators) to help operate the event while i'm away, providing them simplistic information what the event is about before going AFK. Players and a few staff members are complaining about the amount of lag they're dealing with during your event. How do you resolve this? as I explained previously on "gmod instability" question, I would remove the props that isn't necessary during the event, reduce jetpack uses and LFS Vehicles. If that's not enough and the server is still lagging and almost crashing, I have to perform a server clean-up and set up half the event and continue on, this will help reduce the lag even more and remove most of the stuff that is missed out. To conclude your app. you are required to create and design your own event. This includes planets, maps and stage actions. Include lots of detail in your event design. You are required to involve PassiveRP elements. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1reKAVzwFob6LCZ_6VOHoDcEgo5gHOTgzrdWbCZDUjy4/edit?usp=sharing If you have any feedbacks or Criticism please let me know in the comment below the application and I'll happily read them! Your In-game Name: CT 5943 HelsingRider Your Steam Profile Link: https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561199165241212/ Your Steam ID (Find it here) STEAM_0:0:602487742 _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Who banned you?: I don't know Length of the ban?: Permanent Reason of the ban?: Gambling addiction & trading for credits with donations packages Why should we unban you?: Dear Gateway Gaming, I am Connor and the one who broke "Rule 3. No Fail-Rp". Nevertheless, I am very sorry for breaking the server rules. It was wrong for me to gamble with real-life money, as it sets a bad example for other players. I knew that gambling was not allowed when I did it, and I apologize for acting as though I am above the rules that everyone must follow. It was selfish and impolite to both you and the rest of the community. I understand that the rules at Gateway Gaming are in place to keep players safe, appropriate, and honest. My behavior and rulebreaking were wrong of me because of the danger it put other players. I know that I am not an exception to the rules, and any punishment is completely deserved. I understand your concern, whether it be about charging back or that I was in possession of a stolen credit card. However, this wasn't the case at all, and I am ready to provide verification of ownership. I have 562.000,58 USD dollars in my bank account, and a simple pocket change of 600 dollars wasn't going to economically hurt me. I am a streamer and gambling off-stream on your servers helped me combat my gambling addiction. Once again, I'm sorry for my behavior. If you would allow it, then I will start to work hard from now on to show you my respect and obedience when it comes to the guidelines here at this server. In addition, I will try and minimize all gambling activities, and roleplay appropriate in the future. Sincerely, Connor
